First time coming here and is our new favourite place for coffee! Staff were extremely friendly and the coffee is definitely way above average for Hebden Bridge and my cinnamon swirl was excellent too. Would definitely recommend trying it out!
Rating: 5 / 5
The best coffee shop in the area. Coffee is amazing, cakes and pastries life changingly good, and the service and environment are exceptional. Always so proud to take out of town mates here!

First time visiting, and will definitely again soon! The coffee was incredible, and the almond croissants were especially out of this world. :)
Rating: 5 / 5
Hebden was in need of a coffee shop with a bit of a vibe and MOI delivers in spades. The space is very cool and well designed and it was buzzing when I went in. I enjoyed a quick coffee which was better than anything I’ve had at any other coffee shops in the area. Definitely worth a peek for coffee and a donut, don’t forget to stroke the shop dog he’s well sweet.

Without a doubt, the best coffee in Hebden Bridge! Food is always sooooo good, as is the selection of cakes and the morning pastries are delicious, particularly the almost croissants 🥐🤌🏻 Staff are all wonderful too. I highly recommend a visit to Moi Outside 💕

Rating: 4.8 (52) Price Level:
Lovely staff, good hot chocolate, fabulous cakes! Loved the decor and enjoyed the background music too. Visited yesterday for the first time and we were very impressed.
Rating: 5 / 5
This is a lovely new space in a great location in the middle of Hebden Bridge. It’s the best coffee I’ve had in Hebden so far (though I’ve not tried all the cafes yet). There is a great choice of cakes too. The decor, furnishings and artwork is really good, well, to my taste at least. Service is friendly, engaging and efficient. A great find, highly recommend.

My wife and I started visiting The Hermit last year and it quickly became our favourite cafe in Hebden Bridge. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, truly some of our most favourite people. The coffee is delicious as are the cakes which are selected from local independent bakers in the area. If you time it right, you might be able to nab the super tasty pork pie and cheese platter which is a hearty feast. At this time of year, the mulled cider is wonderful. Brilliant little gem of a place with a fabulous atmosphere to boot. Very LGBTQIA+ friendly.

This is a great coffee shop that appears to be an important part of the Hebden Bridge community. Early in the morning it was busy and buzzing while the friendly professional staff remained calm and confident. Definitely recommended.

Delightful dog friendly cafe which hit the spot for breakfast of eggs hollandaise which I had with bacon and a side of two sausages, all bought from the butcher’s across the road. Super tasty grub with a pot of Yorkshire tea. My missus had a Mushroom Hollandaise and a Cappuccino which again was great. Staff are super friendly and will spoil your dog with strokes and a biscuit!

Squeeze Hebden

Rating: 4.8 (63) Price Level:
Went yesterday and although extremely busy, the staff did a fantastic job quickly resetting a table for us. The butternut squash tacos were the best things I've tasted in a very long time! It was packed with so much flavour that every bite was a joy. Whoever is in charge of creating that dish is an actual genius. And to deal the deal, the menu is a very competitive price. Hands down the best place to grab lunch in Hebden.
Rating: 5 / 5
What a delightful cafe. Friendly staff with a genuinely warm atmosphere inside. Chatted with the owner several times. Food exceptional as were the smoothies and cups of tea in handy tall mugs.
Rating: 5 / 5
Stopped in for lunch after a long walk along the Rochdale Canal. We had the Eggs Benedict and Cheese toastie with onion chutney - both were absolutely delicious! The Merry Berry smoothie was also lovely and fresh. Ordering was nice and easy and the café had a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend if in Hebden Bridge!
Rating: 5 / 5
A friendly place with good food and good service every time we’ve visited. Special mention for the frappe - made with good quality ice cream - that Mrs G and I treat ourselves to on a warm sunny day. So good, we barely remembered to take a photo…!
Rating: 5 / 5
A lovely cafe in the heart of Hebden. We went for breakfast and there were lots of different options to choose from. I had a vegetarian English breakfast even though I'm not vegetarian myself and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The place was packed and seemed to get a steady stream of people coming and going, either sitting down or taking away. Overall if you are in Hebden at any point get yourself to Squeeze.

Towngate Tearoom
34 Town Gate, Heptonstall, Hebden Bridge HX7 7LW, UK | Cafe P: 01422 648868
Rating: 4.8 (259) Price Level:
The most delightful, idyllic place - we had the tomato soup, and the pumpkin and butter bean soup, cheese toasties, coffee, and coffee and walnut cake - could have sat here with the autumn sun pouring in through the window all day - gorgeous food, service and atmosphere
Rating: 5 / 5
Ventured to Heptonstall for first time and spent three hours here on a sunny winter's day. Fantastic selection of home made cakes. Really enjoyed the Lemon & Almond cake and the Stem Ginger Cheesecake. Tasted my first very scrummy mocca. Lovely paninis. Great service. A very friendly village. Towngate Tearoom didn't disappoint. We didn't bring our dog, but should have done, as it's dog friendly too!
Rating: 5 / 5
I don’t live nearby, but whenever I visit Mum, this is our favourite tearoom to come to. The Vegan and Dairy Free options are great. This is maybe my 5th visit and it’s great to have a choice of cake I can eat! Today was Earl Grey Tea & Vegan Eccles Cake! Amazing. Thank you.
Rating: 5 / 5
After a beautiful but chilly hike, The Towngate Tea Room was the perfect respite to warm up our body and our soul. The Yorkshire Tea was great but the cakes were unbelievable. We particularly liked the Victoria Sponge and the Ginger Cheesecake. The proprietors were kind and helpful. The perfect spot after a lovely walk in and around Heptonstall.

Visited for the first time today and will definitely be back! Tried the lemon & almond cake, it was truly delicious and one of the best cakes I’ve had in a long time! My partner got the biscoff cheesecake which he loved as well. Lovely service, great bakes in an amazing setting. Look forward to coming back and trying more

A great little cafe located in a small town accessible to the Dales Way. Delightful baked goods and friendly service.
Rating: 5 / 5
A lovely late lunch today. We had the wrong toastie to our table, but that was quickly rectified by the staff. It’s a lovely tea room with a gift shop attached. It’s dog friendly inside and out. There’s a bowl of treats and water by the entrance. Lots of cakes to choose from!
Rating: 5 / 5
Needed a rest from carrying our very big bags, so stopped here on our way passing through for coffee, so had to try some cakes. Was not disappointed at all. Lovely location, lovely welcome, and very yummy cakes! Staff were personable, helpful and professional. We ended up going back two more times it was so nice. As for the price, it's what I would expect these days. Thank you to the girls served us.
Rating: 5 / 5
We made a trip out to the old school tea rooms today and the food, location, and service was superb! The staff even went as far to make me an egg sandwich (not on the menu) because the little girl in my tummy gave me the biggest craving for that. Pregnancy! Will certainly be back when she’s born for a mummy daughter date and recommend to all.

We had a great breakfast here. We had a giant tomato egg and bacon bag and a prawn salad. Both absolutely delicious. A friendly eating place, popular among the locals.

Popped in for a large full English and thoroughly enjoyed every single mouthful...it was delicious and extremely great value for money...Gary Eats from you tube may pop in in the future because I wholeheartedly recommended this lovely little cafe...lovely staff and delicious food and not an extortionate price either..10 out of 10 ladies ❤️

Popped in for a breakfast & it was perfect. Lovely freshly cooked hot food. Saw people getting takeaways too. Staff were really nice.
Rating: 4 / 5
Great breakfast butties, good quality and value, this isn't a trendy cafe but if it's good food and service you want then give it a go. Flat whites were rubbish though so I'd say stick to simple coffee and tea options.

Lovely place near the Canal, the lady who served us was very welcoming, we sat outside and had something to eat whilst watching the views, the hot chocolate is amazing from there!
Rating: 5 / 5
It was my first time visiting this small town. I watched the geese by the river. The kind keeper gave us some bread to feed the geese. The cafe was right by the river, which was very pleasant.

Visited Hebble End cafe yesterday whilst in Hebden Bridge, lovely little cafe on side of canal and nice food, i got the cheese and tomato toastie was delicious.Would recommend it to others who visit. Fab service too.
Rating: 5 / 5
We visited Hebble End cafe yesterday on a gloriously sunny afternoon as part of a canal walk in Hebden Bridge. What a delightful owner! Very personable and interesting. She made me and my partner feel very welcome at the cafe, so it’s very LGBTQ friendly despite what other reviewers may insinuate. The coffee here is lovely and the cafe has fantastic views of the canal. You can sit outside in the sunshine, watching the world go by, or sit inside and marvel at the quirky decor. Importantly, this is a small business so table space is limited if you want to sit outside. I think it’s common courtesy to drink up and let others sit at the table once you’ve finished. Being a small business they need all the tables they can, especially on weekends where trade is important to make up for the quieter weekdays.

Been for lunch today. What a fabulous place. A good menu, we had the 'small fish and chips'. Beautifully cooked crispy batter, fresh fish and perfect golden 'proper chips. Generous portions, reasonably priced, friendly hosts and excellent service. We will be back.
Rating: 5 / 5
Coming from Canada I was in search of some delicious proper English fish and chips. We found it, served with a smile. Highly recommend the experience
Rating: 5 / 5
We popped in as we were in the area whilst our car was getting its MOT. We both had a lovely cooked full English with quality ingredients used, everything piping hot & prompt service. The glass of lovely fresh orange juice & cup of quality Americano went down a treat. Would highly recommend & cannot wait to visit again. The only thing I would suggest is maybe provide a sharp knife to cut the sausage & bacon.

Kibble Bakery Coffee House - Hebden Bridge
23 W End, Hebden Bridge HX7 8UQ, UK | Coffee Shop P: 07502 215065
Rating: 4.7 (96) Price Level:
Very lovely place with helpful staff and good quality coffee and food. When we arrived it was empty, but soon filled up again after we had been seated. The coffee was great and our dog Haru received his bacon biscuit before our food was served. Thankfully he still hadn't finished it by the time our food arrived, which is always a good quality for a dog treat. The BLT was very fresh with high quality bacon. Also, there was built-in places to tether Haru so that he couldn't cause any trouble.
