I can’t recommend Jason and the team at Care Fencing enough They have just completed work in our garden and it’s fantastic. From start to finish nothing has been too much trouble - even when we changed plans and added in extra work (additional gate made on site) The lads were all really professional and had to battle through some bad weather too! Excellent service from start to finish. I contacted Care Fencing at the Weekend to ask for them to pop out and quote me for a small run of Fencing in my back garden. Jason promptly replied and arranged to come out and have a look. I was happy with the received quote and went ahead with the work. Everything went smoothly from the communication to the installation team. We asked Rob to maintain the garden at our parent's house until sold after they passed. Rob quoted turned up when he said and did a first class job returning as and when required. We live over 100 miles away and Rob just messaged to say he was going and sent pictures when finished. We could not ask for more and cannot recommend these guys highly enough ! KB Landscapes was recommended to us by two of my wife’s friends who they have also done some good work for. They completed a make over on our very overgrown and unsightly garden. We had the lawn levelled and re-turfed and some new paving put down, along with a general tidy up. We are very happy with the work Kyle has done and the garden looks great and much more useable. Kyle took on a very big challenge with our garden. Not only work wise but access wise as we are a mid terrace and access round the rear. From the minute we met Toby we knew he would help us get the garden we were looking for. He made many visits to our house to answer any questions we had about what options we had until we were happy with our design. From the initial quote to the last day I cannot fault Toby and the team. Toby was engaged and enthusiastic when discussing ideas and that continued through the whole process. When they arrived they ran through the plan, and every step of the way Toby made sure I was happy with every decision so nothing was a surprise. The attention to detail was incredible, my space is awkward with poor access but they completely transformed the space and had thought of absolutely everything to ensure the quality and longevity of the work. The team were really friendly and put me at ease. It is important to trust people coming into your home and I felt completely comfortable (and actually quite enjoyed) having them around! Middleton Landscaping Services have recently landscaped our back garden, with paving elements running through to the front of the property. The garden is now ready for planting and completion of the project. Toby and Shaun were very professional and friendly from the initial quote through to completion of the project. Middleton Landscaping Services transformed my new build back garden from a sterile, uninteresting slab of turf into a beautiful, stylish and practical garden that will be a pleasure to spend time in. I had planned my design on paper with a couple of patios, large planting beds and a water feature and Toby and Shaun brought it into existence. As a relatively novice gardener I really appreciated that they were always ready to talk things through and they gave me good advice especially with regard to choosing suitable plants, trees and shrubs. They sourced, arranged delivery of, and undertook all of the planting which made it a stress-free experience for me. Throughout the project Toby and Shaun were hard working, cheerful and enthusiastic with a practical problem-solving approach. The porcelain paved patios were laid with an attention to detail that produced a very smart result and the water feature was installed perfectly to stunning effect. The thoughtful planting design will ensure the garden matures into the cottage garden - full of interest, colour and texture - that I envisaged. Our gardens were very overgrown with hedges, shrubs, fruit trees and conifers needing trimming/pruning. An excellent job was carried out and all cuttings were taken away leaving everywhere neat and tidy. All done quickly and at a good price. Would recommend and will be returning customers.

After a season of neglect my garden was overgrown & desperately in need of attention. Ben replied promptly, they arrived at the arranged time as well. Job was carried out to a high standard. A job that would have taken me days, was completed in a few hours. Pruning, few feet of the hedge, a boundary of trees all cut back, weeding, edges reformed & tidying. All waste taken away. Now the garden looks amazing.

We had an absolutely brilliant experience working with the FirstLight team. After being disappointed by several companies Neal really took on board what we wanted. The team (headed up by Dave) were informative throughout, even keeping me up to date while I was away on holiday. Incredibly clean and tidy at the end of each working day. FirstLight Landscaping are a good company to work with when you're looking for a competent landscaping company that can project manage really well. We were looking to refresh the garden, as how we use the space is functionally different than the previous owners of our home. With FLL's designs (via Neal), we were able to discuss and alter them as often as we needed. When we eventually got to the work actually beginning (on Liam's side), their team were really flexible, and allowed us to add or change things in the design when we realised other needs for the space. Also, Ian and Rich, who worked on-site for the duration of the project, were lovely people who did great work, and knew a lot from their own experience, that helped inform when there were potentially better design choices. Overall, FLL are a trustworthy company, and I'd be happy to use their services again if the chance came up.

The FirstLight team were great from start to finish. We wanted a patio doing after having some work done on the house - Neal was really helpful with ideas, designs and advising on ways to keep to budget. All of the team were extremely professional and friendly. Most importantly we’ve been really impressed with the quality of their work. It has been finished to a really high standard. They kept the site as tidy as possible. We were also away on holiday for some of the work and the team kept us updated with pictures and were always available to chat to if needed. We had James and Murphy in for two weeks (with Liam supervising) putting in some raised decking in the back garden. They were extremely considerate of us and our neighbours at all times, and kept us fully informed about the progress of the work, even when we didn't ask. Our garden has restricted access so some of the aspects of deliveries were complicated but this was handled seamlessly. Their quality of work is very good and they involved us when decisions needed to be made, giving advice but leaving it ultimately up to us. They left the space incredibly tidy when they left, and it looks like we have a completely new garden! They were one of the best contractor teams we've had working on the house.

I have a small to medium sized garden on a slope, a long list of things I want to do in the space and a relatively small budget - a triple challenge! Sarah really listened and talked through all my ideas and came up with a brilliant design that incorporates lots of planting space for veg, herbs and flowers, a fruit garden, wildlife pond and seating area, whilst dealing with the slope and somehow making it seem bigger than before! I recently had a One Day garden consultation with Sarah to give me some inspiration and advice on what to do with our garden (we’ve recently moved into a new build house with a fairly large garden area that we wanted to make the best of with some lovely planting while also making it kid friendly for our toddler and find space for a shed!). Sarah spent the morning with me thoroughly going through ideas for types of plants, positioning of plants, garden layout and helped with lots of problem solving too (as the garden space we have has a fairly challenging layout). It was a really enjoyable morning and I liked the collaborative approach that Sarah took, exploring my preferences at every point. From the morning’s session, Sarah produced a wonderfully detailed garden proposal for us and specific instructions for planting. Sarah’s plant knowledge is really impressive, she knew exactly what was best for our soil and the Yorkshire climate. As someone with minimal gardening experience, I now feel like I have a route forwards to creating a beautiful garden whereas before I didn’t know where to begin!! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! I recently had the One Day Consultation with Sarah at North Leeds Garden Design. It was brilliant - a really useful morning spent going round our garden and talking through solutions to the various problem areas and Sarah sent through an incredibly detailed report after spending an afternoon back in the office. She came up with some great ideas for the garden and I've already implemented a couple of the simple ones. I don't normally do things like this but it was well worth the money - I now know where to spend money on the garden and what plants will work well in our soil, which will avoid wasting money in the future on unsuitable plants. I am also more confident about going forward with projects in the garden.

When we bought our house, we were didn’t know where to start with the overgrown garden. Jason did various jobs for my elderly mum. Chopped down a small tree, trimmed some bushes, cleared all the autumn leaves up and fixed a fence broken by the wind. Lee and Sean came to do our garden renovation in the worst 2 days of the year. Lee rang the day before to confirm and they worked from the minute they got here at 8am - 5pm. Even in the rain. Atkinsons let us down with our promised delivery of our panels and on the 2nd day when they’d still not rung or delivered, Lee went over to Castleford to collect it in his van. They came back this week to sort the adjoining panels with out neighbours and what a job !! There was a wall underneath some strategically placed concrete posts. Wow these boys work !!! They sorted out next doors for them and even cut down some branches that overhang in our garden. Decking and shed painted... Lee rang someone he knew about the old fencing and The Waste Team were here within 20 mins to take it away. I’m gobsmacked at how amazing my “make do and mend garden” looks. We all need a makeover - especially nowadays. Thanks again lads. Told Hubby I’m gonna keep Absolute Gardeners on retainer.
