During the autumn Rick dug out a large section of our back garden and using reclaimed Yorkshire stone he flagged it to a very high standard. He also built us two raised beds from reclaimed sleepers. Richard is a very friendly and helpful man who tries his best to please. His decking solution at ours in Holmfirth has been excellent. There was a hitch and he came straight back to fix it. Everyone encounters problems and it is how you fix them that matters. He has also done a great job on our stone patio. I’d highly recommend Richard.

Nick came along and did a full garden tidy up for me. Removed dead plants, trimmed the hedges, pruned the trees and cut and strimmed down my very overgrown grass. Nick even took the waste away which was very handy. 100% would recommend.

Ben, Andrew and the 2 Matts were an absolute pleasure to work with. They provided a very friendly and welcoming service to someone with little to no knowledge of landscaping processes. Ours was a small but messy and unkempt garden and it has been transformed by the work Landscape Creations have done. Ben was really flexible offering suggestions of how to reduce the initial quote costs to bring it to within our budget. And Matt x 2 and Andrew were happy to be flexible and make minor adjustments as the project progressed. Really happy with how the garden now looks and the quality of the work will mean it continues to look great for years to come.

Landscape Creations have just completed a large renovation project of our large rear garden. The work involved a total redesign which included the preparation and laying of approximately 375 square metres of turf, creating beds containing a mixture of trees, shrubs and a variety of plants. The work also involved the construction of paths and patio steps Ben and his team are very professional, delightful to work with and provide an excellent level of service. As well as the expertese provided by Ben. special thanks go to Cory, Dave and Pat who were meticulous in all aspects of the work As such we would highly recommend them for any similar work, regardless of the size of the project

Thanks so much to Ben and his wonderful team for my fabulous new decking - from Andrew who went through the initial design to Dave, Cory and Patryk who completed the installation. The workmanship is outstanding. Everyone was so helpful and the lads made a fantastic job of the entire project including dealing with a land drainage issue going back over 20 years to when the house was first built! We contacted Duncan because we had an idea of how we wanted our garden to look but really didn't know how to go about it. Duncan was great, letting us know what would work both from a hard landscaping perspective & from the types of plants that could be included to give the effect we wanted. As well as providing his expertise in these areas he also helped with the sourcing and contracting of a landscaper for the work & found the plants for the garden. All of which took a huge amount of work and head scratching from us. We found Duncan to be very personable, knowledgeable and extremely professional. Our whole experience with him would leave us in no doubt about recommending him to anyone who wants any work in their garden completing. We couldn't be happier with the service he provided.

We were nearing the end of our house renovation and were completely lost with what to do with the garden - it’s an odd shape and we are clueless! We used Take Root garden design’s “design in a day service” as our small garden required redesigning after a small extension had been built. Alison’s ideas were a perfect way to transform a large wall and some concrete bases we had struggled to integrate into the garden. Alison design included raised beds, integral seating patio and utility areas, with complementary planting ideas. The design is recently complete using a landscaping company recommended by Alison that I would also highly recommend. The garden is now another room in our home as it has been designed to be viewed from both downstairs rooms. This is the most pleasing aspect it definitely meets the saying of “bringing the outside in”. The colours of the bricks, paving and planting Alison design blends and complements our indoor room, very clever indeed, seeing is believing. If you want a garden which works for you and saves you costly mistakes I would highly recommend Take Root garden design. It is great value for money, with a design Alison produces which works, I would highly recommend this service.

We asked Alison to help us re-design an area of our long established garden. She was meticulous in her measuring and note taking. A few weeks later we received her idea for our new patio/pergola. We were very excited to see what she had envisioned for us and we were not disappointed. Alison has done a great job for us. We moved in to a new home with a expanse of grass from fence to fence and being non-gardeners didn't have a clue what to do. On her first visit we gave Alison a long list of things we like or things we've seen in country gardens and expected she would use a couple of the suggestions, but no, she managed to incorporate every single one! Over the following 12 months Alison has been there to advise on layout, choosing and sourcing the plants and helping with the planting, with the end result being a spectacular garden. In fact, her imaginative layout is almost like having three different gardens depending on where you are sitting.
