Thank you to Electrician 2 U and Attoney who came to our home to complete the first fit of the electric lights to our new porch. He was very polite and respectful of our home and hoovered and tidied up after his first fit. Once the porch was complete he returned to complete the connection of the electric lights, three on the porch ceiling and two up down lights on the brick pillars, he didn't have black lights fittings as communication about the colour of our ceiling wasn't properly addressed by us. This wasn't an issue and he had black fittings delivered quickly to our home. Again he worked professionally and was respectful of our home and also had a look at our very old fuse box and gave us a great price to replace. That's another story. We had multiple electrical issues happen within very quick succession, contacted Anthony and his team on the Saturday, got a reply in less than 24 hours and booked in for the Monday! Amazing customer service, explained what he thought the issue was over the phone to put us at ease then diagnosed the issues when he got to us. Everything was explained well and all our questions were answered whenever they came up. They came for one issue and had resolved a hell of a lot more on our "to do" list!! Over 3 days we had a brand new fuse box, fuse box relocated, new outdoor light fitted, sockets fitted, changed out old light switches, fitted a dead switch, tested and certified everything up to a safe standard. We immediately felt at ease and safe in our home again. Can't believe how neat and tidy everything was. Seriously huge thank you to the whole team.

What an absolute pleasure. We called Ethan late on a Saturday night. He arrived an hour later with the best mannerisms I’ve ever experienced from a work man. He fixed all our issues in no time and even did a little extra when we asked him to. He was a delight, funny and considerate to have around. His craftsmanship was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Would highly recommend! After having a PIV installed by contractors that our letting agents sent out, two of our fire alarms started burning from the inside! We contacted EMS and they were here within the hour. They took a look at the install of the PIV and found it had been wired incorrectly causing our alarms to burn, potentially causing a fire! Luckily the problem was found and has now been disconnected for our safety and great advice was given on the next steps to take. Can’t thank them enough for the help and will definitely be using in the future!

I have to say a huge thank you. My very elderly parents suffered a total loss of electricity today meaning they had no heating and no electricity for their freezer, fridge, cooking and everything else. After having an absolute nightmare with my boiler leaking and flooding my flat I came across LRT after quickly searching for a boiler emergency repairman and I couldn’t be happier with the service and final product offered. the team was in constant contact and even worked to source a replace boiler cylinder over the weekend. Jason and co were extremely professional, reliable and managed to replace my boiler cylinder (with added features) within an extremely timely manner, they even checked out the flat below mine to assess the damage the flooding had caused at no extra cost! Jason and his team have been the absolute best. My boiler broke on Christmas Eve and I had a bad experience going through an emergency service at the time and was left with no hot water for three weeks. After finding LRT Electrical Ltd on this website, I spoke to Jason who was so honest with me since the start. He came and properly inspected the boiler and only four days after that came over with his team and replaced it. The job was carried out to the highest standard. Jonathan was prompt at providing a quote for the work (installation of new bathroom downlights) and was able to fit the job in within a couple of days. I cannot recommend Econ Electrical enough. A job I had previously been told would be huge and prohibitively expensive was assessed and I was given a couple of options of how to resolve the issue - both options very reasonably priced. BEST ELECTRICIAN IN BARNSLEY!! Absolutely brilliant guy, my electrics had blown late saturday and would not come back on due to a major fault somewere, so rang this guy. He came at 8am the next day (sunday) to luckily find the faulty socket (I have about 100 sockets) all wires had corroded and burnt out. The socket was quickly changed and everything was made safe. Back this week to do more electrical work and will now be my go to electrician for all my electrical work.

Totally professional and competent people who come out and talk you through the situation. Even with jobs you've given the go ahead they came back and said we didn't need all the work and changed the invoice to the customer advantage. I contacted Jamie from Farrington Electricals limited due to what I considered to be an urgent problem with my kitchen lights. He gave me a quote, which I was happy to accept. He visited later that day and completely sorted the problem. He also sorted two other small problems that I hadn't added to quote for without charge. I have since asked for a further quote to replace my outside lighting which I have accepted, and I would certainly use him again for any further electrical work/problems

Jamie has done 2 jobs for me since 2023:- 1) to run a 25 amp supply underfloor to an external aircon unit, 2) to check and certify my domestic installation (an old house with convoluted wiring). He did an excellent job on both occasions, impressing me with his enthusiasm and thoroughness. He is also a nice guy to deal with - answers his phone, keeps his appointments, and lets you know if he is delayed. I am pleased to recommend Farringtons without reservation.
