A really nice place with friendly attentive staff. All the food was great but the lamb meat was out of this word, melt in your mouth tender deliciousness! can't recommend it enough.

Went here for the first time the other week, wasn't sure what to expect but had seen all the 5* reviews online. The reviews definitely matched our experience. We went for the platter for 2-3 people for £56. This was lovely food and good value for money and was enough between the 2 of us! Staff were lovely and fast service as we went mid week. We will definitely be back and glad this great place is local to us. 🙂

What a wonderful experience on my birthday. We have never tried a Turkish restaurant, so on my birthday I suggested we try one out. We chose Yaprak because of the reviews and OMG, we made the best decision! Service was excellent and swift, food was absolutely delicious and we were looked after by Annette, who was a marvellous host! I will visit with some girl friends and definitely with my family again.

The staff appeared understandably under pressure due to the busy evening, yet they maintained a high level of professionalism throughout. A particular mention goes to the young, dark haired lady who assisted us was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient as my wife and I inquired about various dishes. Her attentiveness made a great impression. The view of the marina is absolutely stunning, adding to the overall charm of the experience. The dishes we ordered were hot, fresh, and delicious, although they took some time to arrive. However, given the bustling atmosphere, we found this understandable. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food and service made it well worth it.

Really wonderful food, a treat, a destination with comfort, class, lounge, huge selection of drinks with a lovely long bar. All tastefully decorated for Xmas. Was so busy having fun that didn’t take too many pictures of the food. Thoroughly recommend oysters, Lobster Thermidor & Hake. Service spot on.

Great meal with great service from Tom. We started with the oysters and then proceeded to try everything we could. The souffle are phenomenal, the catch of the day, a sea bass, was delicious. The chateaubriand cooked perfectly, but in the UK they don't season it, so if your from the states before to ask for extra extra season or some sea salt from kitchen. One of best restaurants in a hotel we had during our travels and a big thank you to Tom who really took care of us, Would visit again!

We stumbled across this place during a visit to the area. Up the stairs to an open bar area, with dining at the back. Views across the water and a smoking veranda. The staff are friendly and attentive. A small but well put together menu. The food was out promptly and was to a very reasonable standard. The beef burger could have done with a touch more seasoning, but we had no complaints. All round a nice experience. We would definitely come back.

AMAZING! If you have an allergy please come eat here! They don’t have those silly allergy menus but instead their own separate dairy, gluten exc menus so you feel included in the meal instead of being that one person scanning through each item in that silly flip book! Food is also super fresh and tastes 10/10. Constantly changing their menus and have beautiful views if you can grab a window seat!

We love seashells wonderful staff attentive and always smiling. Our food tonight was simply delicious, perfectly cooked and presented. The chocolate brownie is heaven on a plate. Love the new decor bright and fresh with lovely firmiliar views over the river. We have never been unhappy with the food or service at Seashells. We went to a Michelin star restaurant for our anniversary a total disaster and said we should of gone to seashells....enough said

It was just perfect, have been here on Fridays which had a great vibe but very busy. Tonight, (Thursday) chilled atmosphere, very tasty food and lovely company with just the youngest out with me tonight. Staff always attentive.

A warm welcome on a cold and wet day. Started with a lovely bottle of delicious Zinfandel wine. The food that followed was divine! The best Chowder I’ve ever had, (better than Boston USA). Sandwiches are lovely too, with pre seasoned fries, scrumptious. My partner’s pulled Beef bourguignon starter and pizza were lovely. Portion sizes are generous. the prices very reasonable. Great selection of food on the menu. Bonus, loving the playlist background music. Lots of free parking, as per signage, you simply need to give your car registration. Lots of outside seating too, (for warmer days). Toilets very clean. We’ll be back for sure. Highly recommend!

Had the calzone pizza, which was fantastic. The staff are very friendly and attentive without being intruding. The interior creates a mature atmosphere. They have a good drinks selection and are reasonably priced.

Birthday meal recommended at Amalfi! Glad we took the recommendation. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed by the staff. The food was amazing. I had quattro stagioni pizza. (Four season pizza). I have had many of them over the years, but I can honestly say, it was the best Quattro Stagioni Pizza I have had. My wife had a specially made gluten free Antipasto platter. She was absolutely over the moon with it. Service was excellent, helped us choose our wine. Atmosphere was cosy. The table we had was very romantic too. I asked to take a photo to say thank you and they gladly obliged.

Came here the other day with a few friends. First walked into the restaurant and was greeted nicely by the waiters. We started with cheesy garlic bread which was delicious and melted in our mouths. We then followed up with mains which was firstly Gnocchi pesto & muscles and then spaghetti bolognaise. Both pasta was to die for and a great size portions. The desserts came out shortly after due to great service and we were all pleased with the pana cotta and cheesecake. The pana cotta was delightful and we all enjoyed our desserts. The atmosphere was great and brilliant music playing in the background. The best authentic italian restaurant 😄 !

This restaurant has such a cozy and charming atmosphere! From the moment we walked in, you feel like you’re in Italy. The food was absolutely delicious! Me and my girlfriend requested to have a bigger size whole Sea bass each, which we totally recommend :-) Thank you so much to everyone at Amalfi, for an amazing evening and unforgettable experience.

Tonight was my second visit here and it was absolutely wonderful. We travelled far and its 100% worth the drive. The food was freshly made and the servings were very good, the atmosphere was pleasant with the staff so cheerful. We left with full tummy's and a smile on our face and looking forward to going back again, Well worth every single penny 🥰

Waterside Gateway had their New Year meal for 63 people at The Boathouse. Everything was amazing from the meals to the service and the friendly staff. Thank you to all at the Boathouse we all enjoyed the day.

Great food & service in a modest-sized restaurant. Simple interior and furnishings. Just a shame that at the end of the night the chef didn't want to converse or acknowledge my presence. Makes such a difference if the chef checks that everything was okay. Encourages one to return.

Nothing but good things. As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted with a smile. We took our seats and were served by the lovely Lauren, who was very helpful. Drinks arrived quickly, and the food arrived at the table in a timely manner, looking delicious. The starters were flavourful while the mains were looking great and tasted amazing. Dessert was held back long enough for the previous courses to settle so we could enjoy the amazing tastes for what was to come. Definitely will be going back in the future 5⭐️

Me and my partner went for Valentine’s Day and had the most amazing time. The service was quick and everything came out quickly. Karen and sue was excellent with making sure everything was okay and checking up on us, just absolutely lovely people. Food was amazing and everything was in order.

Wow wow wow!! From start to finish, an excellent experience of Asian tapas and fantastic wines: we cannot wait to visit again. Blue Jasmine had been on our radar for a couple of months to try. An easy, flat, 10/15 minute walk from West Quay, we incorporated visiting for Saturday lunch after a shopping morning. An absolutely beautiful setting in Ocean Village, Blue Jasmine offers a stunning bar, terrace and restaurant overlooking the yachts of the marina and beyond. A warm welcome from all and we started with a drink at the beautiful bar /lounge area before moving into the restaurant area; Warm woods, stunning lighting, cosy booths, attention to detail and of course, the view !! Service was top notch with helpful recommendations of how much to order and we settled on seven or eight dishes between the four of us. We chose some of the usual traditional offerings such as crispy duck with pancakes and spring rolls plus some new dishes (to us) such as honey and lemon chicken with the addition of pomegranate, Salmon Massaman and a Thai roasted chicken with tamarind and mint dipping sauce and Himalayan Pink salt. Salivating at the memory of that dish. By their recommendation we had a bottle of Italian red that somehow magically went with all the dishes we had. (A Barbera D’Asta, which was exclusive to them ) . Service was warm, welcoming and attentive throughout, we felt really valued and appreciated: I really can’t speak highly enough of the place and cannot wait to go back. You can easily set this as the place for either an easy going but top notch light lunch, as well as a THE place for a special occasion due to sumptuous setting and decor, and food and wine to warrant making a special trip for. The reception and ambiance of the restaurant was great. The lighting and decor definitely elevated the experience as well as the view from the restaurant. The cocktails we had were perfect as I didn't want something too sweet and the waitress recommended the perfect cocktail to me. Their signatures were unique and I would want to go back for them alone! The food was but no means bad, I'd only give it 4 stars though as it was not mind-blowing with amazing flavours. But I will say that it is Asian fusion really well done. My highlights were the duck pancakes, chicken and egg-fried rice. Tried a little of the Hazelnut dessert and wish I ordered myself one! Definitely one to go back to.
