Gareth was a pleasure to work with and did a great job. Fantastic communication - always replied straight away and nothing was too much trouble. He worked around  the builders' schedule and did the job over the weekend due to a last minute change. He was even happy to make a small change after the lights had been installed. Moorside Electrical were excellent, I couldn't recommend them more highly. It's an older property which can prove challenging but I felt confident and looked after from quote through to completion. Great communication, fair price, respectful of home, top work and aftercare.

I had Gareth out to do some electrical work in a basement conversion. I was concerned that some of the works wouldn’t be possible but Gareth assured me that they’d be able to get it done without any problem. He was prompt at giving the quote and detailing what it covered. They added sockets to a circuit, replaced spotlights, replaced existing sockets, installed and wired an electric towel rail & electric heater, did some work to the fuse board and installed an outside light. Can’t fault the work that has been done. Would definitely recommend and will be using Moorside Electrical again.

Harrison carried out all the electrical work for our new kitchen including an enhanced lighting system and, where appropriate, isolation switches. His work included advice and design which ensured we achieved a modern installation that also complied with all regulations which would apply to a 'new build' house. He also installed heat and smoke detectors covering the whole house. We are extremely pleased with the standard of his work, his co-operation with the other contractors involved (joiners, plumbers etc) and his focused work style. We paid for materials at the commencement of the work and the balance on completion. We consider his overall cost very reasonable and will engage him again when the need arises.

We needed to get a house inspected and the electrics checked over, we contacted 24-7 Electrical who came over as promised and gave us sound advice as to what was needed in the property. They came back and disconnected the electrics but installed a socket so that some power could be used. Chris and his team were very helpful in sorting this out and got it all done as promised in no time at all. This is a very reliable and helpful Company and we recommend them to anyone that needs electrical advice / work. They have carried out jobs for us before and the guys have always been brilliant to deal with, always helpful and polite. I needed an EICR certificate for my house as just about to rent it out and didn’t know this was the law/regs now until agent said. I used Check-a-Trader and these got back to me promptly with a quote and dates/times available. I came and checked out their reviews and had others coming back to me but these were really competitive and reviews were great. I wasn’t disappointed. 3 engineers turned up on time and were all courteous, smart, took their shoes off! Plus they were professional and helped to repair a fault on a socket while testing the whole house wiring. Took them a good while and they were really thorough. I expected to receive an invoice way over the quote but within 2 days I had the comprehensive certificate and the invoice as quoted. Very impressed so don’t be wary, these guys stick to their promises and do a great job. I’ll only put up a review if really bad or exceptional. These were exceptional and so has their customer service in the office and response times. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

Robert is knowledgeable, gives sound advice and is flexible. The full home rewire was completed on schedule with quality parts and hardware and we were particularly impressed with the minimal damage to existing decor. They also took care to clean up properly afterwards. I will have no hesitation in having Robert carry out further work when needed.

Excellent service. Called today after house flooded, received good advice over the phone and promised to call back later and come out. Received a call at the time promised, and the work was completed swiftly. Everything was explained concisely without jargon (and no condescending ‘tradesman to woman’ stuff, if you’re female you’ll know what I mean!). I feel the price was reasonable considering the swift, skilled service. Receipt/invoice provided for insurer. And to top it all off, a very friendly and personable chap. Danny did all the electrical work during our renovations last year. This involved all new wiring to the extension (lights, plugs, ovens, fans, hard wired smoke detector, a new panel, outdoor day/night lighting). He is punctual and tidy. We were very happy with the work and asked him to wire up a new outbuilding this year, and install gorgeous festoon lights.
