We had recently had our house extended, the original flags were laid round the extension but we wanted the patio area extending, plus the existing lawn retaining, Richard suggested this was done with sleepers. Richard was easy to deal with and we are very pleased with the end result.

We could not be happier with the work that Richard and Ben have done for us. They have transformed our garden from a muddy bog to a beautiful family garden. The recommendations and advise Richard gave at quote stage were both honest and practical within our budget. The whole team was incredibly professional from Start to finish. Becky’s communication from the office was brilliant, just what you need to make sure the project goes as planned. I would not hesitate to recommend them to Friends, Family and colleagues in exactly the same way that they were recommended to us. We are really pleased with our new patio. Rob and his team did a great job from helping us with our design ideas through to completion of the job on time and accurate to the initial quote . He and his team were hard working, efficient and tidy. We also appreciated that he had old stone slabs to use for our job in keeping with the look of our house and existing stone path. He also laid us a base for our new green house at short notice . We would definitely recommend RS landscaping and are glad we chose this company .

We used RS Groundworks to redesign and landscape our back garden. This involved construction of a retaining wall, earthworks, patio relaying/extension and turf installation, amongst other things. We agreed a date for the work to take place and Rob turned up on time with all the equipment. We had some last minute changes to the design which Rob was happy to accommodate, he also gave us advise on how to make the best use of some of the spaces in our garden. We were really pleased with the quality and consistency throughout and the finished work was exactly what we wanted. We will definitely be using RS Groundworks again and can't recommend highly enough.

Thankyou for an absolutely brilliant job, especially so with it being just before Christmas. After the last storms, my complete back garden fence had come down blocking the park snicket behind my house which a lot of people use this snicket as a short cut to park. Not only did Rob come highly recommended but him and his team worked hard and even managed to finish a day before the due finishing date, proper grafters. They were there first thing and worked through each day until just before dark. The finished job was exactly what I wanted, Thankyou again and Merry Christmas 🎄

We recently had a really bad experience with a landscaper who we paid a lot of money to and who left the project in a mess. Fortunately we had kept some of the fee back when we sacked him and then went out to find someone to put everything right. Enter RS Groundworks! I spoke to Rob and explained the situation and he came to look within a couple of days. He made a plan, fully explained it, and then told is his fees. We knew he had other work on and would fit us in when he could, but within a couple of weeks he came along and got on with the job. It's now all done and looking like we wanted it in the first place. Rob is very hard working, punctual, professional and experienced. His fees were fair. Our only regret was not getting Rob in the first place! (We actually tried)!! I would thoroughly recommend RS Groundworks.

Amazing job by Rob at our place over the last 3 weeks. He and Ash worked tirelessly on our patio and driveway and have completely transformed our outdoor space. Rob was great from the minute we spoke to him - he had some cracking ideas which was great as we weren’t really sure what we wanted. Some contractors want to know exact details of what work needs doing right from the start but Rob worked flexibly with us throughout to take into account our changing priorities. Can’t speak highly enough of Rob - he has a mantra of seeing a job through to the end which was great as we weren’t really sure what “the end” should look like. We’ll be using RS Groundworks again in the future without a doubt - quality job and very reasonably priced. Thanks again Stuart

Mark and his team have recently completed a total landscaping of our front and back gardens, converting what was a small lawn and large bushes in the front garden to a very attractive rockery. The back garden has been transformed from a tired sloping lawn into a lovely large porcelain tiled sitting and relaxing area. In addition to this he has made a superb planter which we look forward to planting very soon. We asked for some suggestions and ideas on layout and design and Mark suggested what we thought was a great scheme. He and his team worked hard through some very poor weather conditions to create us what we consider an excellent scheme to a very high standard. If any issues arose he was always able to come up with a good alternative and happily incorporated it. We happily recommend him and his team to anyone.

Mark has recently completed a large project in our garden and has done a fantastic job. He was happy to come and quote, took the time to discuss options and was transparent about how busy he was this year and started when he said he would. Mark takes real pride in his work and is not afraid to graft in any weather and take the time needed to complete the job to a high standard. We had a mix of indian paving (4 size Slabs and Setts), edging, yorkstone wall planters, steps and a sleeper planter built, all done to a professional standard using quality materials There are many, many "landscaping" outfits out there (where quotes may vary wildly) but be in no doubt Mark has the contacts, experience and knowledge to complete work efficiently and to a high standard.

We called Darren up for a quote , he popped down straight away as he was nearby. We wanted some privet cutting and some bushes. We are selling our house so needed garden tidying up.He was able to do the job immediately which was lucky for us.He did a brilliant job. Tidied up the garden for us. Did some weeding too . Mark and his team have looked after our garden for a few years now. Mark is reliable, hardworking, knowledgeable and trustworthy. No job is too big or too small. He keeps our leylandii in check and has improved our front lawn no end. He also looks after my father-in-law's garden. We have been delighted with Mark and his team in transforming our ‘new build’ garden into something mature and quite beautiful. Having been very happy with the creation of raised beds and the planting to front and side borders we asked Mark to come up with a plan to discuss for our very large rear border already housing 8 fully mature trees. “A walk in the Woods’ was an inspired design with steel moon gates, seating areas, pathways, water features and an outstanding planting design. We couldn’t be happier. The icing on the cake was just how personable and professional Mark, Jackie and Craig were. It was as if they’ve were doing their own garden !

I contacted Mark's Garden Services to prune back some Leylandii trees which had gone wild. Mark and his Team arrived early one morning, no messing about, they were right in there to tackle the job. All the time they were professional, kept tidying up as they went along and left the area looking very neat, tidy and above all a nice clean cut hedge.
