Went here to try it out as saw that by water and wanted to try something new. Menu quite good and prices are reasonable. Can tell a lot of locals come here which is fine. A lot of outside tables and nice view of water. Pay at the bar and then choose a table and the food is then brought out and they shout out ticket number which you get given when you pay. They take Amex here too. Plenty of parking here.

I’d only visited this pub by boat before and that was a very long time ago. It was busy due to half term and the first sunny day in ages but we had a very enjoyable light meal - the baguettes were excellent. Friendly service and a great location. It made a good lunchtime destination on a birdwatching walk from Calshot. Will probably be even better in warmer weather.

Allegedly the hunt of smugglers, this remote pub, at the end of a country lane, looks out towards Southampton Water. The old photos show it has been extended out the front, probably due to it's popularity. The disused water mill and tidal mill pond are still in the background. Some nice beers and a good pub menu. Friendly staff

“Gorgeous food can't fault them how ever I just wish they would wait to clear tables away to the end and not while one or two people in your group is still eating. I hate it when this happens I feel like I'm being pushed to finish what I'm eating ready for the next customer. Other than that was great friendly service. While always return thanks giys”
