Visiting the trade counter is always a pleasure as the staff make sure I’ve got the right gear for the job. If there are any issues with gear I needed ordering, they do their best to keep me up to date and offer alternatives to help me get the job sorted out so I can move onto the next.

The lads have fitted 3 outside security lights and they're amazing. A great job , very efficient, very friendly and polite and professional. Lewis did a job for me last year. I definitely recommend you.

They are super attentive with a friendly approach, find the best solution and products which result into the best result leaving a very tidy finish. I cannot recommend Econ Electrical enough. A job I had previously been told would be huge and prohibitively expensive was assessed and I was given a couple of options of how to resolve the issue - both options very reasonably priced. The work was carried out quickly, efficiently and effectively. I now have electricity back in a room I haven’t had it in for the first time in two years and I couldn’t be happier. The room was left spotless - I wouldn’t even have known they had been - except I had electricity! Thank you so much.

We recently used the team at Douglas Heating and Electrical - We 100% recommend this professional company. Firstly from panic stations with the Air Conditioning not working, then a bust radiator. Highly recommend! We had Cameron over to do a full rewire and he did an amazing job, very impressed with his work! He also fitted spotlights for us in the kitchen and bathroom which look very modern. In the kitchen he fitted us these isolator switches for each appliance that is difficult to get to the plug sockets for. These are super handy! He fitted us a new fuse board which is clearly labelled. He filled in all the chasers which most electricians don't do. Also compared to other tradesmen, he was very tidy! He smartened up the plumbing for our radiators. High quality work, will hire him again for future work!

Cameron did both the plumbing and electrical work required to bring my sons newly acquired house up to standard, as well as some improvements that we wanted. Chris recently went the extra mile with great customer service and support when I was dealing with the manufacturer regarding a problem while under warranty. Shortly afterwards I bought an integrated fridge from Castleford Domestic Appliances. Chris came and James the fitter did an excellent job. Highly recommended.

First class service from a family run business. Professional from start to finish. Our dish washer stopped working. My wife contacted Castleford Domestic Appliances to ask if they repaired dish washers. The very nice receptionist, who sounded very happy in her work said yes they did. She booked Adam and James to come and take a look on tuesday afternoon after 1pm. They rang before arriving to let us know they would be with us in 15 minutes. They arrived on time, assessed the job, advised the price. We agreed the price so they fixed it there and then. Two very polite professional young men. All fixed. Will definately recommend.
