I called MPS Electrical in an emergency situation when my very full fridge freezer tripped the fuse box. I spoke to Marc who was so helpful and guided me through a temporary solution. If that's the service level of everyone in the firm then I would definitely recommend this company.

What a great experience. I called in a panic as my electric had gone off. We talked through on the phone and discovered the issue lay with Northern power grid. They provided the emergency number and even checked in later that day to check if all was resolved. I cannot recommend the service enough and have seabed the number for future projects that need doing in my house. Thank you!

Scott Electrical Ltd of Leeds were highly recommended and today they installed an electric vehicle charging point - an EO Mini Pro 2 - at my home, having been recommended/selected by the manufacturer. Paul and his colleague arrived promptly and set about their business in a professional and efficient way. They took the time to explain relevant issues and knew the product inside out. Their knowledge and expertise was apparent throughout the quite complex installation and this was clearly illustrated In the way they dealt with and explained the software and related app issues. They tidied all away upon completion and promised follow-up contact to ensure that all was running smoothly. I highly recommend them and I would have no hesitation in using their services again. 10/10!

Paul the Director of Scott Electrical was one of 3 approved installers recommended by EO. When i rang and spoke to Paul he came across very well and i was confident to give him my job to install the car charger. The date was confirmed and Paul himself and one of his colleagues arrived on time. They completed the installation without any issues and their work was of a very high order . Furthermore Paul took the time to explain thoroughly the workings of the EO app which is required for use with the charger. Craig was a true knight in shining armour for my elderly friend whose house was flooded recently. He attended late one evening to assess the situation, then arranged the necessary rewiring. Craig came out at short notice to check my electrics after a 3.30 am power cut. When he arrived that afternoon he checked the house and found it to be a problem with the main supply outside of the house. He called northern power whilst in the house and explained the problem. Fast reliable service, and a lovely touch of a follow text the next day to make sure northern power had resolved the issue.

Craig and his team are fab! He is so fab that you need to get into his diary asap as he gets so booked up. He is worth the wait as his work is impeccable! They fitted some lovely lights in the front of our house and we love how it turned out.

They did take like a month to invoice though but us but they were great, I'd recommend and use again

Araz was brilliant on our emergency call out. We contacted him at 20:50 and by 21:15 he was with us. He was very professional and did a top quality job in good time. We will definitely use him again in the event of another emergency, but hopefully I don’t drill through another wire again.

Stress free full house rewire The house needed a full rewire, which was a daunting prospect, but after a thorough inspection and consultation to discuss our requirements the whole process was made so stress-free. My requirements included: new double sockets and light switches (including 2 dimmer switches) throughout, a new mains fuse box with modern safety features, external sockets in the garden and garage, timed outdoor lighting and LAN ports. They were friendly, approachable and extremely knowledgable – everything was explained to us throughout. Communication was excellent, emails, phone calls and paperwork were all received promptly. They tidied up after themselves too. We have no hesitation recommending them to our family and friends. We will definitely be using their services again :)

James came out to service our boiler on Tuesday of this week and unfortunately condemned the boiler . He was straight to the point and advise us of our options.We opted to have a new combi boiler fitted which by 8 o clock on weds morning the lads came to start the job.... They were both very professional and kept both me and hubby updated with everything that they were having to do and thankfully left us with heatingand hot water that same night. They came back this morning to finish the job off and we are both delighted at the service they both provided and it was done so professionally and in a timely manner .. Came to my house yesterday to replace a lantern. On time, really helpful, responded quickly with a fair quote, very efficient and professional. I'd use their services again.

Highly recommend using Lucid ES. Our circuit board went down the day before my sons birthday party with no light or power and a fridge and freezer full of party food... We could not get any electrician from near or far to attend. Despite being fully booked Lucid took the time to handle my enquiry from their online enquiry service and even took the time to call me and go through some safe troubleshooting steps to see if i could rectify the issue myself. Unfortunatley the RCD needed replacing, they sourced the parts straight away and came out of hours to make sure we were back up and running. Would also say at a very reasonable fee. Will definately be using them again in the future!

Excellent service, great value for money and top bloke. Came out quickly to solve an issue with power to my garage, which I was greatful for as I would have lost food stock . He even gave me a bit of business advice whilst fixing the issue. I definitely recommend.

Needed an electrician for a small number of jobs around the house including some additional sockets, kitchen pendant lights and installation of a ring doorbell. Lucid came round on time as previously agreed and completed the jobs too high standard. Work was neat and tidy and Ben was a friendly electrician explaining what he was doing as he went. Thoroughly recommended local tradesman.

We consulted Ben for a second opinion after being told our fusebox was very old and could blow up at any time from another electrician. Ben came several hours later the same day, he arrived promptly when he said he would. He reassured us regarding the fusebox not being a safety problem and if we do want to upgrade at some point the quote was half of what the original electrician had quoted. He did this all free of charge. It can be very difficult to find a reliable and trustworthy trades person but Ben was a breath of fresh air. I have saved his number for any future problems and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable electrician with integrity.

Approached Ben for a quote to have fit some ceiling lights, outside lights, a new socket in a garage and face plates on most of the power outlets in the house. Not only did he turn up to quote when he said he would (which sadly we find is increasingly rare) but he managed to accommodate our tight timescales and sudden changes of plan as other things developed. Found Ben through a Google search. I had bought an old house needing a complete rewire. This included external work and also putting electrics in the garage. I liked Ben's professional attitude straight away. We needed to get a house inspected and the electrics checked over, we contacted 24-7 Electrical who came over as promised and gave us sound advice as to what was needed in the property. They came back and disconnected the electrics but installed a socket so that some power could be used. Chris and his team were very helpful in sorting this out and got it all done as promised in no time at all. This is a very reliable and helpful Company and we recommend them to anyone that needs electrical advice / work. They have carried out jobs for us before and the guys have always been brilliant to deal with, always helpful and polite. I needed an EICR certificate for my house as just about to rent it out and didn’t know this was the law/regs now until agent said. I used Check-a-Trader and these got back to me promptly with a quote and dates/times available. I came and checked out their reviews and had others coming back to me but these were really competitive and reviews were great. I wasn’t disappointed. 3 engineers turned up on time and were all courteous, smart, took their shoes off! Plus they were professional and helped to repair a fault on a socket while testing the whole house wiring. Took them a good while and they were really thorough. I expected to receive an invoice way over the quote but within 2 days I had the comprehensive certificate and the invoice as quoted. Very impressed so don’t be wary, these guys stick to their promises and do a great job. I’ll only put up a review if really bad or exceptional. These were exceptional and so has their customer service in the office and response times. I’d give 6 stars if I could.
