Our garden was badly in need of a makeover. A sloping and uneven lawn, overgrown shrubs, ugly fencing, lack of privacy and impractical patio were some of issues we wanted to address. At our first meeting with Shaun and Callum they took time to really understand our issues and what we wanted to achieve. Unsurprisingly, the design they produced delivered almost exactly what we were looking for and we had no hesitation in engaging them to carry out the work. Sadly, Shaun passed away before the work started and apart from being very upset at his loss we were concerned about the impact this would have on the project. However, Callum calmly reassured us that he and Kieran (his assistant) would be able to complete the work. We decided to go ahead and in just over a month they removed overgrown shrubs, scraped the existing lawn, levelled the ground and laid a new lawn, built a block retaining wall and a raised border edged with sleepers. They also built steps and a sleeper wall and relaid a gravel path. They also moved shrubs around and planted the borders with new trees and shrubs to provide privacy and colour throughout the seasons. During the build we found them to be hardworking, reliable, collaborative, imaginative and personable. They also demostrated their flexibility by allowing our builder to lay our new patio before they had finished their part of the project. We are delighted with our new garden and highly recommend Callum and Kieran for similar garden projects.

Callum and Kieran delivered exactly what we were wanting in our garden remodel. Both worked with us to come up with practical and aesthetic ideas for our previously rundown garden. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and we’ve never dealt with more polite young men. As well as keeping us informed at every stage of the process, they were always keen to ask how each element of the garden would best suit our needs, whilst remaining realistic in what would both look and work best for our space. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and we couldn’t be happier with our new garden, just in time for Summer!

Shaun worked on a large garden project for us and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The project included a large dig-out, building new sleeper walls, installing decking, laying a porcelain tile patio, building new steps and a path, prepping and laying artificial grass, moving a garden shed, planting and much more. We had a blank canvas to start with and a strong idea of what we wanted to achieve. We were not only looking for a cost effective way to get the job done but also looking someone we could work through our ideas with to create a space that was sleek, modern and great for entertaining. We shopped around and got quotes from several landscapers. Shaun’s quote was the best value and his costs were transparent - he kindly itemised the costs for me as well so I knew it wasn’t just a figure pulled out of thin air like some garden quotes can be. Cost aside, what we really liked about Shaun after first meeting him was his upfront, honest and passionate approach to his work which you can see straight away. Shaun was fantastic to work with from day one. He kept us informed every step of the way and his daily updates meant we were always comfortable and reassured with each stage of the work. He understood our brief and was focused on making sure every detail was to our liking. Shaun clearly isn’t just a landscaper and has a real passion for gardens. His knowledge and experience in garden design and planting was especially helpful in helping us decide on a whole range of details during our project. You can tell that Shaun really believes in the importance of outdoor spaces and we had numerous conversations during the project about layout, storage, heating options, materials, lighting, planting, the list goes on! Shaun isn’t the type to rush through things so he can move onto the next job - His willingness and energy to push to make our space the best it could be was there right upto the final day of work. The finished garden is everything we hoped for and more. It’s a complete transformation of the space that has wowed and shocked our family and friends! It’s hard to explain or convey with photos the feel of the completed space. It has a balance and a continuity of materials, textures and themes that give it a real sense of atmosphere and mood - particularly at dusk. Nick came along and did a full garden tidy up for me. Removed dead plants, trimmed the hedges, pruned the trees and cut and strimmed down my very overgrown grass. Nick even took the waste away which was very handy. 100% would recommend.

On 13th February, the Asquith Brothers fixed a mains water leak in my back yard quickly and completely within one day of asking. Thank you. I had made a home policy claim to Trinity Insurance on 18th January; they finally sent out Catalyst Services on 9th February to make an assessment. Haven't heard from either since!

We had a patio with Pergola built by Stuart & James. They came when they said they would, very friendly & approachable. The patio is great and proposal for the paving works well with the garden and future plans. Overall a great experience and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Alan and his team have done a couple of jobs for my elderly father, trimming his extensive hedges, grass cutting and clearing flowerbeds for planting. They were really patient, explaining everything they were doing and how they were going to do it, and consulting with him to make sure they didn’t remove any of the plants he wanted to keep that were put in by my late mum. They worked hard to make sure he was comfortable, did a great job, and for a reasonable price. I’m sure he’ll use them again.

Just had these guys round to trim & tidy my laurel hedge. I simply can’t rate them highly enough, what an awesome job they did. The service was first class, every single cutting / leaf etc was removed from the property and the area was left in an absolute pristine condition. Alan and Michael, what can i say, these guys are brilliant, we had some high trees which we needed removing and some trees/bushes trimming back and tidying up. They have done a great job, removed old trees, bushes etc. from the property and left it spotless. Their prices are good and will be using them again.

We recently had Alan and his brother undertake the removal of 3 very tall Leylandii trees including stumps/roots that had been causing damage to part of our boundary fence line. They both worked incredibly hard but also extremely carefully and safely. Alan and his brother removed the agreed trees, opening up our garden beautifully. They also made sure to clean up after themselves thoroughly. I would highly recommend AA Tree, Hedge and Garden Services. Alan and his team are professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and work to very high standards. I think the most memorable thing about having the trees removed is how diligently the guys worked and how clean and tidy they left all of the work area, including the driveway where 'the chipper' was located. Plus of course, the very competitive price we were charged I would definitely use them again. Thank you guys

Kris and Ben did a re-sculpting of part of our l-shaped garden. The job entailed relaying an existing patio area and a new path from lower entrance to a higher point where have a shed. They also replaced large 900x600 paving with those that were on the original patio, 600x600. The new patio uses sandstone and has a great look that adds to the garden's overall effect. Kris designed and erected a pergola, which not easy to achieve but has delivered a great structure to grow plants against. We had to replace our existing fencing and was Kris was able to advise us on a cost effective solution as our budget was limited. Kris is very collaborative and easy to work with. Kris and Ben are very hard working, clean the site every night and were a pleasure to have around the garden. I can't recommend them enough to anyone considering garden landscaping, fencing or patio laying.

Carrying out the required work to 100% of my satisfaction there were no faults in their work and I could barely tell they’d been here with the cleanliness of the work! A few months ago, he visited and suggested that my driveway could do with a tarmac re-surfacing. I think it was on one of our hottest days but he and his staff soldiered on. He also noticed that part of my front garden wall needed some cleaning and re-pointing and carried out the work on 27 Sep 21. As usual, an excellent and professional job carried out efficiently by Kyle and his staff.!!! He kept me well informed of all aspects of the work he was doing. What a fantastic experience from start to finish! Michael listened carefully to my design brief and captured perfectly what I wanted. His advice and knowledge on all things design and planting related was amazing and keeping him involved as project manager for the construction phase was worth every penny. MP Landscape & Garden Design did a great Garden make over for us which we were very pleased with. We have had many years enjoying our outdoor living space. Michael and the team listen to your requirements and come up with excellent designs. Doing the project was again faultless and timely. We have engaged the company again to do another project now 10 years down the line. Again Michael has been excellent and knowledgeable in suggesting ideas that will work for us. Our back garden was in desperate need of a makeover. It was tired looking and shabby. I decided it was time for a change and stumbled across Mick and I’m extremely glad I did. The entire process from design to completion has been excellent. To begin with, Mick provided us with several designs. The final design was an amalgamation of our favourite features from each design. He project managed the whole thing and was on site every day overseeing everything. This was so important as it meant we could go about our days without worry. Mick only works with the finest workmen to bring his designs to life and we are completely in love with our garden. Where we rarely ventured out into it before, we haven’t been out of it since it was finished. Mick has also recommended an electrician to install lighting and a gardener to add some planting. We cannot recommend him highly enough and I suggest you contact him as quickly as possible to utilise his talents.

MP Landscape Garden Design made the landscaping of my garden a very straight forward and easy process, from working with my ideas to incorporating them into a practical design. Then recommending a reliable and competent builder and overseeing and coordinating the whole process. In hindsight I would not recommend the electrician SD Electricals as I discovered he massively overcharges and uses the cheapest materials. All I had to do was make the tea and pay for it all doing. Overall a great garden design that I’m very pleased with. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Michael’s services again should the occasion present itself.
