I highly recommend Dave and his team for your driveway project. They did a quality job of our tarmac driveway. I was particularly impressed by how passionate Dave was about getting a great result. Everything was coordinated as planned and communicated, and any hurdles along the way were navigated no drama. He even took on some extra bits along the way without kicking up a fuss (or charging me more). Most importantly, his quote was very competitive!

David and the team were brilliant. They managed to knock my drive way out in 3days. Very knowledgeable and the job was done correctly. They turned up on time and managed to fit me in despite a busy schedule. For anyone who's looking for their driveway or other works I can recommend these guys. You hear of so many horror stories but I can confirm these guys are legit.The job was completed to a high standard and properly done.

This is our second resin garden project done by Dave and his team. Excellent service from start to finish and their workmanship is always of the highest standard. The FirstLight team were great from start to finish. We wanted a patio doing after having some work done on the house - Neal was really helpful with ideas, designs and advising on ways to keep to budget. All of the team were extremely professional and friendly. Most importantly we’ve been really impressed with the quality of their work. It has been finished to a really high standard. They kept the site as tidy as possible. We were also away on holiday for some of the work and the team kept us updated with pictures and were always available to chat to if needed. FirstlightLandscaping first built our raised decking 14 years ago so when it needed replacing we didn’t hestitate to contact them again. As before Liam, Neal & their team were so respectful & professional & did a fantastic job replacing our wooden decking for composite. There were a few hiccups with the delivery of materials from a third party but we were kept informed all the time. We had James and Murphy in for two weeks (with Liam supervising) putting in some raised decking in the back garden. They were extremely considerate of us and our neighbours at all times, and kept us fully informed about the progress of the work, even when we didn't ask. Our garden has restricted access so some of the aspects of deliveries were complicated but this was handled seamlessly. Their quality of work is very good and they involved us when decisions needed to be made, giving advice but leaving it ultimately up to us. They left the space incredibly tidy when they left, and it looks like we have a completely new garden! They were one of the best contractor teams we've had working on the house.

Amazing work by Colin and his team. After a retaining fence in the garden collapsed he visited and quoted very swiftly. The quality of the work is very high, everything was left impeccably tidy and the job was complete in no time at all. Thank you so much, a pleasure to deal with you. 🙌

Lee & Co did an amazing job of clearing an old scruffy garage and unused, overgrown space at the end of our garden, and creating a beautiful pergola and seating /socialising area, with raised beds for growing, all fully fenced in (ours is the garden in the makeover video). It more than doubled our use of the garden and years later is still money well spent. Lee was fantastic at advising on the best materials available within our budget and where not to cut corners. He helped to bring our vision to life - was reliable, friendly and totally trustworthy, making brilliant progress, even when we weren’t in. His attention to detail, craftsmanship and the quality of work is amazing. Safe to say the work he did was life-changing for how we use our outdoor space and has brought us so much pleasure. Austin's Gardens were excellent when it came to designing, landscaping and planting my garden. Richard really listened to what I wanted, came up with imaginative ideas that fit my budget, and then delivered on time with work that was neat and professional throughout. He worked with other constructors (conservatory and driveway), and was flexible and an excellent communicator. Unreservedly recommend him and his team!

Richard and his team transformed our overgrown space to a garden which always makes me smile whenever I see it. All the team were extremely professional and explained the process and helped us pick the plants which were low maintenance but ensure the garden looks beautiful all year throughout. Spending time in the garden today has proved a welcome escape from the wider world. I would highly recommend Austin Gardens and are now planning on getting the team to rework out back garden.

We were absolutely delighted with the superb job Richard Austin did in designing our beautiful new garden. He closely consulted with us throughout the process, listening carefully to all of our specific requirements - whether with regards to plants and features, or budget and timescales - and offered thoughtful guidance and expertise. Once the final designs were produced - during which time Richard regularly consulted with us and took in our feedback - Richard successfully project managed the hard landscaping which (due to geographical constraints) was outsourced to another firm. He himself then did a very fast, effective and highly professional job of the planting, sourcing the plants at the best quality and price. We have been delighted by the results, the garden never ceases to draw admiring comments from visitors and is getting progressively better as the years go by. Thank you for doing such an outstanding job for us and we would have no hesitation in recommending Richard to others.

I can not praise Dean enough, he has recently helped me out clearing out a very overgrown area and would not accept any payment for it. The quality of the work that he provides is always first class. Over the years he has done numerous jobs for myself and my family, he is always prompt, polite and very knowledgeable about all aspects of his business. I had a significant amount of work to be done to my garden and it has been transformed and now looks like a show house. All done very professionally and friendly. They definitely deserve a five star rating and i will be using them again. Also price was amazing for what they accompished in a short time.

Spoke with Ash a few weeks ago about a medium/big project and he was very knowledgeable and explained things in a way to understand if you are not a gardener. quote was a little higher than others but as i checked the photos and read reviews i decided to go with AJT and boy am i glad. on the day i expected them , my area has horrendous road works with tail backs from dawn till dusk and the van still rocked up on time, tick! trades people turning up on time? good start, two gentlemen, not guys get out and greet me in a very professional and courteous manor looking every inch they come from the country side, the posh bit, you know what i mean. asking me to take them through it once again so there would be no misunderstandings. From there they proceeded to gather their tools and with that i have a cuppa as i have a meeting in an hour. cuppa finished, look out my back window and TICK! these gentlemen had gone to war with my unruly garden and the transformation in just one hour was amazing, fastforward 5 hours both my front and back garden were brand new, weed free and the icing was they had put back my partially collapsed wall, little to no debris any where all waste in the van even pots and tools i had discarded over summer were neatly stacked away. Needless to say i am very, very happy with the results, some will qoute you lower price and do half a job AJT ask a little more but worth every penny and wont leave you with a mess or half a job 10/10 on all aspects from presentation of staff to quality of work and they do work no hanging around having 5 cuppas. Excellent Job. I had a row of substantial overgrown conifers next to a train line and a large hedge to trim back. Ben gave me a speedy quote, came when he said he would and made a potentially tricky job look easy. The job was performed efficiently and for a great price. Everything was left immaculate after. After a season of neglect my garden was overgrown & desperately in need of attention. Ben replied promptly, they arrived at the arranged time as well. Job was carried out to a high standard. A job that would have taken me days, was completed in a few hours. Pruning, few feet of the hedge, a boundary of trees all cut back, weeding, edges reformed & tidying. All waste taken away. Now the garden looks amazing.
