Brilliant spot to eat. I have been here a couple times recently after going for a walk. First of all the staff are lovely and welcoming. The variety of food is great and i ended up choosing off the specials. I had a Korean pork belly and beef burger which was 10/10, can’t recommend highly enough. I’ve also been before and had the breakfast skillet which is also a great fry up. All the food is well priced and good portions. Thanks

We have eaten here many times, but last trip we brought my sister who is coeliac. She thought everything was excellent, and was very impressed with the quality of the gluten free meals. Her only regret? That she didn't live closer so she could come every Sunday for brunch 😀

Very much enjoy a lunchtime visit to Nom. It ticks all the boxes. Excellent menu & food, outstanding friendly service, relaxed atmosphere & usually. . . .rather cool music selection playing. Definitely recommend a visit if in the area.

By far the best cafe around, the food is outstanding and the staff are absolutely class. If you haven't been here yet then please take some time and visit, you will not be disappointed. Even Donna is sound and her chicken and chorizo pasta is the best I have ever had...fact.

Went for breakfast with friends. Love the food, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Very good prices. Deserts/cakes look delicious, will have to go for lunch to try one. Highly recommend plus they have a carpark.

Unpretentious, clean, friendly service, but the top quality food (especially the bacon) is what really makes this little café exceptional.

Got full English decent price. Good service food was cooked to perfection. I just wasn't a fan of the grade of sausage used

What a cafe. I don't live in Halifax so difficult to get here but when I am I call in. Great portions, hot, well cooked. Great price AND you get fried bread! I say no more

As in the area popped in for breakfast. Was pleasantly surprised large breakfast as pictured £7.00 was cooked fresh and everything was hot unlike a lot of cafes. Sausage budget however was edible. I would visit again if in area

Coming up the North to see family and we all meet up to go for a breakfast as this was not to far away from where we was staying soon as we come in was really friendly with great manners the drinks come nice and quiet just within 5 mins the food was here 😊 all cooked and nice just one bit I was not to happy with was the omelette as was so much oil and was way to much cheese in it as it was all the pain the oven but everything else was great 👍

I love this place the food is excellent every single time! Every member of staff working there are absolutely lovely. The portion sizes are great making it worth every penny spent. Don’t hesitate to come here you won’t regret your decision.

Just been to thyme cafe in Elland for a full English omg was I glad it’s so refreshing to see that someone actually still cares about there business The quality of the food was great and il go as far as saying it’s the best breakfast in Yorkshire

Go in quite often. The food is the best in Elland, always a brilliant standard. The lady running the place is lovely and certainly knows what she's doing.

Fantastic choice of food and drink. Lovely drinks but the sandwiches were the stars-they were absolutely gorgeous!. Great quality ingredients and full of tasty fillings. Can’t wait to return and try a cake as the sandwiches were so filling we didn’t have room for any today!

First class. Sandwich was amazing. Soup was also very impressive. When I normally ask anywhere for a strong coffee it’s still usually weak, but it was perfect here. Thank you.

This is one of my favourite little cafes. Always call in if I'm driving past the lattes are lovely. The toasted teacakes or seeded toast is also lovely. Lots of tempting buns also. Nice friendly service always spotlessly clean.

Best pies in Yorkshire. I had Steak and Kidney and wasn’t disappointed. Served with home made chips (like your Mum used to make) & mushy peas. Absolutely delicious. Helpful and friendly staff made a great lunch fantastic. I’ll be back.

Lovely cafe, quite busy for a 'secret' cafe. We were walking along the canal when we saw a sign to this little gem. Looked like they had a lot of regulars. They have a range of food options. I got the BLT sandwich and a latte, the sandwich portion was more than enough. We also got their soup of the day which was cream of mushroom. My friends ordered omelette and eggs Benedict. Food were presented well, decent in portions, delicious and affordable. It has a homey atmosphere too. Can't fault this café.

Haven't been here in a while, it's still excellent. The staff are lovely, the price is reasonable and the food's great. The Full English is a decent portion size. There's always parking too!

We called over to “Slawit” and as we walked along the canal spotted on the other side a vibrant lively cafe called Northern Sole. We were curious to see what “street food” offerings were available. We chose a “Rude boy” and a Mac and cheese with Chorizo- WOW - great tasting food and very reasonably priced. We had the option to dine inside or outside as they are very dog friendly. Luke and the team were attentive to all our needs and Roxy’s too, we can only give them a five star review for a perfect visit!

Called in on the off chance, was lucky they had space for us. Quite a busy little spot. Nice selection of ales, food was amazing. Well presented and really tasty. Staff really nice and friendly also.

Me and my two children and my friend and her two children visited today for some lunch and the staff were absolutely amazing and so accommodating! We took up a lot of space with our double prams but they made sure we were as comfortable as possible and seated us straight away. The food was amazing as always and a great vegan variety to choose from too. We will definitely be returning. Thanks to all working today!

While out on a walk we came across this cafe by the canal, and what a lovely place! It was great from the minute we arrived, greeted by the staff with a smile, great coffee, ordered a fried egg and mushrooms in a brown teacake with brown sauce and it did not disappoint at all, devoured it completely and savoured every bite, highly recommended 👏🏽🫶🏽

Was our first time visiting Hatch yesterday, what a lovely place! The atmosphere was great and the staff were so friendly! The food and drinks were also amazing, a solid 10/10 😊

Been wanting to visit Hatch for ages, and it did not disappoint. What a brilliant place for Halifax? Spacious and trendy interior, funky music 🎶 playing and a great range of food choices. I wanted to try everything so I’ll need to go back! Opted for the English breakfast as a first/safe choice and it was cooked to perfection - opted for poached eggs as a test! We also had eggs Benedict and this was also cooked to perfection. We had two coffees and two oranges juices. The cappuccino was delicious!! Ordered the wrong coffee and it was no problem to replace. I will be going back!

This is the first Time I have come here and just came for a coffee, out side seating is ok it’s spacious and not intrusive from table to table, although the quality of seating can be better, the staff were very friendly and they are not understaffed, young lady in the photo was very friendly and ok for me to add her photo, enjoyed the coffee most importantly so will most definitely be trying this place again for probably some food as well next time. Most definitely recommend this in the afternoon if you want to sit out side as the sun will be from the side without the building in front blocking it in the morning.
