The friendliest golf club I've ever been to. None of the stuffiness you can sometimes get with golf clubs. When I arrived on my own, at least two people asked if I wanted any company (I didn't as I was waiting for someone, but lovely to be asked). The most amazing views whilst playing the course.

Course was in excellent condition as we played our seniors match . I opted for the pepperoni pizza 🍕 which was fantastic. Staff were all very welcoming

Very nice course, fairly flat until 15th ha then it's all down then up, but a really nice course! Will definitely be back in summer

Played in senior open Sept '21. Warm welcome and friendly service in the bar. Enjoyed coffee & obligatory bacon/egg/sausage baps which were very good & reasonably priced. Course presented well, tricky sloping greens. A really good day!

Enjoyed an excellent day at the Senior mens open at Ilkley. Great facilities and a cracking course (and long) be careful of that River Wharfe!

Came on the Captain's away day from Leyland GC - Great course, very good condition, good food+drink in the clubhouse. Definitely coming back.

A gem of a course which is always in great condition. We've only ever played it at the twilight rate because we couldn't afford to play at peak times. The course has always been quiet when we've played. The only part I've not enjoyed is the drive to the course - your clutch might get tested. From Manchester, it's taken us nearly an hour and a half to get to.

Beautiful course. Gorgeous clubhouse and outstanding ladies locker room and facilities. Friendly clubhouse. Good value. Would be good to offer plant based alternative to dairy milk, but otherwise amazing on all counts.

Ben Rhydding GC. 9Hole course. Twice round some tees different on 2nd loop. We booked on to this course using golf now, adding it onto a golf trip . My golf mate suggested it as he had seen it in a quirky golf courses article somewhere. When we arrived, we found out that there had been an error on the booking system, and we were booked right in the middle of a shot gun start competition. The members were very friendly and understanding, and we slipped in teeing off a little early. It did not affect our golf, and we appreciated the friendly members playing around us. The course is definitely quirky and hilly. Lots of blind tee shots, so your first loop is an adventure and learning curve. The course is a little tricky to navigate as well. we took a wrong turn at one point but quickly got back on track. The greens are good, and general playing conditions are good. I think the course is generally maintained by volunteers ( not sure ). But for the price, it's well worth it. I would definitely come and play again if an opportunity arises.

You won’t get a better setting for a golf club than this, outstanding! Membership is £725 a year, and the club is welcoming and a fun place to be! If you can play this tricky course, you can play anywhere!!
