New to us & a walk in so as it was busy we had to wait a few minutes to be seated. Around 50 covers so best to book if you're likely to visit at busy times. The service was prompt, the staff friendly and polite, the food to table time as quick as I think I've had. The food was delicious, we shared Shami & Seekh kebab starters between us. I had a keema vindaloo & asked for extra hot (additional green chillies) it hit the mark even without the chillies. My wife had chicken garlic main which was very tasty and had a good amount of heat too (think I'll get that next time). We both had garlic & coriander naan which were smothered in both. We'll definitely back soon 👍 It's cash only btw

Lovely food, lovely staff. Saw this place as we were walking to the cinema. We knew we wanted to try it. Booked a reservation for the next day no problem, will definitely be returning!

Amazing first dining experience, the food was superb , tasty and fresh. The restaurant was busy with a constant stream of walk ins which is reassuring. The service was exceptional all the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Will most definitely return thank you to Arabia and all the staff….will see you soon ! X

The wait staff was great and really helped out. She made a recommendation for me that turned out really well! We ordered the mixed grill - not too spicy other than the beef, it comes with a yogurt dip to kill some of the spice. We also ordered the garlic naan, great for all purposes, probably could have just ordered one between the two of us. The chicken tikka biriyani + Bhutan sauce a little spicy for me but delicious none the less, my friend enjoyed it. And finally the chicken Makhani which was was the waitress recommended to me based upon my original order.

The food here is absolutely fantastic, whether it's breakfast, Sunday lunch or an evening meal. This place is highly recommended, and I have been several times and will be back again in the near future. It's located in the Dean Clough Mill, complex, free parking. You will not be disappointed.

Paulicarus fancied a proper Sunday roast dinner so booked a table here. Friends had been before. Sat in what apparently had once been Europe's largest carpet factory. Certainly a huge building. A starter and main for £25. Two lamb and two beef. Good veg selection. We had starters of one wings, one paté and two chose asparagus and sea bass. All excellent. Good service and good wine. No real ale so Paulicarus had a £6.00 pint of lager. Very attentive service.

My husband and I visited for the first time today having recently moved from Leeds to Halifax. We were hoping to find a new favourite Sunday roast spot, and we certainly have! We both opted for the roast pork belly and agreed it was one of the best roast dinners we've ever had at a restaurant: perfectly cooked pork belly, generous portion size and delicious sides- we both loved the cauliflower cheese. Service was attentive without being too much, and the restaurant's setting in the historic Dean Clough was the cherry on top! We're already planning our next visit, thank you True North :)

Good restaurant in Dean Clough mill complex. We called in with no appointment, and there was no problem getting a table. It was a quiet early afternoon. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food we chose was tasty and all prepared on site; there was one slight issue with one of our dishes and the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating in resolving the problem, this was appreciated but not expected from us. True North is definitely worth a visit. It's a quality restaurant serving good quality food; this is our second visit and won't be our last.

Absolutely fantastic tapas restaurant. Such a diverse choice at reasonable prices... we will visit again, as we want to try all the dishes on the menu (sadly we do not live closer & only tried 5 dishes - which were all amazing). The decor is very cool, the staff are excellent, the chef and his team are non stop in the open kitchen. The result.... a fantastic culinary experience, the dishes were served singularly, which gave the feel of a taster menu. First class. Thanks you. We were fortunate enough to be seated at the bar, overlooking the kitchen, we saw the adept cookery, relentless hard work first hand. Plus, we were given recommendations of the premium dishes to order. Top drawer experience. A must do in the region.

Outstanding little Korean place. Found this place by accident and I’m glad I did. It’s only a small venue but packs a big ol’ punch of flavour. Good selection of Korean dishes on the menu and vegan eaters are catered well for. Good value for money and a decent portion size. A must visit if you like Korean food. Will definitely come again

It is my first time in Halifax. This shop which my son highly recommended. The shop owners are really friendly. The food is really delicious. It is a pity that we do not have enough time to enjoy the food. (Protest) I definitely will go again.

Decided to stop over in Halifax on a whim and came across this beautiful gem. Fantastic food served by lovely staff! While I enjoyed my bulgogi, the crispy fried chicken deserves a particular mentioning, absolutely divine! And as a bonus you can get a crepe for dessert! How lucky are the folks of Halifax to have a place like this.

Absolutely fab place! We found it by chance on the way to a Piece Hall gig and have since been back twice, both times just going into Halifax specifically to eat here! The food is delicious, the menu varied and everything we've tried has been amazing and somehow even better than the dishes we had before! I'd recommend the cauliflower starter, the salad sides and the rice noodle dish but everything was lovely and the team are great. Always a very warm welcome.

Very clean place. And very friendly service by Bustaan. I ordered seekh kebab (chicken and lamb), meat samosa, and lamb karahi with roti. Everything was really really tasty, with good quality meat used. The samosa in particular were superb. Good place to come to. Good value for money too.

SUPERB AS USUAL! Me and my wife always go there for a meal out Everything tastes amazing, from gnocchi gamberi e capesante to lobster ravioli, side chips were also very good. But even if you fancy a simple and full od tradition plate, spaghetti bolognese will be a great call. today i've tried tuna tartara and: OMG that was top class!!! Friendly, knowleadgeable and very kind staff, ans thanks to their advice today i've tried a very nice wine which i loved. Location is very nice and i always feel welcome in this place. Strongly recommended

We've been 3 times in the last few months and it's been wonderful each time. Tony & the team are great - very friendly, funny and answered all questions about the specials. The goats cheese starter is delicious. The filet steak is amazing. And the Passionfruit cheesecake is a must!!! We tell everyone we know they should visit. Already looking forward to the next time we come.

Outstanding as usual. This is probably my 20th visit since they open and each time it amazes me. The food is impressively good all the times and there's always something new on the special board to chose from. The tuna tartare is a must try. Can't wait to go back.

Visited 2Amici in hipperholme for my birthday meal and had a fabulous meal, food was perfect, staff were so lovely and very attentive. Would highly recommended!

This is a first class pub and restaurant situated in lovely countryside necabr to Greetland just south of Halifax. There is plenty of parking and opportunities to dine inside or outside. This is a dog friendly pub and the service from the staff was exceptional. There is an extensive menu and the food is absolutely first class. Well worth more visits.

Great service and helpful staff. We met for a family birthday and had the carvery. Everyone enjoyed it and would definitely go again.

Menu wasn't really for me so had the sharer platter board to myself 👀 great staff, great portions for both starter and mains, very reasonably priced.

Brilliant night celebrating a 90th birthday was made to feel very welcome great atmosphere and delicious food

Just had to share how amazing Polinos in Halifax is! We've been there a few times now, and it's totally become our go-to spot when we want to make something special. The food is just incredible—like, the pizza and pasta are next-level delicious. But let's talk cocktails for a sec. They're fantastic and honestly worth the trip alone. You've got to try the Mai Tai cocktail—it's absolutely stellar! The service is fantastic and personal, making you feel genuinely valued every time you visit. The staff really go above and beyond to make your dining experience special. If you're a steak lover, you're in for a treat. The steaks are cooked perfectly every single time. We even tried the large tomahawk sharing steak, and it was phenomenal—melt-in-your-mouth goodness! And for the size of that thing, it's actually reasonably priced. Oh, and the views! You get this beautiful landscape of the Calder Valley while you dine. It's seriously the perfect backdrop. Honestly, Polinos is well worth a visit. It blows any other Italian spot in town out of the water. Highly recommend!

Visited on a Saturday afternoon, the atmosphere was amazing, the food was authentic and delicious. The service was top-notch, the coffee was hot and delicious. Will definitely be going back, even if I have to pay for myself.
