My first visit to Victoria at Shear Style and I will definitely be returning. My hair looks and feels amazing and so much curlier and defined than I ever thought it could be! It really doesnt look like my hair - I never knew I had corkscrew curls! As soon as I stepped in the salon Victoria's manner put me at ease straight away. She explained every step of the process in full , what products she was using and why she was using them, she gave me tips on how to dry my hair. A fantastic experience - thank you!

I cannot recommend Vicky enough! I was struggling so much with my curls after my old hairdresser relocated and thought I would never get them back. Vicky has done such an amazing job on my hair, I have my curls back already only one day after my cut. Very impressed and I will definitely be a returning customer.

I’ve been having my nails done by Zoe for years, I have never been disappointed as Zoe creates amazing nail art and they are also different which I love. I have builder gel which I can not recommend enough as you can grow your nails to the length that you like so you don’t need acrylics and they’re just strengthening your nails. I’ve not broken a nail in such a long time. I also always get compliments on my nails. I also have facials that honestly are the best. Zoe goes above and beyond to provide not only the best facials in the area but also provides ambience so you can relax and destress. Better than any spa Zoe is so updated with the newest treatments and so knowledgeable about the treatments.

I have come here for years now for different treatments, my favourite being builder gel nails. When I started coming my nails were very short and bitten and now I have beautiful nails and a tech who knows just what I like. Very friendly staff and a safe space for me to go. Would highly recommend and would no go anywhere else.

This salon is amazing. Their new beautician Sophie has magic hands. The facial I had was so relaxing I could have laid there for ages.

I arrived at Janet best with the most positive and welcoming attitude! I was booked in with Isla for a wash and blow dry and can say my hair has never felt better. When Isla was washing my hair she did the most amazing massage which made me feel like my hair and actually been washed and not just pampered with. Isla was guided by Leah to what products to use on my thick long hair! Isla reassured me on what the product did for my hair and how to use it! My hair has never felt better. Thankyou!

My first experience at the salon was fantastic. I had a longwinded gabble on the phone whilst booking as my dad was going into hospital. They remember all of this and the first question I was asked was “how is your dad” I was astounded that they remembered! This is the massive positive of using a local family run business! I went in for a cut and layer service and my hair has never felt or looked healthier!! Laila was more than friendly and guided me through what she was doing while also giving me tips on how to better take care of my hair and the products which would cater to my hair type and length, which I found really useful. She was guided by Leah who was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Leah made sure Laila was using the correct techniques as well as checking each step along the way which made me feel confident throughout my appointment.

10/10 experience. First time coming to Janet Bests and can’t thank Leah enough for the time and effort she put into getting the red out of my hair and getting me back to my blonde and black. She fully explained everything she was doing and made me feel super comfortable. This was all done in one day was well.

Vicky is literally the most amazing lady! My eyebrow lamination is always perfect and her room is beautiful and clean! My daughter’s lashes always last longer than ever! She is so knowledgeable and always answers any questions! I have always recommended Vicky to family and friends, and she has never let us down ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Such a lovely lovely lady. I’ve never once had a bad experience. Vicki used to do my lash extensions and they’d last me ages and still look lovely (even after 2 months 🙈). I’ve since had a lash removal and LVL from her and I don’t think I’ll ever look back. They look so amazing all the time. Couldn’t recommend her enough.

I’ve been for my top up and I’m so pleased with the final results of my brows. As Vicky said, it really is a process and I’m so glad I trusted her because I love them. I've been looking for a good hair stylist for ages, finally found one! Dawn did a wonderful cut & blow dry on my hair, she was very knowledgeable about what my hair needed, the whole atmosphere in the salon was friendly & relaxing, made you feel at home, I made another appointment before I left.

Went in for a bridal pin up. Wad made to feel so welcome and relaxed straight away. Absolutely loved my hair and it stayed in all day and night! Thank you ladies

OK, I'm a man, it wasn't me that went to this salon it was my fiancee Irmina, (Mim) for short. She has very long hair and is quite selective where she has it done. This was an emergency visit as her usual place had double booked, and we were due to fly the next day. Fortunately, they were able to fit her in :-) 😀 and thank god they did. Not only did it save me from weeks of well, you can imagine !, but the service, quality, and price absolutely blew her usual place out of the water. She had cut blow and x2 colours, and it was the best she had ever had done. The products and finished put on was amazing 👏 the cut fantastic 👏 👌 and the colours 👌 😀 if your looking for a salon or want to try a new place, then give them ago, I know Mim has already booked 😀 😉 well done Creation 👏

Always friendly staff, they actually listen to you when you telling them how you want your hair, love going for my hair done as Kelly gives the best head massage when washing your hair. Fantastic friendly clean Salon
