I’ve just moved to a new house and am very keen to get stuck in with my garden, but was a bit overwhelmed with ideas and not sure what would be best for my space. I had a really useful 90 minute consultation with Alison and now have a much clearer idea of what I’m aiming for. She gave me great recommendations for plants, trees and materials that would work in the space with my limited budget. Thank you Alison!

Alison has done a great job for us. We moved in to a new home with a expanse of grass from fence to fence and being non-gardeners didn't have a clue what to do. On her first visit we gave Alison a long list of things we like or things we've seen in country gardens and expected she would use a couple of the suggestions, but no, she managed to incorporate every single one! Over the following 12 months Alison has been there to advise on layout, choosing and sourcing the plants and helping with the planting, with the end result being a spectacular garden. In fact, her imaginative layout is almost like having three different gardens depending on where you are sitting.

We used Take Root garden design’s “design in a day service” as our small garden required redesigning after a small extension had been built. Alison’s ideas were a perfect way to transform a large wall and some concrete bases we had struggled to integrate into the garden. Alison design included raised beds, integral seating patio and utility areas, with complementary planting ideas. The design is recently complete using a landscaping company recommended by Alison that I would also highly recommend. The garden is now another room in our home as it has been designed to be viewed from both downstairs rooms. This is the most pleasing aspect it definitely meets the saying of “bringing the outside in”. The colours of the bricks, paving and planting Alison design blends and complements our indoor room, very clever indeed, seeing is believing. If you want a garden which works for you and saves you costly mistakes I would highly recommend Take Root garden design. It is great value for money, with a design Alison produces which works, I would highly recommend this service.

Everyone was so helpful and the lads made a fantastic job of the entire project including dealing with a land drainage issue going back over 20 years to when the house was first built! Landscape Creations have just completed a large renovation project of our large rear garden. The work involved a total redesign which included the preparation and laying of approximately 375 square metres of turf, creating beds containing a mixture of trees, shrubs and a variety of plants. The work also involved the construction of paths and patio steps Ben and his team are very professional, delightful to work with and provide an excellent level of service. Ben, Andrew and the 2 Matts were an absolute pleasure to work with. They provided a very friendly and welcoming service to someone with little to no knowledge of landscaping processes. Ours was a small but messy and unkempt garden and it has been transformed by the work Landscape Creations have done. Ben was really flexible offering suggestions of how to reduce the initial quote costs to bring it to within our budget. And Matt x 2 and Andrew were happy to be flexible and make minor adjustments as the project progressed. Four Seasons carried out work to our Garden earlier this year including new stone walls, stairs, patio and pizza oven area. The job involved some excavation and they were very organised with skips and materials. Matthew, Luke & Liam did a superb job and we’re absolutely thrilled with the result. We liked to be involved with decisions and kept up to date as the job progressed and they patiently discussed ideas and came up with solutions with professionalism and humour. We’ve had work done by other companies previously that wasn’t done right leaving loose flags among other issues but Four Seasons have done the job right and we have no concerns whatsoever over the standard and finish of the work. They are also thoroughly nice people and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or use their services again.

Steve was very quick to respond to my query for new turf. Came out and gave a great (competitive) price. Steve and his team arrived when they said they would and cracked on until the job was finished. Professional advice was given on how to maintain a new lawn. The results are great. Very please with Steve’s work and would recommend to anyone.

Stuart recently converted our very dull front garden into a fantastic outdoor space complete with porcelain tiles, cedar cladding, drystone feature wall and turfed area. We were so thrilled with his immaculate workmanship that we asked him to block pave our drive at the back along with a raised seating area made from our old Yorkshire stone path. The quality is 2nd to none. I am so chuffed. My money well spent. I was going to buy a cheaper shed from elsewhere when my son recommended T Js, I'm glad he did, the other sheds must of been made with fencing planks and would of been on their way to a skip within a few years. The difference in the quality really stands out. I've a small garden so got the 4ftX6ft Apex shed. but due to the quality of both workmanship and materials these could easily be used as an extra room if you get a larger size. A BIG thank you .

We recently had garden maintenance for my mother in laws garden. The garden had become overgrown; the borders and other areas were full of weeds and the bushes/plants/hedges were out of control. It was in need of a lot of love and attention. This is exactly what it received from Huddersfield Gardening Services. Cindy and Jacob worked their magic, putting in a phenomenal amount of effort (Jacob was on his hands and knees for what seemed like hours, pulling out all the weeds). Their efforts resulted in a completely weed free and attractive garden. Well done and many thanks.

They did such a good job for my old girl (mum) at a reasonable price. I was worried about her being ripped off or them not turning up, like some other companies we've used in the past. I need not of worried as they were brilliant. Front/back garden, weeded, hedges trimmed, plants pruned, garden swept, they even swept the outside cellar steps for her. I will definitely be using again & would recommend to others.
