Lovely salon. Friendly hairdressers. Really happy with my cut and colour. Would highly recommend.

I recently went in to have my chemo curls sorted... I'm 29 and lost all confidence in myself after cancer changed my whole body. I'm on immunotherapy at the moment and my hair has grown back and they have me a short, young and trendy hair style again to make me feel like normal for the first time in 2 years. They were kind, conciderate and gentle. It meant the world to me. New regular customer!

I booked an appointment to have my hair pinned up for a wedding on Sat 16th April. I am not a regular client at this salon but I had such a lovely experience from start to finish. My hair looked gorgeous and stayed in place all day. I'll definitely be using Sorento Hair Design again. Thank you all 🥰

Literally my most favourite set of nails EVER! 😍 Jenni is an incredibly talented nail artist, her attention to detail is second to none. She takes the time to ensure every set is shaped and finished to perfection 👌🏻 Jenni listens to any special requests and makes my ideas a reality but she's equally happy to use her own design skills to create something wonderful. Her salon is lovely and clean (with the biggest range of colour varnishes I've ever seen!), my appointments have never felt rushed and I've left with beautiful nails every time. Thankyou Jenni ❤️

Can not recommend those lovely lady enough! I'm not one for getting my nails done so I don't have much of a clue what is what but both times I have rocked up with nothing but Pinterest pictures and some babble she has perfectly created what I had in my head. Wonderful person to sit and chat to which is a plus!

been going to maddison since she started at this salon, i could not recommend a lash tech more than i do her, her retention is amazing and she always makes sure that im comfortable whilst getting treatments, she's also started offering facials and my face and skin has never been healthier since getting these treatments done

Been to this salon for months now and I wouldn’t ever be able to go anywhere else. Madison does the nicest lashes I’ve ever had and they seem to last forever. Christy does my hair the best it has ever been done. Both my lashes and hair are the healthiest they’ve ever been even whilst getting treatments regularly. Never had a bad haircut there. Quick and efficient only problem is no appointments so have to wait. Daily newspapers available.

Barber Joe's is my go to barbershop, I don't go anywhere else and haven't ever since I moved to the area 5 years ago. The man who runs the place is the friendliest barber I have ever met and even though I don't go in regularly he always remembers me, talks well to me and goes the extra mile. I take my son there too and have done since he needed his first haircut at rhe age of 1. He's brilliant with him and would always recommend coming here.

This is a totally great barbers. He is so friendly and such a nice person. He is also a great barber, does a superb job,as anyone can tell as he is always busy.

Joe is a great, friendly guy who takes pride in his work. I am yet to find anyone that cuts my hair as good as Barber Joe’s. The wait times can be quite long. But, as impatient as I am, I always come back because he is simply the best.

What can I say about the hairdressing here? Well if you are looking for someone to help you with your a new style or want the very best in Styling advice Then I recommend Gary! I should know what a great hair cut is like as I have worked in hairdressing for 30yrs. He cuts my hair and the style holds in it is so cleverly done.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get my hair coloured/cut at the time due to having to leave Wakefield before my patch test going through. The service I received, nonetheless, was incredible. Had a full consultation over what would look best with my hair. One of the nicest human beings I have ever met. Really really appreciate the advice and the kindness.

my daughter and I went to his hairdressers for the first time. He was friendly and professional, he did a wonderful job of both our hairs. he is a fountain of knowledge about hair and gave us lots of really useful tips. I would highly recommend him and will certainly be back.

Gary did my hair for my wedding day and it stayed up all day, it looked fabulous, he also did my sisters and my bridesmaid. They made our visit there very special, I would highly recommend him. He is so good at everything he does.

I had a Luxury Shellac Pedicure. I have very troublesome dry hard skin but Gillian really sorted it out. Nails looks amazing, gorgeously painted and feet feel great. Gillian is very kind, considerate and really easy to talk to. I felt super comfortable and am very happy with the service. Will be coming back again. Recommend without any reservations.

I visited here for the first time today for shellac nails & an eyebrow wax ahead of attending a wedding tomorrow. I am so happy with both, I can't stop looking at my gorgeous nails. And my eyebrows have never looked so good! Gillian is lovely and welcoming, it was very relaxing and professional. The wax used for me was a beautiful lavender scented one. Really nice, relaxed experience. I will definitely be back! Also Waxville Beauty is in a great location, so close to the station, & plenty of parking. Very reasonable prices too, for top quality care and products.

Bryony was fantastic from start to finish. I have had both the lvl lashes and a tint and wax on my eyebrows and both times was made to feel very comfortable and she explained to me step by step what she was doing. She did a fantastic job x
