I had the prawn, salmon and avocado salad it was lovely. Emma the owner is so welcoming and a true Yorkshire lass. We will definitely be back 😃

Amazing hidden gem. Pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. We had two full English breakfasts, eggs Benedict with ham, French toast with bacon, and a cinnamon swirl between three of us. The food was excellent, cooked to perfection and certainly mouthwatering! You definitely need to go and give it a whirl. I highly recommend the visit 😊

First time visiting, for me, but will definitely go back. Lovely staff. We really enjoyed our food. Lovely place. The only thing that would be nice is a smaller portion option lol. My daughter and myself were with my Mum, she's 87, doesn't have a huge appetite but she fancied a jacket potato. It was huge! She chose cheese and bean filling it was really nicely presented but far too big for her. Maybe a pensioner/ smaller portion would be good. My mum was sorry to waste it. (She's of the era of not wanting to waste her food). I had a tuna melt on sourdough. Lovely. My daughter had a hot beef baguette which looked amazing. We also had a portion of chips to share. It was really nice. Coffees as well. Lovely, Thank you.

Firstly, the food was great, I had Shakshuka, which was delicious and my friends were happy with their breakfasts. The waitress was friendly, but got two of the drinks wrong and. Y friends decided not to question it, but I'm sure they would have been replaced. Reasonable value, we still felt like giving a tip and we would return again.

Why would you give this place anything less than 5 stars?! Reserved online, the table was ready, the food was perfect, and the customer service was exceptional, especially from the lady who used to work at Jems! Will definitely be back soon.

Night and Day Mirfield

Rating: 4.7 (76) Price Level:

Slightly unusual place, doubling-up as a coffee shop during the daytime and a bar in the evening. Came here for a mid-morning snack, however, and was pleasantly surprised. Staff were really friendly, toasted fruit loaf & tea were great, and prices were reasonable. Decor was nice. Just slightly strange to see cakes alongside beer taps!

Super friendly cafe /bar. Have been twice in the day time and had a warm welcome both times by *John*. Awesome cake selection. Had a cruffin which was amazing but had to share! The cheese swirl is gorgeous and comes with chutney (nice touch)! Did not get photos of these as they went to quickly however please see the coffee and sausage roll from previous cost :) The decor is beaut and the toilets are very clean and have good baby change facilities!

The inside of the cafe was nice, with music playing at a comfortable level. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the cake was delicious. I had to try their sausage roll and cheese twist, which both came with a choice of chutney. My wife tried some of my cheese twist and had to get her own. I then tried a cross between a croissant and a muffin. It looked like it was only filled halfway, but it was actually filled all the way to the bottom and was very heavy. It was so good! The coffee was also one of the nicest I've ever had.

Had an amazing night here yesterday, met up with family, my first time in here but not my families first time. They highly recommended it and I’m glad they did, the staff were extremely friendly and the atmosphere really good. We got 2 charcuterie boards to share between 4 of us and my god was it nice? The board was pretty much overflowing with meat and cheese, it was amazing! The drinks were great too. Hopefully come back to this place when I’m next in Mirfield!

Such a warm and friendly welcome on my first visit here to grab a takeaway coffee ☕️ The customer service was absolute top, the coffee was perfect, the whole vibe of the place is warm, welcoming and inclusive for all 😃 Adore the sign language poster especially! Vegetarian and vegan options looked great! Will certainly be returning for more coffee and to try a kronut! 😃😋

Arthur's Cafe

Rating: 4.3 (374) Price Level:

We have stopped many times for a drink While out walking as we live in Mirfield so today was the first time we ate at Arthur’s and it won’t be the last. We had booked an afternoon tea for 3 of us which requires booking in advance & a £10pp deposit & it’s as well because it filled up quickly this been a Wednesday. The food was excellent one of the best afternoon teas we have had and there was more than enough to make us all feel full after eating it. Looking at some of the meals that were coming out for other customers & seeing the rest of the menu we will be back for more.

Excellent! Full English breakfast is highly recommended, especially the homemade baked beans. I’d also recommend booking a table as it’s a very popular place. Service was really good and attentive. Food came out quickly.

I recently visited Arthur's Cafe and had a pleasant experience. The service was good and the food was nice. However, the portions felt a bit small for the price, though this isn't a major complaint. The setting is gorgeous, especially when sitting outside on a hot day. Despite the portion size, I would definitely return.

Me and my partner have been coming here for the past few months and have only ever had the breakfast and is by far our favourite breakfast spot. However today we went for lunch and the food was amazing!! My partner got the steak loaded fries and said it was the best steak he has had! I had the pizza which was delicious. The food is by far a 10/10. Would highly recommend coming here, the staff are very friendly and the location is beautiful too. We will definitely keep returning to Arthur’s Cafe!!

I placed an order to collect and takeaway. I ordered a full English breakfast and a breakfast in a flatcake. I was advised to collect with 15 minutes and when I arrived, my order was being bagged and ready to go. I had a quick chat with the friendly staff and the owner and then left. When I arrived home my order was piping hot and absolutely delicious! The breakfast Is boxed in a metal tray not a polystyrene one, and wrapped in foil to keep it hot. It also stops everything slipped around the tray. The breakfast and the flatcake were both very filling and you got plenty. You wouldn't go hungry here that is a fact! As you can see from my photos, the breakfast was presented well and the extra fried bread and hash browns were both in the box. The egg was still lovely and runny and alongside this, 2 slices of toast came with the breakfast. I was defeated but I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend this cafe to anyone. It's not the first time I've been and I have tried many things off the menu, all which have been consistently good. If you're looking for good portions, good prices and great staff that make you feel welcome and valued, then a visit to Cafe53 is a must!

I had the special chicken and bacon mayo baguette with curly fries, could have had salad with it for no extra cost, but chose not to! The baguette was absolutely banging, curly fries, cooked to perfection! For the price of 9.95 I couldn’t have asked for a bigger portion. The picture uploaded was after I had eaten enough… I didn’t manage to finish it all but my Westie didn’t have any complaints either!👌😍

Had several meals here whilst staying at a nearby hotel, tried many things on the menu and the food was really good. The steak here is highly recommended. Great service too. And if you want to work up an appetite this pub is the welcome final destination of a fantastic walk from Cooper bridge down the river and canal network via Battyeford island.

A traditional pub on the outskirts of Mirfield next to the river. A busy place when we visited Friday afternoon, but there was a big football match on the TV. We ate in thd separate dining room and had fish and chips which was one of the best I've had. A large fish, tasty well cooked chips and mushy or garden peas. Well worth £13 50. Friendly, helpful staff, quick service. I'd definitely go again next time I'm passing.

Love Miller & Carter , but this was the first time trying the sharing Sunday Dinner Platter. All the meat was cooked perfectly as you would expect, Camembert Mash was spot on. I only had 2 issues which were very minor so it’s probably just me 1- The vegetables were slightly undercooked so they still had a raw taste to them, I like my vegetables Al dente don’t get me wrong but they could have done with a bit longer. 2- The roast potatoes appeared to be just deep fried new potatoes, might be nice to do them properly and cook them in beef fat with some garlic and rosemary. The service was brilliant, big shout out to Rory who couldn’t have done any more for us. We will definitely be back.

Sunday lunch visit recommended by my son. In part because of the views at the rear. Clearly very popular and rightly so. It's a Vintage Inn pub. So wooden frame furniture, pastel paints etc brand decoration. Service was very attentive by Karen, helped by her laughing at my banter. Drink was brought to the promptly. The lazy choice Doom Bar on offer but the much better flavoured local beer Leeds Pale on offer. Ideal lunch beet with a low alcohol content. The food was served efficiently and well presented. I had turkey. But the portion was quite small and included a large fatty piece. Our server Karen, politely laughed at my nonsense banter. The staff were very friendly and smiley. My choice of dessert proved to be unavailable. But chose the Lemon bruleed tart, which was excellent. Maybe a sour coolie better than bland blueberry? Overall it was a very pleasant experience. I'd recommend you go and I will gladly revisit

**10/10 Dining Experience – Perfect Steak and Exceptional Service!** We had an incredible dining experience on Friday! The steak was cooked to absolute perfection – exactly how we like it – and the flavours were outstanding. A special shout-out to Karen, our server, who was not only friendly and attentive but also gave us fantastic recommendations. Her suggestion for the sauce was spot-on, and my partner absolutely loved it! Everything from the food to the service was top-notch, and we couldn’t have asked for a better evening. Highly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely be back

The best cafe in Mirfield without a doubt, yes I have visited them all on numerous occasions but nothing compare to cafe nosh. First it's a big , bright , very clean and with plenty places to sit , the interior is very cosy, there is paintings on the wall which you can purchase some local artists. That's not even the best bit , the best in there is how beautiful are people who work there , the ladies are soo friendly and they get to know you more they treat you like a friend , amazing people all of them always smileing and one of the ladies sometimes sings when she hear a tune on radio , love it . The food is as good as everything else , absolutely delicious , there is some specialities that they only do , my favourite is sandwich called hot nosh which is heaven. If I could I give them 6 starts . Well deserved.
