We had a cracking time at my sons wedding at Cave Castle. The location is stunning and the hotel is just as good. The staff were outstanding and nothing is too much trouble. Laura the wedding planner is outstanding and everything ran smoothly. The barman, Rodney, is a great character and brilliant with kids and adults alike. We took 2 dogs and there were 2 beds and 2 bowls each in our room.

Importantly the first thing I would say to you is I would stay here stay here again, the Castle is a wonderful building and what is even better are the splendid grounds which it is set in,we did find one or two things that weren't quite to our liking but I didn't want to be over critical,it was apparent to both of us,great value for money and we appreciate these must be very difficult time's for you in hospitality, we wish you therefore, the very best and hope to see you again sometime soon.

Wow! What an AMAZING venue/hotel. The staff go above and beyond while making you feel nothing is any trouble... the facilities are fantastic, the food was beautiful, everywhere you look is a photo opportunity. If you want a break in gorgeous surroundings OR a place to have your big day, this should certainly be at the top of your list... truly a 5 star experience.

Nice course next to the A1 with a very good clubhouse one of the holes is 712 yards. Good facilities including range, Pro shop, putting green, and clubhouse

Lovely friendly staff, table was set very nicely with hand sanerticer on each table, food cooked perfectly and very tasty. Only thing I'd say was the calamari should of been cut thicker was very thin.

Visited yesterday with a Society was made to feel very welcome. Breakfast spot on, course for this time of year very good. Transformation of the club house amazing. All in all a very good day .

My son George had the most amazing Ghost Busters themed 5th party at Styrrup Hall Golf & Country Club. The whole event was so calmly organised thanks to Elizabeth, and Charmaine made the most wonderful and creative decorations. The buffet for adults and children by Beth and her team was delicious! There were so many options, catering for every dietary requirement, and the service was outstanding. It really made my son’s party so stress free, and most importantly great fun for everyone. The room was fantastic. I cannot recommend Styrrup Hall Golf & Country Club enough. Nothing was too much trouble, they were so passionate about what they did. Thank you so much! Had a great time at a friend's 40th Birthday party here recently. Easy access from the main road with plenty of parking spaces out front. Function room was lovely, will set out and clean and bar service was really quick and friendly (steins and definitely the future). Toilets were lovely and clean and modern. Recommended if you are having a function and need a decent room to have it in with amenities nearby.

Nice and quiet and ideal for novice or young golfers. Good range of holes (long and short). Can seem a little expensive if doing 18 but can pay for only 9. Cash only is a bit of a challenge though.

Bunker refurbishment program well on it's way, paths being upgraded & scrub areas extensively cleared throughout the winter, the golf club has a offer of £750 FM & no joining fee. Greens take ball all year round, no matter what club you use.

Course is an undulating challenge. Greens have always been excellent when visited. Pro shop is very helpful. Bar and catering are faultless. Get it booked 👌

Course in decent nick, although it could get seriously boggy when real winter arrives. Gale force winds and crazy amounts of leaves blowing around, but enjoyable nevertheless. Food was good too, recommended.

Been here a few times, not to play golf ( which I have heard is excellent) but just for a drink and some lunch and to enjoy the lovely scenery. The staff are excellent, attentive and hardworking and the bacon sandwich is first class. Attended a funeral here a few years ago and the catering was fabulous. Credit to all who keep it running so smoothly

New to golf and visited a few times now with my 16yr old son. Always a warm welcome, not made to feel uncomfortable with not being a member (yet). Out on the course everyone again is always friendly and understanding of us being new to the game. The course is kept in excellent condition. We both recommend visiting

The course was lovely. Buggies had maps & and yardage, which was great. Buggies stop if you go out of bounds, they should maps & instructions for this Clubhouse & the punts were excellent.

A really good experience at LLGC. Cost of round was reasonable, quality of golf course was very good, pace of play good too and finally, a friendly clubhouse.

Footgolf: great day out playing footgolf. Very good 9 hole course wasn't too wet even though it had rained the night before. Only suggestion is that the path running next to it is fenced off. My ball went down there twice and was a struggle to get back up haha.

We played footgolf and had a great time. 9 holes took just under an hour. Holes beed remarking but you can work out the order. Good value compared to other courses will definitely revisit.

Nice little course for mid to high handicappers, easy on the legs as its relatively flat, the different tee boxes on most holes keeps it interesting on the back 9. The greens were pretty good on the whole especially for the time of year. The only let down was the fairways, there a little bare in places and the odd tee box was a mess but again probably the time of year.

We had our wedding here yesterday and we had the most amazing time as did our guests. Emma and the entire team were an absolute godsend and so bloody good at what they do. Totally stress free and great communication. Emma you made this so easy for us under our personal circumstances and i can’t express how much we all appreciated this.
