Called in for breakfast and a coffee whilst out walking the pooch. Always made to feel welcomed. Great b'fast . They were gearing up for a live music event later today. Lots of activity.

Excellent parkland course with far reaching views.Well maintained challenging greens.

Best course around. Friendly staff and the members very welcoming. If you are local, there is no better club to join.

Great venue for last week's Christmas Fair. The staff were very helpful. They also do a Sunday carvery every couple of weeks which I am very much looking forward to.

Had a great time at a friend's 40th Birthday party here recently. Easy access from the main road with plenty of parking spaces out front. Function room was lovely, will set out and clean and bar service was really quick and friendly (steins and definitely the future). Toilets were lovely and clean and modern. Recommended if you are having a function and need a decent room to have it in with amenities nearby.

Lovely friendly staff, table was set very nicely with hand sanerticer on each table, food cooked perfectly and very tasty. Only thing I'd say was the calamari should of been cut thicker was very thin.

Nice course next to the A1 with a very good clubhouse one of the holes is 712 yards. Good facilities including range, Pro shop, putting green, and clubhouse

My son George had the most amazing Ghost Busters themed 5th party at Styrrup Hall Golf & Country Club. The whole event was so calmly organised thanks to Elizabeth, and Charmaine made the most wonderful and creative decorations. The buffet for adults and children by Beth and her team was delicious! There were so many options, catering for every dietary requirement, and the service was outstanding. It really made my son’s party so stress free, and most importantly great fun for everyone. The room was fantastic. I cannot recommend Styrrup Hall Golf & Country Club enough. Nothing was too much trouble, they were so passionate about what they did. Thank you so much! We had a cracking time at my sons wedding at Cave Castle. The location is stunning and the hotel is just as good. The staff were outstanding and nothing is too much trouble. Laura the wedding planner is outstanding and everything ran smoothly. The barman, Rodney, is a great character and brilliant with kids and adults alike. We took 2 dogs and there were 2 beds and 2 bowls each in our room.

Importantly the first thing I would say to you is I would stay here stay here again, the Castle is a wonderful building and what is even better are the splendid grounds which it is set in,we did find one or two things that weren't quite to our liking but I didn't want to be over critical,it was apparent to both of us,great value for money and we appreciate these must be very difficult time's for you in hospitality, we wish you therefore, the very best and hope to see you again sometime soon.

Love this course. Some Bunkers need topping up. The greenside bunker on the 14th has a thin covering and the ground is solid underneath. My club bounced off the hard surface yesterday (26th July). Minor stuff really.

I enjoyed the course. A fair test of golf. Good greens with generous aprons.

Superb place, greens & fairways are in great shape, well maintained, friendly staff & friendly members. In great shape for this time of year & will definitely be back winter & summer. Cannot wait to test these superb greens in the summer months.

WOW what a track ! First time visiting Sandhill’s and certainly won’t be my last, this is a gem of a course with a superb layout. I particularly enjoyed the challenging greens, majority had some great undulations on and were tricky to read, but I personally like that. The fairways were immaculate as were the greens. Very warm welcome in the pro shop and the food and drink in the clubhouse were also first class. TRY THIS COURSE, thank me later 😎

Course in great condition, greens were very good, pace of play was slow though, tee'd off at 4:15pm on Thursday and didn't finish until 8:30pm, considering it was 28c, way too long.

Played on a Sunday evening, very quiet. Unfortunately didn’t play the full 18 due to losing daylight, but the 11 holes we did play were fantastic, for £20 you can’t go wrong. Course was well maintained, greens were pure, the bunkers actually had sand in them and not concrete like most courses in South Yorkshire. Will definitely be returning to play a full 18. Refreshing to see a course provide actual recycling bins and not just a metal can that’s half burnt out. Sand boxes to repair divots on par 3 tee boxes was a nice touch as well (can’t say many people have used them) but still a nice touch to have and shows the owners do care about the maintenance of the course.

Came with my society and really enjoyed it. Course played really well considering the amount of rain we have had. Greens were true and quick! Only negative is there was no catering at the time. Well worth a visit though. Will be bringing the society back in future.

This is has been my home club for the last 12 yrs or so. Fantastic golf course. Even through this dry spell the greens are some of the best in this area. Friendly staff always makes you feel welcomed to the club Come & try yourself out against the course. You'll love it😃🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️⛳

Fantastic layout in great condition. There are lots of interesting holes that provide a good challenge for all levels of golfers. The greens were best the best we have played this year and we have been to some prestigious courses. It is also set within the grounds of a nature reserve with great views on many holes. Great practice facilities to warm up including a covered driving range and the halfway house was open on Wednesday when we played. Great value at £40 for a top quality round of golf.

This is a fantastic course that is available at a great place for it's quality. I genuinely think it's offering the sort of golf course for a normal price that others around Yorkshire are charging double. It's a great course layout, really enjoyable challenge and nicely set around the lake. It's got a great driving range to warm up on too.

Going to Northcliffe Pro Shop is a brilliant experience - Matt is attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. We talked about what I was looking for and he gave me helpful advice, and let me test different clubs, without any pressure. It felt like a really personal experience and I could tell he genuinely wanted to make sure I found the right fit. The shop itself has a great selection, with plenty of offers, and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect place if you're in the market for golf gear either for yourself or as a gift for a loved one. I highly recommend stopping by and asking for Matt. You won’t be disappointed!

My son, my sister in law and I would just like to thank Dave the manager at Northcliffe golf club and his fantastic team Vicky and Verity for looking after us so well after the recent passing of my husband. We held the funeral tea there and Dave, Vicky and Verity couldn’t do enough to support us which we all found very comforting. The venue was beautiful and the food outstanding. Great setting, beautiful course, very well laid out and challenging. Challenging opening hole and one of the best finishing holes I've played. The 18th is quite special. We'll done to your grounds staff to present such a lovely course. Staff very friendly, and members are also helpful and friendly. Bar food quality is excellent. I would have given 5 stars, but for.... we played on beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon, our Tee was after their members competition, we were nearly finished when we met a four ball and one member was dresses in 3/4 length trousers, round neck leasure T-shirt and to top it all Open toe sandals, no socks....... unbelievable. What's that about? It's totally disrespectful. I've played in hotter condition and hotter countries and have never seen a player dress like that before

Matt is a very pleasant person to deal with and always ready to help you out and make sure you get what suits you and will go back again.

Not been for a while but will be starting again soon. I have played this course for over 35 years and its my favourite 9 hole course by a country mile!

Lovely 9 hole course. Cracking value at £8.20 for juniors. Ample parking, friendly staff. Entrance was tricky to find first time as it isn't in the village. Go around the edge of the village and take the Carcroft road. There is a small country lane that feeds off this. The golf course is the second entrance (the first one is for the Hall).

Excellent value course, well thought out and kept fairways.

A beautifully presented course with superb holes. A great test of fitness and golf.

We held an event at Hatfeild Hall as a witch themed fair. The staff were amazing and helpful. The venue was amazing. We are happy we held our event there.
