Sykes Plumbing & Heating did a brilliant job removing and replacing our 30 year old highly inefficient Aga Rayburn with an external oil combi boiler. They quoted for the job and completed the install within two weeks due to another job being delayed, we had been without heating or hot water for 2 months so the speed and quality of the provided service was hugely appreciated! They had a huge team on site and amazingly completed the huge job within a single 10hour day! Brilliant job! Would highly recommend!

I had a new Worcestershire boiler fitted today Heath and his son were very good, they made sure all my carpets were protected before starting work. I mentioned that my pipes under the boiler was not lag , and heaths son sorted it , my old pipes didn’t line up for new boiler so he cut and made good the pipe work , under the floor so the pipes looked nice and tidy under my new boiler. Heath set my hive stat up , explained everything it does till I understood , I would recommend Sykes plumbing and heating to anyone who’s wanting a new boiler.Thanks again lads , I never known my heating and hot water come on so fast . I love also how I can control my heating in house or away from my home. They left my house nice and clean when they had finished their work. Lovely to see farther and son working so good together . Could not recommend Sykes Gas & Limited enough. We contacted Jamie to arrange the capping off, removal of a redundant gas fire, and a boiler service. Jamie quickly identified we had an unknown gas leak, and unfortunately had to temporarily condemn the system for our safety. Jamie took time to discuss all options and advise the most practical, and budget accommodating options for us. He had jobs booked for the next few weeks, but did his utmost to accommodate us with a young family, and went the extra mile by returning the next weekend to install a new gas feed to our boiler, and carrying out the boiler service. All workmanship was of a high standard, and will definitely return to them for any future work we require.

Just had some good news for a change . Had a leak on the bath waste pipes coming out of the house at my house in Yorkshire . Didn't look into getting it sorted just called an online company that has local plumbers on the books . Made the appointment and gave card details and then two days later the plumber turns up . At the house 10 minutes , got my tenant to run the bath while he videoed it on his phone then said I need to go back to the office and work out a quote . I get a bill for £162 ,, not for the job , the quote . Seems they charge £125 for the first half hour then £75 every 15 minutes after , regardless of what they're doing . So me being me left them an eloquent review on Trust Pilot , which resulted in an apology email and a full refund . So I decided to give the small guys a go . Sent a message to a company and a guy called Martyn replied . Said he was pulled out last week but would go today . Got a call from him this morning to say he was at the house , could see the problem , was confident it could be done working just from outside and if it's OK with me can he crack on , wouldn't be a costly job . I replied yep , crack on mate . Just had a message to say he'd done the job and an invoice for £72 . That's for digging out cement and fitting two new knuckle bend joints into a downpipe and filling back up the cement . Not a big job but a job well done by an honest tradesmen that doesn't charge stupid money . Lesson learned ☺️

Called Martyn out to a boiler emergency. He was on a job but came within an hour and carried out repair.He also came back day's later to carry out the yearly boiler service. Him and his son are clean and reliable workers and also reasonably priced on jobs.I definitely would recommend him to anyone looking for a top local plumber.

Several years later we needed a new bathroom for my mother in law who had broken a hip. The work was done fast while she was in hospital and VERY well. And at a good price. Really recommend the firm. Pleasant, honest, reliable, effective. Nice chap. Came out at a week's notice and replaced parents in laws' bath taps. Courteous, friendly, apparently very effective (well, they're still working). Recommended.

I rang Jamie for help with a blocked drain and he came the same day. Very friendly, polite and helpful. Was interested enough with my problem to take time to suggest alternatives, if it looked like just unblocking the drain was not enough. However all was well. He charge is very competitive and he will definitely be the first man to call if I have another problem.

Absolute five star service today repairing a leaky boiler then going above and beyond to get it working again. Not the easiest of jobs today in my sweltering loft on a hot day. Great service from Liam. Boiler issues late on Friday afternoon, Liam came out, repaired and serviced the boiler for us despite the job eating into his weekend. Also offered great money saving tips and was happy to stay longer to ensure our hot water was running at optimal temperature. Was also happy to answer follow up questions we had. Thank you very much Silverback and sister company First Call Plumbing four your great work. We have an emergency at home. None of my nearest plumbers could come to fix it. Silverback came straight away and gave us a cheap solution but we decided to refurbish the whole bathroom. The started the next day and everything was done in a week, including new shower plate, screen, sink, toilet, taps, walls, ceiling, lights, shelves mirror and towel rack. Ben is a great person, plumber and electrician. He worked really well and fast. I really recommend Silverback and sister company First Call Plumbing.

Really love my new bath, shower screen and shower riser rail. My bathroom looks new again and Chris was so careful removing the old bath, all tiles luckily saved ☺️ Chris really helped me with selection and gave great advice. He also serviced my boiler, removed and capped my gas fire and capped my hob for new kitchen. I felt so out of my depth with all this work but Chris made it so easy, explained everything and answered all my (probably silly) questions. Thank you ☺️
