Staff/lounge/bar area,, food... including the course well worth a visit

Great venue for last week's Christmas Fair. The staff were very helpful. They also do a Sunday carvery every couple of weeks which I am very much looking forward to.

Excellent parkland course with far reaching views.Well maintained challenging greens.

Called in for breakfast and a coffee whilst out walking the pooch. Always made to feel welcomed. Great b'fast . They were gearing up for a live music event later today. Lots of activity.

Good food nice staff and a lovely Golf course

Came with my society and really enjoyed it. Course played really well considering the amount of rain we have had. Greens were true and quick! Only negative is there was no catering at the time. Well worth a visit though. Will be bringing the society back in future.

WOW what a track ! First time visiting Sandhill’s and certainly won’t be my last, this is a gem of a course with a superb layout. I particularly enjoyed the challenging greens, majority had some great undulations on and were tricky to read, but I personally like that. The fairways were immaculate as were the greens. Very warm welcome in the pro shop and the food and drink in the clubhouse were also first class. TRY THIS COURSE, thank me later 😎

Course in great condition, greens were very good, pace of play was slow though, tee'd off at 4:15pm on Thursday and didn't finish until 8:30pm, considering it was 28c, way too long.

I've been a member here for 4+ years, a great golf course, and the staff and members are always friendly

My son had his wedding here a couple of weeks ago. What a fabulous day. Staff were Marvellous as was the food and venue xx

We held an event at Hatfeild Hall as a witch themed fair. The staff were amazing and helpful. The venue was amazing. We are happy we held our event there.

Lovely golf course - greens are very fast and a change from my usual in Vietnam. Played for 20 gbp and had a lovely pint afterwards outside the clubhouse. I was lucky with the weather beautiful day for October 😄

Fantastic layout in great condition. There are lots of interesting holes that provide a good challenge for all levels of golfers. The greens were best the best we have played this year and we have been to some prestigious courses. It is also set within the grounds of a nature reserve with great views on many holes. Great practice facilities to warm up including a covered driving range and the halfway house was open on Wednesday when we played. Great value at £40 for a top quality round of golf.

This is a fantastic course that is available at a great place for it's quality. I genuinely think it's offering the sort of golf course for a normal price that others around Yorkshire are charging double. It's a great course layout, really enjoyable challenge and nicely set around the lake. It's got a great driving range to warm up on too.

Lovely 9 hole course. Cracking value at £8.20 for juniors. Ample parking, friendly staff. Entrance was tricky to find first time as it isn't in the village. Go around the edge of the village and take the Carcroft road. There is a small country lane that feeds off this. The golf course is the second entrance (the first one is for the Hall).

Not been for a while but will be starting again soon. I have played this course for over 35 years and its my favourite 9 hole course by a country mile!

Superb place, greens & fairways are in great shape, well maintained, friendly staff & friendly members. In great shape for this time of year & will definitely be back winter & summer. Cannot wait to test these superb greens in the summer months.

Love this course. Some Bunkers need topping up. The greenside bunker on the 14th has a thin covering and the ground is solid underneath. My club bounced off the hard surface yesterday (26th July). Minor stuff really.

Cracking course very well looked after. Food was also nice. Would definitely go back.

Went with my dad, uncle and my stepson. Was a nice cheap hour. £6 for 50 balls is definitely a decent price. There's a touchscreen that tells you how far, height and how curved your shot was. The stepson was bragging to everyone that he got a massive 69 yard 😂. Will be going again for sure.

Great stop off for a park bench beer halfway around our dog walk on a sunny day. Reasonable priced beer, really wide selection of types of beer too! Nice little nip in for a pint. Dog friendly also outdoors only. Toilets available. Food available but never ate here. Menu atts. Disabled access doorway.

Visited for the first time today to check out the golf and food set up and loved everything we saw and experienced. Great that cash is accepted, great that you can telephone to book if you prefer that to online reservations. Lovely welcoming atmosphere, helpful staff and very comfortable seating in the clubhouse. Food is generous, good quality and competitively priced. Everyone seemed to be having a lovely time either using the golf range/course or meeting up with friends and family for lunch. Look forward to returning. It's well signposted from the main road.

Food was amazing. Had the Christmas Clucker and it rates as one of the best burgers I've ever had and I eat a lot of burgers. Good service and good foodz with a decent selection of drinks Enjoyed some balls on the driving range too

Gem of a course that is hidden right there in the countryside! Well manicured fairways and greens to PGA standards. Fell in ❤️ with this course straight away I set my feet on it. Well laid out course with interesting holes. Each hole presents its own challenges. The Doglegs and the Par 3s stand out the most. Just like Arnold says...I will be back!

Love this course, it's tucked away nicely in a peaceful part of the world. Every hole has some quirky features, great design of a course, has a fabulous feel and continuity/flow about the whole course.... Brilliant! And it was lashing down, the Greens were still superb..... Played a practice round and tournament round. A historic course with classical holes. Well balanced 9's with sensible elevation changes.

A cracking golf course. Massive greens. Many long par 4's offer up a stiff challenge, but always rewarding. Lovely clubhouse, and tidy pro shop. Made for an excellent MacKenzie double bill with nearby Alwoodley.

Always lovely, nice staff and family feeling.. Has been for years.. Snooker room is cosy! Good tables, beautiful views.. And the golf's good too 😉
