Nice friendly staff, nice atmosphere buffet style menu. Order your starters until your ready to move onto the main. Order your mains until your stuffed. The best thing is that all the food is cooked freshly and not stood for ages like in a normal style buffet restaurant. And all for £12.50 but they do close at 9pm so be early and we'll worth a visit

Went to Royal City, all you can eat, with the in- laws, and was very satisfied. We did book a table but I am sure we would have been seated even if we hadn't. We tried a good portion of the starters and even ordered some more won ton. We had king prawn curry, (which I think was shrimp curry) which was very enjoyable, also beef in black bean and chicken in oyster sauce. Fried rice, noodles, garlic mushrooms and vegetables. And everything was very well prepared and tasted very nice. We left very full and happy, will return.

Took my mum last night for her 60th, we were a party of 6. The staff were absolutely amazing no request was too big or too small. The food was amazing and we all enjoyed our visit. We definitely will be back

Been going to this restaurant for almost 30 years. The food, service have always been great. Staff have treated my family like family at times. Nice chilled relaxed atmosphere. Great value for money.

Absolutely amazing!!! I came to this place to have a look at the products, ended up getting a royalty plate!! Great addition to the market in Huddersfield town centre, great opening times, endless fresh fish and sea food options, outstanding customer service, plus the option of grilling your fish in the house (so good for people concerned about their health + Gym BROS “low calories…”) Little advice: try to give the chef freedom to season your fish! Simply gorgeous food. Pizza simply cooked to perfection, dough is cooked perfectly to the point where it’s not too crispy and it’s super easy to bite into. The cheese perfectly melted to the pin where it’s not too burnt, crust is nice and soft and the bbq swirl on top of my pizza is a lovely and delicious touch. Definitely ordering here again. Where do I start !!! Loaded nachos like no other - I’m a massive nacho fan and just as the name they go by they are definitely like no other. The crunch the flavour of the meat and then melt in your mouth cheese it was absolutely beautiful. First time trying truffle chips have to say the truffle and Parmesan combination winner for me seasoning is just right the truffle is tasty and subtle. We also had the pesto chicken pizza base cooked to perfection nice and soft not burned or crispy like you get in other places. Restaurant quality food delivered right to your door step keep up the good work Gourmet Hub I will be a regular customer that’s for sure as the whole family enjoyed the food. I have had plenty of burgers but this place is a hidden gem for Burger lovers one of the Best SMASH burgers i have had in a long time. Good portion size and no soggy bottoms. Pesto pizza was amazing and their dough is lite and very different from any local pizzas i have had. Tasted even better next day. Star of the show was Nutella explosion Pizza. My kids Loved it. Good quality food, very reasonably priced, friendly staff. 2 visits in 2 weeks and i am already planning my 3rd trip. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I recently had lunch at Harvey's Bar & Restaurant and it was fantastic. The weather was gorgeous, so we sat outside, enjoying the pleasant atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel very welcome. The food was delicious with plenty of options, and the drink selection was impressive. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended!

Arranged to meet a work colleague , I stay in the Las Vegas of the North , Blackpool and she travelled up from Digby. I’d looked on line for somewhere half way and found this little gem . The reviews prior to our visit were really good and looking at the menu we decided to get it booked and meet up. No dramas booking on line. Arrived in plenty of time and the staff got us menus with lunch specials and the mains and drinks whilst we looked through the menus . It took us an age to decide as there was that much choice and people were ordering around us and we were getting food envy , everyone the staff bought something else out from the kitchen. We eventually went for dough balls and chicken Goujons starters. We shared as they were to good to keep to ourselves . For the mains we both had the hanging chicken kebabs, one chilli and one garlic . You could select what fries you wanted with it and came with pitta and sauces. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better , we checked out the desserts and even tho there was plenty of selection , we both went for biscof cheescake , which I can only say was , life changing . Top surroundings , unreal food and staff on point . GET YOURSELF TO HARVEYS

it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the soft glow of ambient lighting and charming Italian-inspired decor that transported me straight to the heart of Italy. What a fantastic pub! The food arrived so quickly; it was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and delicious. The gluten free fish and chips was the best I've ever had. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, including to our young baby. Will definitely be coming back.

This place deserves its 5 stars - had a fantastic meal there and it was absolutely Top Drawer. The ham shank is huge - filet beef served pink as described and beautifully seared. Finished with Bakewell and Sticky Toffee pudding. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful Xmas Eve dinner !

Top marks to the Royal & Ancient. Over on holiday from Australia my sister wanted to treat me to a high tea. It is not on the menu but the team at the pub pulled out all the stops and we had one of my tastiest high teas ever. Scotch Eggs, oh how I've missed you 😍 Highly recommended.

Great food and an amazing, cosy atmosphere. The menu is quite limited but this is likely the key to great flavour and therefore a great experience! Id rather have less choice but perfection in taste and flavour. We had a prior booking and were seated immediately. The food came out hot and within a few minutes of ordering. There was nothing that I wouldn't order again which is probably the highest praise I could give a restaurant.

The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the lobster tail, which was cooked to perfection—flavorful, tender, and simply divine. Paired with the red tiger prawns, each bite was a delicious reminder of why seafood can be so exquisite. Walking into Vudu for the first was like stepping into another dimension! It was stunning with elegant lighting, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance was perfectly balance to enjoy your meal and catch up. The food was sublime, there was a perfect balance of flavours but the masterpiece was the dessert! Sid who is head of making the desserts made the best Dubai viral chocolate dessert. There is a vast choice of drinks and food! Would highly recommend! Excellent service, excellent food and very enjoyable night out.

Had an amazing time at Vudu in Huddersfield! The place has such a vibrant, aesthetic vibe. We were greeted by the owner, Dilly, which made us feel super welcome right from the start. The food presentation was on point, and honestly, everything we had was 10/10. No complaints at all! The steak was cooked to perfection—couldn’t have asked for better. The bartender really knew what he was doing, whipping up some fantastic halal mocktails. The servers were so attentive, and it was great getting to chat with the chefs too. Oh, and I have to mention the homemade deconstruction cheesecake—it was to die for! Plus, the menu was very reasonably priced, especially for the quality of food. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Vudu restaurant and bar Huddersfield.. First time... On entering the Establishment the decor and atmosphere was very comforting . Myself and my family of 4 was nicely and sincerely greeted by a awaiting member of staff, We were seated at waiting room for our table which was getting prepared for us. After receiving our table. we were given the menus and had a tour of the drinks and food so we can get the right drinks to go with our food (which was very professional). After ordering food and drinks, the starter's with drinks firstly I/we were truly impressed with the quality and taste of the jungle rib and bao buns as they were flavourful and made to perfection (I am a very picky eater). Going ahead to the main[as was my 🎂birthday]. I got lobster (which is really easy to mess up) and it perfectly cooked and seasoned. I had a very pleasant surprise that my children and staff secretly did an amazing job on wishing me a happy birthday.I received a molten lava cake with candle sparkler and a birthday song which I wasn't prepared for..but All in All I had a amazing time and will definitely visit again. I sincerely Thank the staff and especially the ladies who were the chefs to the experience..Keep up the good work really appreciate it.
