We asked Rob to maintain the garden at our parent's house until sold after they passed. Rob quoted turned up when he said and did a first class job returning as and when required. We live over 100 miles away and Rob just messaged to say he was going and sent pictures when finished. We could not ask for more and cannot recommend these guys highly enough ! I use Darren for general maintenance, hedge trimming and lawn cutting and conditioning. I have a big garden and he has helped to make it manageable for me. He has also made an excellent job of cleaning my block paved drive. Darren always communicates promptly, is flexible with timings and has given me some great advice. I would highly recommend him.

I have wouldn’t want for anyone else to maintain my garden for me. Darren is very professional, good value & never leaves any mess. Communication is very good as to when the gardens will be worked or if any issues why can’t such as weather changes. Never pushy particularly at start or end of season, he will always ask if garden needs a first or last cut. Always happy to do additional one-off jobs as & when or if you need. What more can you ask for.

Absolutely superb service and professionalism from HG Gardening, I can't recommend them highly enough. Punctual, reliable, efficient, excellent attention to detail and extremely good value for money. Please read on for a more detailed review: Our back garden needed a complete renovation. We were wanting a raised patio completely ripping out and having most of the garden on one level, a summerhouse tearing down and removing the flags from underneath, new turf laying, new fencing, a platform sloping down to the garden from the back door and a new porcelain tiled patio area... so a big job. We spoke to a few landscape gardeners and explained our vision for our garden and what we were looking for. Ben at HG Gardening was by far the most enthusiastic that we spoke to and we immediately felt that Ben understood exactly what we were after. Using his experience, sound knowledge and technical expertise he was able to offer advice and provide ideas that we hadn't thought of that we ended up going with (so happy that we did) and he assured us that what we wanted was do-able as he could fit a digger through our garage door to use for the removal of the patio (the biggest part of the job). Ben's quote was also the lowest price that we received, but I was assured that nothing was done on the cheap and only the best quality available materials would be used, as proved to be the case. Ben and his co-workers were extremely punctual, always turned up on-time and didn't stop working the whole time they were here. I can't believe how quickly the job was completed considering the work that needed doing. They were extremely polite, reliable, and efficient. We are absolutely overjoyed with the work that HG Gardening have carried out. Top quality and very high standard. Highly recommend, very polite and professional, good communication. Also, very clean and tidy. We had a large porcelain patio done and boundary wall built up in our garden with wall coping. We love the patio and done to an high standard and our neighbours even commented how great it looks. Very helpful, professional, and tidy. Dave advised a split level for our long sloping, overgrown, and bumpy lawn, provided estimates based on some concerns we had, and completed the work on time. He has transformed our garden from an untidy state to a very neat, usable, and level garden. Dave also tidied up as he went, keeping the patio and driveway clear, and cleaned it up after he wash finished. After the lawn had settled down he came and put the grass seed down. Highly recommend Dave, and we will be contacting him again when we need more help. He always advised of issues and provided us options to choose from.

Graham and his team were excellent. Friendly, hard-working and a great price. The lads turned up early every day and did a fantastic job. Turned our derelict garden into a gorgeous patio and level grass area within a couple of weeks, around 140sqm. Their ideas on how to solve tricky challenges with differing heights and awkward corners were well thought out and their attention to detail was outstanding, they really care about what they do. Thank you Barry and Adam for all your hard graft and thank you Graham for managing everything in the limited time that you had.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Graham for taking my garden work on. From start to finish the lads have being awesome and I'm quite picky with tradesmen but have to say that Tom and Shaun have been brilliant and do work thier socks off and the finish product is awesome. I've had my front lawn taken up, cultivated and returfed and the back garden fence has been pulled down and a new one put up. The lads were punctual, reliable, friendly and very knowledgeable. Mick has been a pleasure to work with throughout the process. We came to him following a recommendation from a friend, to ask if he could help us come up with an overall design for our large back garden that we would be able to complete in sections as time and budget allowed. Our back garden was in desperate need of a makeover. It was tired looking and shabby. I decided it was time for a change and stumbled across Mick and I’m extremely glad I did. The entire process from design to completion has been excellent. To begin with, Mick provided us with several designs. The final design was an amalgamation of our favourite features from each design. He project managed the whole thing and was on site every day overseeing everything. This was so important as it meant we could go about our days without worry. Mick only works with the finest workmen to bring his designs to life and we are completely in love with our garden. Where we rarely ventured out into it before, we haven’t been out of it since it was finished. Mick has also recommended an electrician to install lighting and a gardener to add some planting. We cannot recommend him highly enough and I suggest you contact him as quickly as possible to utilise his talents.

MP Landscape & Garden Design did a great Garden make over for us which we were very pleased with. We have had many years enjoying our outdoor living space. Michael and the team listen to your requirements and come up with excellent designs. Doing the project was again faultless and timely. From the moment I met Shaun it was obvious his passion was garden design. I explained what I would like from my mud pit, weed filled garden and Shaun got to work with a design. He totally took on board what I wanted and came back with a design that ticked all the boxes and the finished garden is a space that we can all enjoy now! Shaun worked on a large garden project for us and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The project included a large dig-out, building new sleeper walls, installing decking, laying a porcelain tile patio, building new steps and a path, prepping and laying artificial grass, moving a garden shed, planting and much more. We had a blank canvas to start with and a strong idea of what we wanted to achieve. We were not only looking for a cost effective way to get the job done but also looking someone we could work through our ideas with to create a space that was sleek, modern and great for entertaining. We shopped around and got quotes from several landscapers. Shaun’s quote was the best value and his costs were transparent - he kindly itemised the costs for me as well so I knew it wasn’t just a figure pulled out of thin air like some garden quotes can be. Cost aside, what we really liked about Shaun after first meeting him was his upfront, honest and passionate approach to his work which you can see straight away. Shaun was fantastic to work with from day one. He kept us informed every step of the way and his daily updates meant we were always comfortable and reassured with each stage of the work. He understood our brief and was focused on making sure every detail was to our liking. Shaun clearly isn’t just a landscaper and has a real passion for gardens. His knowledge and experience in garden design and planting was especially helpful in helping us decide on a whole range of details during our project. You can tell that Shaun really believes in the importance of outdoor spaces and we had numerous conversations during the project about layout, storage, heating options, materials, lighting, planting, the list goes on! Shaun isn’t the type to rush through things so he can move onto the next job - His willingness and energy to push to make our space the best it could be was there right upto the final day of work. The finished garden is everything we hoped for and more. It’s a complete transformation of the space that has wowed and shocked our family and friends! It has a balance and a continuity of materials, textures and themes that give it a real sense of atmosphere and mood - particularly at dusk. Our garden was badly in need of a makeover. A sloping and uneven lawn, overgrown shrubs, ugly fencing, lack of privacy and impractical patio were some of issues we wanted to address. At our first meeting with Shaun and Callum they took time to really understand our issues and what we wanted to achieve. Unsurprisingly, the design they produced delivered almost exactly what we were looking for and we had no hesitation in engaging them to carry out the work. Sadly, Shaun passed away before the work started and apart from being very upset at his loss we were concerned about the impact this would have on the project. However, Callum calmly reassured us that he and Kieran (his assistant) would be able to complete the work. We decided to go ahead and in just over a month they removed overgrown shrubs, scraped the existing lawn, levelled the ground and laid a new lawn, built a block retaining wall and a raised border edged with sleepers. They also built steps and a sleeper wall and relaid a gravel path. They also moved shrubs around and planted the borders with new trees and shrubs to provide privacy and colour throughout the seasons. During the build we found them to be hardworking, reliable, collaborative, imaginative and personable. They also demostrated their flexibility by allowing our builder to lay our new patio before they had finished their part of the project. We are delighted with our new garden and highly recommend Callum and Kieran for similar garden projects.
