I’ve used CRE electricians to PAT test and replace smoke alarms in my rentals. Based on their competency and reliability, I then asked them to instal some appliances & led lighting in my own home.. CRE electricians are friendly, polite, neat & tidy and above all trustworthy. Chris is very knowledgeable and gives honest, sound advice.. We used Armley Electrical following failure of the upstairs electrics. They came round within the hour and were very quick to diagnose the problem (attributed to previous shoddy workmanship). They made the situation safe and returned a couple of days later to fix the fault. They took time to explain the issue and what checks I needed to carry out in future. I found them to be extremely professional and thorough, and they cleaned up on completion of job. They didn't push a sale but encouraged me to search for other quotes before agreeing to the work. I was particularly impressed with the engineer assigned to the job - Terence. Overall, I was very pleased with the level of service and would highly recommend.

We have been working with Armley Electrical Services for many years now. They are always very professional in all aspects of their work, and we have used them for many things from full property refurbishments, certification, and reactive maintenance. Armley Electrical sorted out a wiring problem and fitted a ceiling light for me. The electricians Terence and Damian were professional and friendly and left the area clean and tidy. Hannah was was also very helpful. Would definitely use again. Thank you. Once again I have used Armley Electrical to install some more sockets in a bedroom. Terence was fantastic. He came out and looked at the job and then came out to fit the sockets. Hannah was once again very helpful. I would recommend this company without hesitation. I would not use anyone else now. We had extra sockets added, new ceiling lights fitted, new smoke alarms, light switch replaced and the relocation of a light switch. Peter was friendly, helpful and gave great advice on positioning of sockets and solutions to various issues we needed to solve. His price was good value and he was punctual, we would definitely recommend.

Peter installed several plugs, removed old ones from skirting boards and installed some wall lights. He visited our flat beforehand to understand our needs and give us a quote. He was able to begin the work the following week. He was incredibly professional and friendly. He worked to a very high standard and left our flat clean and tidy. He even rewired one room entirely to make sure we wouldn't need to this at a later stage after our floors have been installed. Because we're still in the middle of decorating, he left the plugs and lights off the walls to make our job easier and he'll call back at the flat once we are finished! Overall, I would highly recommend Peter. His price was really fair, he completed the job in a timely manner and did a fantastic job!

Peter came round on short notice to upgrade our fuse box and install an induction oven after we were let down by another electrician. Did an excellent job, very friendly and happy to explain things. We'll be getting Peter back again soon to do some other smaller jobs around the house, and eventually gradually re-wire the house. Definitely recommend!

Called Peter to get my fuse box upgrade and instal new cooker outlets. He came the same day to give me a quote and then arranged a time the following week to come and do the work. Tony responded quickly to my request for a quote for work to be completed at my Son's flat. The work was completed on time and professionally. The team are friendly and prices are very reasonable. When you use the same electrician multiple times you know you have a good one. Tony's rewired 2 bathrooms, installed a new consumer unit, electrical tested, fitted additional sockets, fitted smoke alarms and most recently rewired / installed a kitchen extension. A trusted tradie 👊🏼

I called Grant a bit concerned about a light fitting which was hot and smelled of burning. He was courteous and asked a few questions to ascertain how urgent the job was. He determined that he should come straight out and it's a very good job he did, we were scarily close to having a house fire. He and the other gentleman who came out (sorry I missed his name!) were friendly, professional and efficient, I felt comfortable that we were in good hands. Highly recommend using Lucid ES. Our circuit board went down the day before my sons birthday party with no light or power and a fridge and freezer full of party food... We could not get any electrician from near or far to attend. Despite being fully booked Lucid took the time to handle my enquiry from their online enquiry service and even took the time to call me and go through some safe troubleshooting steps to see if i could rectify the issue myself. Unfortunatley the RCD needed replacing, they sourced the parts straight away and came out of hours to make sure we were back up and running. Would also say at a very reasonable fee. Will definately be using them again in the future!

We consulted Ben for a second opinion after being told our fusebox was very old and could blow up at any time from another electrician. Ben came several hours later the same day, he arrived promptly when he said he would. He reassured us regarding the fusebox not being a safety problem and if we do want to upgrade at some point the quote was half of what the original electrician had quoted. He did this all free of charge. It can be very difficult to find a reliable and trustworthy trades person but Ben was a breath of fresh air. I have saved his number for any future problems and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable electrician with integrity.

Needed an electrician for a small number of jobs around the house including some additional sockets, kitchen pendant lights and installation of a ring doorbell. Lucid came round on time as previously agreed and completed the jobs too high standard. Work was neat and tidy and Ben was a friendly electrician explaining what he was doing as he went. Thoroughly recommended local tradesman.
