Menu wasn't really for me so had the sharer platter board to myself 👀 great staff, great portions for both starter and mains, very reasonably priced.

Little Italy!! A hidden gem!! Wonderful in every aspect. The owner Lino & wonderful staff can’t do enough to make your experience truly remarkable. Exceptionale food, fantastic atmosohere & fabulous service. Will definitely come again 10/10

I really enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere in the restaurant, we were a party of five, and as soon as we arrived we were treated very professionally, the table was perfect and comfortable. Although a little close to another dinners,The staff were very officiant. Good choice on the menu. I had A starter of duck liver pate, but didn't feel it had much flavour 5/10. My main was a very tasty Pork dish, with a great tasting black pudding. There was too much red cabbage but the cauliflower cheese was very nice. A good selection of drinks. Other members were disappointed with the Yorkshire Pudding which was very dry and burned. The gravy was already on the plate and would have been better in a gravy boat. I finished with the best even Sticky toffee pudding 9 /10. The price was very reasonable l had a really good experience, thank you will recommend.

This has always and will always be my favourite uk country pub. We are regulars here as it’s on our door step - whether I eat inside or out, upstairs or down, have coffee or just drinks - with or without the children EVERY time it’s perfect! The staff are extremely professional and all the ingredients they use are divine. Plus some of the best walks you could wish for but you can’t avoid a steep ascent 😜

If I had a criticism it was that there was too much salt in the gravy, but that's it, this place is stunning, the staff bloody fantastic and the food absolutely top notch. We came for boxing day and it was worth every penny. We'll be back.

It really is as good as it gets. Extremely well appointed and stylish rooms, Award winning restaurant with cosy bar and comfortable lounges. The staff bring the whole wonderful experience to life. I would love to keep it a secret but we all should experience the Shibden Mill Inn at least once, we hope to make a habit of it. It's worth travelling the length of the country just to enjoy it. Just had to share how amazing Polinos in Halifax is! We've been there a few times now, and it's totally become our go-to spot when we want to make something special. The food is just incredible—like, the pizza and pasta are next-level delicious. But let's talk cocktails for a sec. They're fantastic and honestly worth the trip alone. You've got to try the Mai Tai cocktail—it's absolutely stellar! The service is fantastic and personal, making you feel genuinely valued every time you visit. The staff really go above and beyond to make your dining experience special. If you're a steak lover, you're in for a treat. The steaks are cooked perfectly every single time. We even tried the large tomahawk sharing steak, and it was phenomenal—melt-in-your-mouth goodness! And for the size of that thing, it's actually reasonably priced. Oh, and the views! You get this beautiful landscape of the Calder Valley while you dine. It's seriously the perfect backdrop. Honestly, Polinos is well worth a visit. It blows any other Italian spot in town out of the water. Highly recommend!

Brilliant night celebrating a 90th birthday was made to feel very welcome great atmosphere and delicious food

The food was delicious 😋, I had the House Lasagna with added parmesan cheese on top and for dessert I had three flavours of Gelato, vanilla, peppermint chocolate chip and strawberry flavour it was very good and a glass of iced water with a lemon slice in it, the staff were very friendly.

Ricci's is definitely on our favourites list after just one visit. All the food was excellent, the staff professional and very hard working. Great value for excellent food. Definitely recommended.

This was our first time eating here and we'll definitely be back. The food was fantastic with really good choices on the main menu and specials. All the food we had was so tasty and the portions sizes extremely generous. We can't wait to return!!

We were well looked after. We were a party of 14 plus two dogs. The food was great. I had a steak and ale pie, gorgeous. They do a good deal of two mains and a bottle of wine for £35. We were well looked after.

Lovely meal. Shame some bar staff saw you at the bar with a card in your hand clearly wanting to buy a drink, yet continuing to chat to their colleague 🙄

Been wanting to visit Hatch for ages, and it did not disappoint. What a brilliant place for Halifax? Spacious and trendy interior, funky music 🎶 playing and a great range of food choices. I wanted to try everything so I’ll need to go back! Opted for the English breakfast as a first/safe choice and it was cooked to perfection - opted for poached eggs as a test! We also had eggs Benedict and this was also cooked to perfection. We had two coffees and two oranges juices. The cappuccino was delicious!! Ordered the wrong coffee and it was no problem to replace. I will be going back!

Was our first time visiting Hatch yesterday, what a lovely place! The atmosphere was great and the staff were so friendly! The food and drinks were also amazing, a solid 10/10 😊

This is the first Time I have come here and just came for a coffee, out side seating is ok it’s spacious and not intrusive from table to table, although the quality of seating can be better, the staff were very friendly and they are not understaffed, young lady in the photo was very friendly and ok for me to add her photo, enjoyed the coffee most importantly so will most definitely be trying this place again for probably some food as well next time. Most definitely recommend this in the afternoon if you want to sit out side as the sun will be from the side without the building in front blocking it in the morning.

I often come here and have always been very happy with the food and service. The restaurant is very clean and I like the open kitchen. The steaks are amazing and the prices are very good. The staff are great especially Costa. He is always very friendly and welcoming. He is very knowledgeable and has excellent customer service skills. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

2024/10 The salmon was very delicious. It had a moist texture that was completely different from the Pacific salmon that we Japanese eat. I will definitely go back when I stay at this hotel again.

Working away from home. Bar is well priced considering it is a hotel. Less that 60 seconds to get to Halifax train station is a bonus. Burger and pint deal was excellent. £12.50 for a home made burger, fries and a Stella is definitely a winner Will stay, eat and drink here if I'm ever working in Halifax again.

We stayed in the hotel and didn’t eat The rooms are basic and need some tlc But on the upside the bed was clean. And it’s a fantastic place to stay if you’re going to piece hall for a gig

Took the family out for a meal. The decor and atmosphere was first class, and the host was extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered the gourmet burgers and skinny fries plus a drink each. The food was freshly cooked and tasted absolutely amazing, very good value and decent portion sizes. Will definetely be visiting again and would highly reccomend.

Nice visit today on Christmas Eve for lunch. Prawns were fantastic as always and would recommend the sticky toffee pudding. Very busy and good atmosphere. Was seated outside but kept warm with the heaters. Plenty gluten free options also :) x

Have been here a few times when we visit Halifax at my sisters, definitely have to book for a table as it is one of the most popular places to eat in Halifax, the food is so good, well cooked and well presented, yes there is a bit of a wait but what do you expect for such a popular place, it's not a McDonald's so please be patient, along with my main i ordered tzackziki with pita and one of the best tzackziki i have ever had and I've been to quite a few places in Greece. The total menu is excellent, we had a lovely bottle of house wine, so please give this restaurant a try.
