We found PGS online & rang to ask if it was possible to cut our very overgrown lawn & do some other gardening work. We have just moved to a bungalow & unfortunately the completion took longer than we expectd, hence the lawn was exremely long & too difficult for us to deal with. Saif, from PGS, came to see us & said he would come within the week to cut the grass & then see what was required to be done later. As it rained every day for the following week he was unable to come, but true to his word he arrived yeserday & strimmed, raked,, strimmed & raked again & then mowed the lawn. He said he would leave us with a striped lawn but my husband didn't believe him, but a striped lawn is what we've got! It looks wonderful. We cannot recommend Saif highly enough. He is a very hard working, friendly & polite young man & we shall certainly be having him again very soon to carry out planting, etc.

Massively impressed. Saif came out to take a look at the space (new build garden, so full of rocks and rubbish, whilst being entirely uneven) and to show me some options/ideas. He took measurements and gave me a quote the same day. The work was efficient, the entire team were extremely professional, and best of all, the garden is exactly what I was looking for! Even after the job has been done, they're coming back to do the first cut of the turf to make sure that it has properly bedded in. When we do the front garden in a couple of years, I'll definitely be contacting PGS again.

Our gardens were very overgrown with hedges, shrubs, fruit trees and conifers needing trimming/pruning. An excellent job was carried out and all cuttings were taken away leaving everywhere neat and tidy. All done quickly and at a good price. Would recommend and will be returning customers.

After a season of neglect my garden was overgrown & desperately in need of attention. Ben replied promptly, they arrived at the arranged time as well. Job was carried out to a high standard. A job that would have taken me days, was completed in a few hours. Pruning, few feet of the hedge, a boundary of trees all cut back, weeding, edges reformed & tidying. All waste taken away. Now the garden looks amazing.

Wow my garden was like a forest before. The work green gardens have done to transform my garden is amazing! Very responsive, very polite and professional did everything I asked for. No problems at all and very clean with their work. All friendly too but the job is immaculate and would 100% recommend to anyone. So many companies let me down but these lot came out valued and assessed everything and gave such a fair price compared to others.

I can not praise Dean enough, he has recently helped me out clearing out a very overgrown area and would not accept any payment for it. The quality of the work that he provides is always first class. We had an absolutely brilliant experience working with the FirstLight team. After being disappointed by several companies Neal really took on board what we wanted. The FirstLight team were great from start to finish. We wanted a patio doing after having some work done on the house - Neal was really helpful with ideas, designs and advising on ways to keep to budget. All of the team were extremely professional and friendly. Most importantly we’ve been really impressed with the quality of their work. It has been finished to a really high standard. They kept the site as tidy as possible. We were also away on holiday for some of the work and the team kept us updated with pictures and were always available to chat to if needed. FirstlightLandscaping first built our raised decking 14 years ago so when it needed replacing we didn’t hestitate to contact them again. As before Liam, Neal & their team were so respectful & professional & did a fantastic job replacing our wooden decking for composite. There were a few hiccups with the delivery of materials from a third party but we were kept informed all the time. FirstLight Landscaping are a good company to work with when you're looking for a competent landscaping company that can project manage really well. We were looking to refresh the garden, as how we use the space is functionally different than the previous owners of our home. With FLL's designs (via Neal), we were able to discuss and alter them as often as we needed. When we eventually got to the work actually beginning (on Liam's side), their team were really flexible, and allowed us to add or change things in the design when we realised other needs for the space. Also, Ian and Rich, who worked on-site for the duration of the project, were lovely people who did great work, and knew a lot from their own experience, that helped inform when there were potentially better design choices. Overall, FLL are a trustworthy company, and I'd be happy to use their services again if the chance came up.

We had James and Murphy in for two weeks (with Liam supervising) putting in some raised decking in the back garden. They were extremely considerate of us and our neighbours at all times, and kept us fully informed about the progress of the work, even when we didn't ask. Our garden has restricted access so some of the aspects of deliveries were complicated but this was handled seamlessly. Their quality of work is very good and they involved us when decisions needed to be made, giving advice but leaving it ultimately up to us. They left the space incredibly tidy when they left, and it looks like we have a completely new garden! They were one of the best contractor teams we've had working on the house.

Absolutely amazed at the job done. Dedicated to getting the work done rain or shine, down to earth and very lovely as a person. My garden has been quite neglected due to difficult circumstances but Paul came in and transformed it from the beginning of the Amazon to somewhere I’m excited for my children to play in the summer. If I could give 6 stars I would. I cannot recommend Paul highly enough, and I will be definitely hiring him again.
