KB Landscapes was recommended to us by two of my wife’s friends who they have also done some good work for. They completed a make over on our very overgrown and unsightly garden. We had the lawn levelled and re-turfed and some new paving put down, along with a general tidy up. We are very happy with the work Kyle has done and the garden looks great and much more useable. We wouldn’t hesitate to use KB Landscapes again in the future.

Kyle took on a very big challenge with our garden. Not only work wise but access wise as we are a mid terrace and access round the rear. Kyle overcame hurdles that kept arising and did a lovely job for us. We will be be using Kyle again soon for our front fencing as we know he will do a great job for us

The FirstLight team were great from start to finish. We wanted a patio doing after having some work done on the house - Neal was really helpful with ideas, designs and advising on ways to keep to budget. All of the team were extremely professional and friendly. Most importantly we’ve been really impressed with the quality of their work. It has been finished to a really high standard. They kept the site as tidy as possible. We were also away on holiday for some of the work and the team kept us updated with pictures and were always available to chat to if needed. Would highly recommend!

We had an absolutely brilliant experience working with the FirstLight team. After being disappointed by several companies Neal really took on board what we wanted. The team (headed up by Dave) were informative throughout, even keeping me up to date while I was away on holiday. Incredibly clean and tidy at the end of each working day. Any changes we made were taken onboard without any fuss. The quality of workmanship is clear to see and we now have a beautiful back garden that we can really enjoy and show off. FirstlightLandscaping first built our raised decking 14 years ago so when it needed replacing we didn’t hestitate to contact them again. As before Liam, Neal & their team were so respectful & professional & did a fantastic job replacing our wooden decking for composite. There were a few hiccups with the delivery of materials from a third party but we were kept informed all the time. We had James and Murphy in for two weeks (with Liam supervising) putting in some raised decking in the back garden. They were extremely considerate of us and our neighbours at all times, and kept us fully informed about the progress of the work, even when we didn't ask. Our garden has restricted access so some of the aspects of deliveries were complicated but this was handled seamlessly. Their quality of work is very good and they involved us when decisions needed to be made, giving advice but leaving it ultimately up to us. They left the space incredibly tidy when they left, and it looks like we have a completely new garden! They were one of the best contractor teams we've had working on the house.

First used this company a few years ago to revamp garden after building work. Sarah provided an amazing plan making sure all the areas most viewed from indoors were exciting and colourful. We now have a beautiful cohesive garden. We have been pleased to welcome Sarah back to our garden to enhance further areas which she has done with much success. Because she listens so carefully and then actually tries to fit our brief so closely it has been a very painless experience. Would not have known where to start to get what we had in mind - but now we have it! We are currently liaising with Sarah over a few tweaks and additions and as usual she has some brilliant ideas. We really enjoy our garden now both viewed from inside the house as well as in this glorious leisure space. Very happy to reccomend this company.

I recently had a One Day garden consultation with Sarah to give me some inspiration and advice on what to do with our garden (we’ve recently moved into a new build house with a fairly large garden area that we wanted to make the best of with some lovely planting while also making it kid friendly for our toddler and find space for a shed!). Sarah spent the morning with me thoroughly going through ideas for types of plants, positioning of plants, garden layout and helped with lots of problem solving too (as the garden space we have has a fairly challenging layout). It was a really enjoyable morning and I liked the collaborative approach that Sarah took, exploring my preferences at every point. From the morning’s session, Sarah produced a wonderfully detailed garden proposal for us and specific instructions for planting. Sarah’s plant knowledge is really impressive, she knew exactly what was best for our soil and the Yorkshire climate. As someone with minimal gardening experience, I now feel like I have a route forwards to creating a beautiful garden whereas before I didn’t know where to begin!! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! I have a small to medium sized garden on a slope, a long list of things I want to do in the space and a relatively small budget - a triple challenge! Sarah really listened and talked through all my ideas and came up with a brilliant design that incorporates lots of planting space for veg, herbs and flowers, a fruit garden, wildlife pond and seating area, whilst dealing with the slope and somehow making it seem bigger than before! It's a joy to be in and wows everyone who visits. Sarah was friendly, knowledgeable and professional and went the extra mile to help me. I recently had the One Day Consultation with Sarah at North Leeds Garden Design. It was brilliant - a really useful morning spent going round our garden and talking through solutions to the various problem areas and Sarah sent through an incredibly detailed report after spending an afternoon back in the office. She came up with some great ideas for the garden and I've already implemented a couple of the simple ones. I don't normally do things like this but it was well worth the money - I now know where to spend money on the garden and what plants will work well in our soil, which will avoid wasting money in the future on unsuitable plants. I am also more confident about going forward with projects in the garden.

I can’t fault Graham and his team. They were putting in a long concrete path to give a flat access to our church hall. They were working by the Church and school and were really helpful to people by trying not to get in their way when dropping off children. Graham kept in touch every day to ensure we had everything we had asked for and the path is perfect and many parishioners have commented on the excellent work. I would definitely recommend Garden Revamps. Adding to this review as they have now finished the second section of work putting up a 6ft fence and two more gates covering a large area. Just as with the other job, arrived on time did the job professionally and worked hard to finish it for us. Looks great. Again would highly recommend and we will certainly use Garden Revamps again.

From getting our initial quote from Graham to agreeing on the works to be done, the team couldn’t have been more helpful. Graham and his team were excellent. Friendly, hard-working and a great price. The lads turned up early every day and did a fantastic job. Turned our derelict garden into a gorgeous patio and level grass area within a couple of weeks, around 140sqm. Their ideas on how to solve tricky challenges with differing heights and awkward corners were well thought out and their attention to detail was outstanding, they really care about what they do. Thank you Barry and Adam for all your hard graft and thank you Graham for managing everything in the limited time that you had.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Graham for taking my garden work on. From start to finish the lads have being awesome and I'm quite picky with tradesmen but have to say that Tom and Shaun have been brilliant and do work thier socks off and the finish product is awesome. I've had my front lawn taken up, cultivated and returfed and the back garden fence has been pulled down and a new one put up. The lads were punctual, reliable, friendly and very knowledgeable. Overall if I need anymore work doing then these are my go to indeed and will be recommending them to others

We recently had our patio done with D&C Lawn Turf Specialists and are over the moon with the result! We couldn’t have asked for a better finished product! From the start communication was brilliant with extensive emails showing knowledge on the subject really helping us select the exact design and style we wanted with their recommendations and responses to our ideas. Work was completed to a very high standard and the attention to detail was immaculate. Everybody was extremely friendly and no question or concern was ever too much! Would recommend to anybody wanting any work done on their garden!

We had a drainage issue in our back garden that had been getting worse each year to the point where we couldn't walk on the grass. There was standing water everywhere. Dale and his team talked us through a solution, explained how it would work, dug the channels and pits, laid the pipes and grit, then layered the soil and sand on top before placing the turf neatly on top. The team worked really hard on this, it's a 10m x 10m garden and we couldn't get machinery down the side, so this was a big effort. They were really diligent in the way they went about the work, they kept us informed along the way... it was a pleasure to have them round! Ours is a new build garden, which are notorious for issues such as this. We knew the ground wasn't prepared properly and that we'd likely hit issues like this. Nothing was beyond the team, they made us feel reassured and thanks to their hard work it feels like we have our garden back again — and when the weather is nice, it's the biggest room in the house, so well worth the investment! Thanks guys, amazing work! Couldn't recommend you highly enough. Basically, if you just want a problem sorting, no matter what size/scale, these guys will sort it for you without a fuss.

We contacted many landscaping companies for a quote for our garden makeover but they either didn’t turn up, quoted but didn’t turn up on the day or made an excuse not to give us a start date! My wife contacted Dale and he arrived as agreed, we discussed what we would like then Dale threw in some suggestions of his own which we hadn’t thought of which were brilliant. Dale forwarded a quote that night and we agreed the price, he suggested a date and he started the work on time. It was the hottest day of the year in 2024 but Dale and his team carried on with hardly a break, we ensured they were well hydrated as our garden is a sun trap. All the work was carried out to a very high standard and on time, Dale would regularly ask for feedback on the progress and advise if there were any snags. The guys have done a fantastic job, the attention to detail is brilliant and we really appreciate the hard work. We both thank you.

Would 100% recommend D&C lawn turf specialists, Dale and his team are professional, polite & extremely hard working. They were also very accommodating with a last minute change in the scope of works to include a concrete base for an outhouse. They kept us informed of progress and estimated completion throughout and the final result exceeded our expectations. We were given comprehensive aftercare instructions and the lawn is already looking amazing. Dales attention to detail and professionalism was second to none, the before photos do not do justice to the task they faced of a new build garden that consisted of mainly puddles with quite an incline, we look forward to many years of a puddle free lawn! I can not praise Dean enough, he has recently helped me out clearing out a very overgrown area and would not accept any payment for it. The quality of the work that he provides is always first class. Over the years he has done numerous jobs for myself and my family, he is always prompt, polite and very knowledgeable about all aspects of his business. Hands down the best landscaping design and installation professionals in this region, if not the UK. The team are very patient and attentive to every detail in the garden. Our garden came a cost but we can say without doubt we are overjoyed with the outcome and the follow up service. John and his team have kept an eye on the garden to ensure the warranty period is honored and have been proactive in providing follow up care at no further cost. John was excellent on the design, taking the time to understand our brief and coming up with a design that we were really happy with. There was clear communication throughout the process so we knew what was happening when. The Yorkshire Gardens team who did the work were brilliant. Very hard working (the build coincided with a long heat wave!) and very friendly. They didn't mind explaining what they were doing and accommodated a couple of tweaks here and there without complaint. We were delighted with the outcome and six months later that's still the case. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Yorkshire Gardens, particularly if you want the design and execution of a garden project.

I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful group of people. The design by John and the installation by Darren and his team was of the highest quality. My uninteresting lawn with borders and a tiny patio was transformed into something wonderful with a pergola, raised pond, large planters and patio but still with enough grass for a game of football or cricket to satisfy the grandchildren. Darren and the boys worked virtually non-stop for 5 weeks, often arriving in early morning darkness. Their attention to detail was remarkable and as the saying goes "You get what you pay for", it is worth every penny. Visitors always comment at how wonderful the garden looks. Thank you to everyone involved, especially to Darren and the boys.
