Excellent Job. I had a row of substantial overgrown conifers next to a train line and a large hedge to trim back. Our gardens were very overgrown with hedges, shrubs, fruit trees and conifers needing trimming/pruning. An excellent job was carried out and all cuttings were taken away leaving everywhere neat and tidy. All done quickly and at a good price. Would recommend and will be returning customers.

We had an absolutely brilliant experience working with the FirstLight team. After being disappointed by several companies Neal really took on board what we wanted. The team (headed up by Dave) were informative throughout, even keeping me up to date while I was away on holiday. Incredibly clean and tidy at the end of each working day. Any changes we made were taken onboard without any fuss. The quality of workmanship is clear to see and we now have a beautiful back garden that we can really enjoy and show off. The FirstLight team were great from start to finish. We wanted a patio doing after having some work done on the house - Neal was really helpful with ideas, designs and advising on ways to keep to budget. All of the team were extremely professional and friendly. Most importantly we’ve been really impressed with the quality of their work. It has been finished to a really high standard. They kept the site as tidy as possible. We were also away on holiday for some of the work and the team kept us updated with pictures and were always available to chat to if needed. FirstlightLandscaping first built our raised decking 14 years ago so when it needed replacing we didn’t hestitate to contact them again. As before Liam, Neal & their team were so respectful & professional & did a fantastic job replacing our wooden decking for composite. There were a few hiccups with the delivery of materials from a third party but we were kept informed all the time. FirstLight Landscaping are a good company to work with when you're looking for a competent landscaping company that can project manage really well. We were looking to refresh the garden, as how we use the space is functionally different than the previous owners of our home. With FLL's designs (via Neal), we were able to discuss and alter them as often as we needed. When we eventually got to the work actually beginning (on Liam's side), their team were really flexible, and allowed us to add or change things in the design when we realised other needs for the space. Also, Ian and Rich, who worked on-site for the duration of the project, were lovely people who did great work, and knew a lot from their own experience, that helped inform when there were potentially better design choices. Overall, FLL are a trustworthy company, and I'd be happy to use their services again if the chance came up.

Kyle took on a very big challenge with our garden. Not only work wise but access wise as we are a mid terrace and access round the rear. Middleton Landscaping Services transformed my new build back garden from a sterile, uninteresting slab of turf into a beautiful, stylish and practical garden that will be a pleasure to spend time in. I had planned my design on paper with a couple of patios, large planting beds and a water feature and Toby and Shaun brought it into existence. As a relatively novice gardener I really appreciated that they were always ready to talk things through and they gave me good advice especially with regard to choosing suitable plants, trees and shrubs. They sourced, arranged delivery of, and undertook all of the planting which made it a stress-free experience for me. Throughout the project Toby and Shaun were hard working, cheerful and enthusiastic with a practical problem-solving approach. The porcelain paved patios were laid with an attention to detail that produced a very smart result and the water feature was installed perfectly to stunning effect. The thoughtful planting design will ensure the garden matures into the cottage garden - full of interest, colour and texture - that I envisaged. Middleton Landscaping Services have recently landscaped our back garden, with paving elements running through to the front of the property. I recently had the One Day Consultation with Sarah at North Leeds Garden Design. It was brilliant - a really useful morning spent going round our garden and talking through solutions to the various problem areas and Sarah sent through an incredibly detailed report after spending an afternoon back in the office. She came up with some great ideas for the garden and I've already implemented a couple of the simple ones. I don't normally do things like this but it was well worth the money - I now know where to spend money on the garden and what plants will work well in our soil, which will avoid wasting money in the future on unsuitable plants. I am also more confident about going forward with projects in the garden.

First used this company a few years ago to revamp garden after building work. Sarah provided an amazing plan making sure all the areas most viewed from indoors were exciting and colourful. We now have a beautiful cohesive garden. We have been pleased to welcome Sarah back to our garden to enhance further areas which she has done with much success. Because she listens so carefully and then actually tries to fit our brief so closely it has been a very painless experience. Would not have known where to start to get what we had in mind - but now we have it! We are currently liaising with Sarah over a few tweaks and additions and as usual she has some brilliant ideas. I have a small to medium sized garden on a slope, a long list of things I want to do in the space and a relatively small budget - a triple challenge! Sarah really listened and talked through all my ideas and came up with a brilliant design that incorporates lots of planting space for veg, herbs and flowers, a fruit garden, wildlife pond and seating area, whilst dealing with the slope and somehow making it seem bigger than before! When we bought our house, we were didn’t know where to start with the overgrown garden. We wanted to maintain the established plants and borders but make it low maintenance and easy to stay on top of. Annabel and Sarah created a contemporary garden design, which incorporated everything we were looking for in a low maintenance design. Roy was fantastic ! Our fence had blown down in the bad storms we had recently, I called Roy after researching fencers in Leeds and he came up as one of the the highest rated. Roy was very polite and helpful, you can tell that he is very experienced and gave me sound advise on how he is going to do the repairs and gave me a very reasonable quote. The work was completed timely and without any mess, Roy is very hardworking he was working in sub zero temperatures and into the night just so he can get the work completed for me, I would have no hesitation employing Roy again. Definitely the right man for the job !
