During the autumn Rick dug out a large section of our back garden and using reclaimed Yorkshire stone he flagged it to a very high standard. He also built us two raised beds from reclaimed sleepers. We're really happy with the finished results and are looking forward to planting out some vegetables come the spring!

Richard is a very friendly and helpful man who tries his best to please. His decking solution at ours in Holmfirth has been excellent. There was a hitch and he came straight back to fix it. Everyone encounters problems and it is how you fix them that matters. He has also done a great job on our stone patio. I’d highly recommend Richard.

Marc and Ben, have been conducting a garden overhaul for me in Almondbury. Initially with lots of pruning and clearance to now putting some structure and fencing in. Hard workers and give an honest assessment of the job.

We have used Down to Earth for various jobs over the past 9 years including the removal of several overgrown conifers, removing trees felled in high winds and managing a large sycamore in our garden (thinning and crown lifting at various times). We have always been very impressed and would go nowhere else for tree management services. Charlie is always very responsive and works hard to accommodate customer requirements flexibly within the workload of the team. He gives professional advice, refreshingly even when "do nothing" is the best option! The guys are always friendly, efficient, professional and leave no mess behind. Great all round service and reasonable prices. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I cannot speak highly enough in praise of the outstanding transformational landscaping job that Marek and his team have recently completed on our garden. Before chose Ano landscaping, i invited six different garden landscaping businesses to design and quote on transforming our garden & we chose Ano landscaping due the professional design that Marek produced, along with being super impressed with his professionalism and quote. Marek’s team worked exceptionally hard whilst working on our garden and they were very friendly and accommodating to our tweaks to the design as the work commenced. If you considering which landscaping team to instruct on your garden, you will hugely impressed by Ano landscaping and I give Marek and his team, our 100% recommendation.

What a fantastic team Marek has. We needed some decking taken out and replacing with flagstones. Marek had come highly recommended for a friend whose garden they had done almost from scratch. 3 quotes but Marek was the only one to discuss the damp proof course and water drainage. He was the only one to give a fully laid out written quote. The team worked tirelessly on our garden for a week. They were clean efficient and stickers for detail, but always consulted before carrying out the work. We just can’t recommend Marek and the team highly enough. Other alleged Landscaping Companies would do well to take a leaf out of Ano Landscaping's book and provide their quality of work at their prices! Many thanks Marek & team

We booked ANO Landscaping for overhaul and repair/replacement of our entire rear boundary fencing all while retaining the neighbours garden with sleepers. Marek and his team are very good at what they do, fast quote, good price, and great results. Highly Recommended! We can't thank Marek and team enough for the fantastic job they have done. Having lost our decking/fencing over the winter Marek has completed a total renovation of our deck and fences and given us a secure garden we can finally enjoy again. Rob and the team did an excellent job transforming our very tired and messy back garden. Clearing overgrown garden via difficult access in and out. New decking in composite materials, patio and fence cleaning, new planting. All completed within a week. Reliable, hard working, no issues too much. Thank you once again. We used Take Root garden design’s “design in a day service” as our small garden required redesigning after a small extension had been built. Alison’s ideas were a perfect way to transform a large wall and some concrete bases we had struggled to integrate into the garden. Alison design included raised beds, integral seating patio and utility areas, with complementary planting ideas. The design is recently complete using a landscaping company recommended by Alison that I would also highly recommend. The garden is now another room in our home as it has been designed to be viewed from both downstairs rooms. This is the most pleasing aspect it definitely meets the saying of “bringing the outside in”. The colours of the bricks, paving and planting Alison design blends and complements our indoor room, very clever indeed, seeing is believing. If you want a garden which works for you and saves you costly mistakes I would highly recommend Take Root garden design. It is great value for money, with a design Alison produces which works, I would highly recommend this service.

We asked Alison to help us re-design an area of our long established garden. She was meticulous in her measuring and note taking. A few weeks later we received her idea for our new patio/pergola. We were very excited to see what she had envisioned for us and we were not disappointed. Alison has done a great job for us. We moved in to a new home with a expanse of grass from fence to fence and being non-gardeners didn't have a clue what to do. On her first visit we gave Alison a long list of things we like or things we've seen in country gardens and expected she would use a couple of the suggestions, but no, she managed to incorporate every single one! Over the following 12 months Alison has been there to advise on layout, choosing and sourcing the plants and helping with the planting, with the end result being a spectacular garden. In fact, her imaginative layout is almost like having three different gardens depending on where you are sitting.

From the moment I met Shaun it was obvious his passion was garden design. I explained what I would like from my mud pit, weed filled garden and Shaun got to work with a design. He totally took on board what I wanted and came back with a design that ticked all the boxes and the finished garden is a space that we can all enjoy now! Callum and Kieran delivered exactly what we were wanting in our garden remodel. Both worked with us to come up with practical and aesthetic ideas for our previously rundown garden. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and we’ve never dealt with more polite young men. As well as keeping us informed at every stage of the process, they were always keen to ask how each element of the garden would best suit our needs, whilst remaining realistic in what would both look and work best for our space. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and we couldn’t be happier with our new garden, just in time for Summer!

Our garden was badly in need of a makeover. A sloping and uneven lawn, overgrown shrubs, ugly fencing, lack of privacy and impractical patio were some of issues we wanted to address. At our first meeting with Shaun and Callum they took time to really understand our issues and what we wanted to achieve. Unsurprisingly, the design they produced delivered almost exactly what we were looking for and we had no hesitation in engaging them to carry out the work. Sadly, Shaun passed away before the work started and apart from being very upset at his loss we were concerned about the impact this would have on the project. However, Callum calmly reassured us that he and Kieran (his assistant) would be able to complete the work. We decided to go ahead and in just over a month they removed overgrown shrubs, scraped the existing lawn, levelled the ground and laid a new lawn, built a block retaining wall and a raised border edged with sleepers. They also built steps and a sleeper wall and relaid a gravel path. They also moved shrubs around and planted the borders with new trees and shrubs to provide privacy and colour throughout the seasons. During the build we found them to be hardworking, reliable, collaborative, imaginative and personable. They also demostrated their flexibility by allowing our builder to lay our new patio before they had finished their part of the project. We are delighted with our new garden and highly recommend Callum and Kieran for similar garden projects.

Shaun worked on a large garden project for us and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The project included a large dig-out, building new sleeper walls, installing decking, laying a porcelain tile patio, building new steps and a path, prepping and laying artificial grass, moving a garden shed, planting and much more. We had a blank canvas to start with and a strong idea of what we wanted to achieve. We were not only looking for a cost effective way to get the job done but also looking someone we could work through our ideas with to create a space that was sleek, modern and great for entertaining. We shopped around and got quotes from several landscapers. Shaun’s quote was the best value and his costs were transparent - he kindly itemised the costs for me as well so I knew it wasn’t just a figure pulled out of thin air like some garden quotes can be. Cost aside, what we really liked about Shaun after first meeting him was his upfront, honest and passionate approach to his work which you can see straight away. Shaun was fantastic to work with from day one. He kept us informed every step of the way and his daily updates meant we were always comfortable and reassured with each stage of the work. He understood our brief and was focused on making sure every detail was to our liking. Shaun clearly isn’t just a landscaper and has a real passion for gardens. His knowledge and experience in garden design and planting was especially helpful in helping us decide on a whole range of details during our project. You can tell that Shaun really believes in the importance of outdoor spaces and we had numerous conversations during the project about layout, storage, heating options, materials, lighting, planting, the list goes on! Shaun isn’t the type to rush through things so he can move onto the next job - His willingness and energy to push to make our space the best it could be was there right upto the final day of work. The finished garden is everything we hoped for and more. It’s a complete transformation of the space that has wowed and shocked our family and friends! It’s hard to explain or convey with photos the feel of the completed space. It has a balance and a continuity of materials, textures and themes that give it a real sense of atmosphere and mood - particularly at dusk. It’s a place that we always want to spend time in and feel very lucky to call our own. Thank you Shaun for all your hard work.

Ben, Andrew and the 2 Matts were an absolute pleasure to work with. They provided a very friendly and welcoming service to someone with little to no knowledge of landscaping processes. Ours was a small but messy and unkempt garden and it has been transformed by the work Landscape Creations have done. Ben was really flexible offering suggestions of how to reduce the initial quote costs to bring it to within our budget. And Matt x 2 and Andrew were happy to be flexible and make minor adjustments as the project progressed.
