We worked with Melissa in creating a vision for our new garden. Her knowledge and experience were very helpful in creating a design and a planting plan that we could begin to create over time. At all times she was efficient and communicative. She understood our hopes and our budget in arriving at the finished garden plan which we are excited to take forward.

We really didn't know what to do with our small rear garden attached to a new build house. After reviewing numerous websites we chose MMGD. Initially we asked Melissa to provide a One Off Consultation /Garden Inspiration service. The meetings helped us to think through & define what we were were looking to achieve. Melissa worked closely with us to develop the ideas further via the Flash Planting Service. It was Melissa's vision & creativity that ensured our objective of an attractive, colourful garden providing a haven for wildlife, was delivered. We love the end result. Very good value for money.

Melissa did a very good job for us and we were very happy with the result. Melissa was diligent, very efficient and kept us well informed on her plans and progress,especially as the redesigning of our front garden was done during the pandemic when communication was difficult.We asked for all year colour and interest. We could not be happier with the work that Richard and Ben have done for us. They have transformed our garden from a muddy bog to a beautiful family garden. The recommendations and advise Richard gave at quote stage were both honest and practical within our budget. The whole team was incredibly professional from Start to finish. Becky’s communication from the office was brilliant, just what you need to make sure the project goes as planned. We had recently had our house extended, the original flags were laid round the extension but we wanted the patio area extending, plus the existing lawn retaining, Richard suggested this was done with sleepers. Richard was easy to deal with and we are very pleased with the end result.

Tom and the lads did a great job removing our huge hedges and replacing them with a feather edge fence. Always turned up on time and were informative of all works throughout the job. Even the unexpected extras were no trouble. Would 100% recommend!

I am vary happy with the work Tom completed to install a fence in my garden. Tom prepped and installed the fence efficiently and to a high standard. He removed all waste materials as agreed I would definitely recommend for garden and fence work.

Second job Tom has done for us. Previous job was to remove and re concrete some large concrete fence posts that had moved after 15 years. This job a car ran into our fence, broke the fence panel snapped the concrete post and gravel board. Tom came out same day to look and completed the work the following week. Great job done in a quick timeframe and a good price.

I wanted to convert my back garden to incorporate a single floor extension and a courtyard garden in the other half. Helen visited for a garden planning day and produced a very stylish design, which I has completely transformed the space. It's a great feeling every time I look at the garden through extension bifold doors - the icing on the cake of this development, which in all respects has exceeded my expectations. We have worked with Helen Taylor & Associates for the past 3 years. We are a local community group, and now a Registered Charity ( No. 1189048) , which was set up in 2018 to help maintain and improve the parks which abut the River Wharfe in Ilkley. We had lots of ideas and plans about what we needed to do to achieve this goal. We can honestly say that without Helen and her colleagues, who give their professional time pro bono, it would have been much more difficult for us to achieve the amazing transformation in the parks areas over the last 4 years. They helped us prepare a Master Plan and have supported us with Planting Schemes and practical help with new flowerbeds and the regeneration of other areas of the park. We wanted our garden redesigned to make better use of it, but had little idea what to expect. Helen took us carefully through each stage of the design process from initial ideas to planting, taking time to listen and discuss options. There was even a visit to the nursery to help select plants. We are glad that we took the plunge to have a garden redesign - it was an enjoyable process. Rachel was the perfect answer to our needs, and helped us in so many ways from initial advice, through to the excellent garden plan, then plant suggestions and even helping dig where they were to go! She offered support during the time the contractors were working on the landscaping, making sure the work was to the plan and she picked up several issues and was able to put them on the right track before they became larger problems. We recently used Thomas Moore Landcapes for an overhaul of our front garden and we are so happy with how it has turned out.
