This course is beautiful with great history. Nathan, the pro was so kind, even after running late because our rental car broke down. We didn’t specify that we needed rental clubs in the booking and he still ran to the basement and put some together while his other 2 sets were booked out already. I couldn’t recommend this beautiful course more. It’s unique features as an Alister McKenzie course brings holes that crossover like a plane runway. You can play the original amen corner. This is a must play at a great price!

The best golf course in the area, and one of the best in Yorkshire. A beautiful hidden gem, with a great variety of holes, and true greens. Perfect for golfers of all abilities and ages.

Had a great day on the Underpin charity day. Shipley golf course was in fantastic condition. Staff, food atmosphere amazing.

Superb 12 hole course. It’s quite a challenging and rather characterful course. It was soggy in some places but it was in better condition than both Wike and Rudding. I’m actually surprised how well the greens have held up in the winter we’ve just had (2023/24). The tee boxes and fairways were pure, even in March! You can tell it’s well looked after. I’m looking forward to going back in better weather, it’ll be fantastic!

Lovely golf course. I 100% recommend a visit. I'd never played before but everyone was super welcoming and helpful. The course was absolutely stunning and beautifully maintained.

Called in today for lunch. Food was very tasty. Friendly staff. Good price would definitely recommend a visit.

Fab Sunday dinner, roast lamb was perfect. Fresh fruit meringue nest was tasty. Lovely bar staff and kitchen staff, nothing is too much trouble.

Called in this morning with family for breakfast loved it, absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be back again

Booked an Afternoon Tea party for my mum's 90th Birthday, it was lovely. The food was delicious and so beautifully presented on pretty vintage china. We were made to feel so welcome and looked after so well. Mum was really happy. Shout out to Trysha, the catering staff and bar staff. Would highly recommend this venue to all.

My son, my sister in law and I would just like to thank Dave the manager at Northcliffe golf club and his fantastic team Vicky and Verity for looking after us so well after the recent passing of my husband. We held the funeral tea there and Dave, Vicky and Verity couldn’t do enough to support us which we all found very comforting. The venue was beautiful and the food outstanding. Great setting, beautiful course, very well laid out and challenging. Challenging opening hole and one of the best finishing holes I've played. The 18th is quite special. We'll done to your grounds staff to present such a lovely course. Staff very friendly, and members are also helpful and friendly. Bar food quality is excellent. I would have given 5 stars, but for.... we played on beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon, our Tee was after their members competition, we were nearly finished when we met a four ball and one member was dresses in 3/4 length trousers, round neck leasure T-shirt and to top it all Open toe sandals, no socks....... unbelievable. What's that about? It's totally disrespectful. I've played in hotter condition and hotter countries and have never seen a player dress like that before

Going to Northcliffe Pro Shop is a brilliant experience - Matt is attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. We talked about what I was looking for and he gave me helpful advice, and let me test different clubs, without any pressure. It felt like a really personal experience and I could tell he genuinely wanted to make sure I found the right fit. The shop itself has a great selection, with plenty of offers, and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect place if you're in the market for golf gear either for yourself or as a gift for a loved one. I highly recommend stopping by and asking for Matt. You won’t be disappointed!

Great golf course. Some stunning holes. Very picturesque. Challenging but great fun. Will certainly be back. Staff in the Club House were extremely friendly & did everything they could to make our Charity Golf Day go really well.

Only visited to get my Powakaddy repaired. David was very pleasant and efficient. The motor was changed in a matter of minutes. Great service. I have played the course before and it's a very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend

I mean I love this place I’m a new member and I can’t believe how nice it is and the driving range is free I absolutely love this place update y’all one of my family members had a slight car crash and without hesitation one of the staff got out and helped her calm down checked she was okay and then came back later before my parents arrived and helped her again and guess what it wasn’t even near the golf club and he didn’t know I was related to the person and he still helped

Very well kept course and a real challenge. The greens were quick and you need to be an expert putter to score low. Club house is a mix of traditional and modern with a lovely patio to enjoy the views over the valley. Will return as thoroughly enjoyed the round.

Attended for a 70th birthday with ~30 people, had a delicious 3 course dinner of arancini, chicken with vegetables and sticky toffee pudding. All were delicious. Red and white wine on table also very high qualitg. Private room with view out over course. Big car park. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff. Really enjoyed it and would recommend for a special occasion large group booking. Golf course looked good, which I hope to come back and play

Very tricky to get to, as ,its narrow country lanes . I went through the day & the views are spectacular.Dont think I'd like to go in the dark ! I went to a child's 1st birthday . The place itself is lovely & the buffet was delicious. The staff are very friendly & attentive. I ordered a Slimline tonic , priced at £2.50 , I thought was a bit steep! I thought Golf clubs were subsidised...yikes..Needless to say , I only had the one drink.

A little tucked away gem of a course this. £10 a round is great value, course is cared for, members seem very friendly, club house bar / terrace is very nicely done. Only a par 66 but still a challenging course which favours accuracy. Been back a good few times now. Only downside is it's a 9 hole course and quite 'up hill and down valley', hence not 5 stars but a strong 4 stars and defo worth a visit.

What an amazing wedding we had at Headley! The venue looked stunning, the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Richard and all the team were fabulous and went above and beyond to make sure our day was as special as possible. It exceeded all our expectations. A massive thanks to all for an unforgettable day!

Our wedding day at The Manor on 24th August 2024 was truly unforgettable. The venue exceeded all our expectations. The room was transformed into something more beautiful than we could have ever imagined, and the private garden was perfect for photos, complementing the stunning golf course, which provided the ideal setting for our bride and groom shots. Rebecca and her team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawless. From the many planning meetings, Rebecca was always available, and no request was too much trouble. Nice course and facilities. Only problem is the amount of kids on the driving range. You can be sat around for half an hour waiting for a bay while they mess about due to the sheer number of them. One of them nearly hit another person waiting due to their poor skill level and general lack of care as the ball ricocheted off the side wall, up and then back to the seating area. The numbers of kids needs controlling. Other than that, it's a well kept course with reasonable membership prices. Guest prices are a little on the high side.

Had our wedding here on the 27/04/24 and we had the most incredible day! All of the events coordinators could not have been more helpful with all of our crazy questions! The venue is gorgeous as are the grounds, which made for amazing photos by the lake! The venue was set up just how we imagined, if not better! The Manor worked amazingly with our vendors and everything went smoothly! Have to say a massive thank you to all of the event coordinators! Would 100% recommend for any wedding/event!

I have always had top service when purchasing clubs. Had a putter fitting and never looked back since. Got the Srixon Zx7 irons this may. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now for any golf equipment. Thank you.

I bought a set of golf clubs from the online shop which arrived next day as expected. Unfortunately one of the clubs was faulty and a replacement was arranged and sent out immediately. The same issue happened to a second club and Express Golf offered a full refund and arranged for the set to be collected. The customer service was excellent during this process and despite the clubs being damaged we will definitely use Express Golf again.

Easy to book a round, buy from the shop or book onto the driving range, all from the app. The course is a great ball keeper as the fairways are nice and wide. If your like me and reintroducing yourself back into golf, it's a great course.

An awesome experience at this driving range. Excellent help and assistance from Andy. The systems have been updated so scoring and progress is digital and can be tracked via an app. Overall amazing day out. 100 balls for £8 60 balls for £6 30 balls for £4 Prices for the driving range are reasonable too, I will be trying out the coaching and will write another review.
