Trees pruned todsy by an excellent team. Pleasant and tidy workers and a good price qoted. Wpuld highly recommend them.

Fantastic quality plants from Yorkshire growers, that will happily thrive in our Northern weather. You might be able to buy cheaper at Tesco or B&Q, but those plants are mostly grown in places like the Netherlands, whereas you know the money you spend is going to a local business, with suppliers in the county. The owners also provide tips on planting, pruning etc that I've found really helpful.

Great selection of shrubs and bedding. The guys are knowledgeable and the prices are good. It's a nursery so plants, no cafe, no supermarket. And it's better for that.

Shaun worked on a large garden project for us and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The project included a large dig-out, building new sleeper walls, installing decking, laying a porcelain tile patio, building new steps and a path, prepping and laying artificial grass, moving a garden shed, planting and much more. We had a blank canvas to start with and a strong idea of what we wanted to achieve. We were not only looking for a cost effective way to get the job done but also looking someone we could work through our ideas with to create a space that was sleek, modern and great for entertaining. We shopped around and got quotes from several landscapers. Shaun’s quote was the best value and his costs were transparent - he kindly itemised the costs for me as well so I knew it wasn’t just a figure pulled out of thin air like some garden quotes can be. Cost aside, what we really liked about Shaun after first meeting him was his upfront, honest and passionate approach to his work which you can see straight away. Shaun was fantastic to work with from day one. He kept us informed every step of the way and his daily updates meant we were always comfortable and reassured with each stage of the work. He understood our brief and was focused on making sure every detail was to our liking. Shaun clearly isn’t just a landscaper and has a real passion for gardens. His knowledge and experience in garden design and planting was especially helpful in helping us decide on a whole range of details during our project. You can tell that Shaun really believes in the importance of outdoor spaces and we had numerous conversations during the project about layout, storage, heating options, materials, lighting, planting, the list goes on! Shaun isn’t the type to rush through things so he can move onto the next job - His willingness and energy to push to make our space the best it could be was there right upto the final day of work. The finished garden is everything we hoped for and more. It’s a complete transformation of the space that has wowed and shocked our family and friends! It’s hard to explain or convey with photos the feel of the completed space. It has a balance and a continuity of materials, textures and themes that give it a real sense of atmosphere and mood - particularly at dusk. From the moment I met Shaun it was obvious his passion was garden design. I explained what I would like from my mud pit, weed filled garden and Shaun got to work with a design. He totally took on board what I wanted and came back with a design that ticked all the boxes and the finished garden is a space that we can all enjoy now! Our garden was badly in need of a makeover. A sloping and uneven lawn, overgrown shrubs, ugly fencing, lack of privacy and impractical patio were some of issues we wanted to address. At our first meeting with Shaun and Callum they took time to really understand our issues and what we wanted to achieve. Unsurprisingly, the design they produced delivered almost exactly what we were looking for and we had no hesitation in engaging them to carry out the work. Sadly, Shaun passed away before the work started and apart from being very upset at his loss we were concerned about the impact this would have on the project. However, Callum calmly reassured us that he and Kieran (his assistant) would be able to complete the work. We decided to go ahead and in just over a month they removed overgrown shrubs, scraped the existing lawn, levelled the ground and laid a new lawn, built a block retaining wall and a raised border edged with sleepers. They also built steps and a sleeper wall and relaid a gravel path. They also moved shrubs around and planted the borders with new trees and shrubs to provide privacy and colour throughout the seasons. During the build we found them to be hardworking, reliable, collaborative, imaginative and personable. They also demostrated their flexibility by allowing our builder to lay our new patio before they had finished their part of the project. We are delighted with our new garden and highly recommend Callum and Kieran for similar garden projects.

From initial visit to completion they have been superb. Mark and the entire team were helpful and the standard of work was exceptional special mention to Adi and Liam who were on-site every day and kept us informed and offered advice and worked tirelessly to ensure the end result was perfect. Mark and his team, Ben and Charlie transformed my overgrown and untidy garden in to a beautiful and relaxing garden. My wife, Heather was the gardener with the green fingers in our household but unfortunately she had a stroke in July 2023 and we lost her in August. The garden had been left unattended and neglected. I needed an easy to maintain garden. I discussed my requirements with Mark and he came up with the plan of my new garden. We had quite a large project with our front garden being on a slope. Mark came and we discussed the options and what could be achieved, Mark then went away did drawings and costed the project. When we gave the go ahead Mark gave us a date to start. The lads arrived prompt on that date and have been a credit to Mark the project took around 12 weeks and all the team are friendly and hard working we had no hidden extras the price Mark quoted never changed other than a couple of things we added as we went along (glass balustrade). Exceptional service by Mark and his team. After getting various quotes some which were ridiculous amount… I came across Springfield website they were local and Mark attended and quoted a very reasonable price. The day before the work was carried out, Mark attended again and he went through what was expected on the following day, ensuring he met our expectation. Mark and his team def went above our expectation and how quick they were to get everything done within a hour than a whole day as others had quoted. They also tidied up everything and took all the waste at no extra cost. Thank you so much for making our garden safe for our little one.

Mark and his team did a fantastic job in removing the over grown conifers in my back garden . They turned up as planned and carried out the work efficiently and with minimal disruption. They then clean up afterwards before leaving . Would definitely use them again .

I needed a tree service for my rented property in Yorkshire while living in Wales. Most of the tree surgeons recommended to me turned away as soon as they heard the tree was under a Tree Preservation Order, or told me I had to get the permission myself. This was very challenging, as the application required an expert opinion, and I almost gave up. Then, I found Springfield Tree Services through a Google search and decided to give it one last try. When I explained the situation to Mark, the first thing he said was, "No problem!" He assured me that he could handle the application process with the council and arrange the meeting with the preservation officer to assess the tree. I was relieved. I even asked if I needed to drive up to the property, but Mark insisted it wasn't necessary, given how far I was, and offered to send photos instead. Mark kept me updated throughout the entire process, sending photos before, during, and after the work was done. He made everything so easy, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Mick and his team are a fantastic gardening and landscaping company. They were not only approachable and great with the kids, who were overly exited to have builders in, but also provided an affordable service while maintaining a high standard of work. Mick and the team designed and implemented a much needed update to our garden. Our lawn was more moss and weeds than grass and the area behind the garage was an unused wilderness. The team tamed the wilderness and replaced the grass with artificial grass and smart decking. We appreciated the friendly professional approach from the team and was very comfortable trusting them with our garden update.
