We stopped by for Saturday lunch whilst we were in the area and the food and service were somewhat mixed. Between the two of us, we shared the scallops and cured monkfish for starters (both nice and well presented), the mushroom and spinach risotto (great flavour) and the lamb chops (these were dry and disappointing considering they cost £29 for two small chops) and tomato salad as a side (this was ok and probably wasn't necessary). The service was also not super attentive or warm.

This was our first time at Restaurant Six and it won't be our last. Menu options were terrific making it hard to choose and the food that arrived was top notch. My only negative is that we were seated in their small dining room upstairs and this is so dimly lit reading the menu and seeing what you were eating meant carefully positioning the table light.

What a lovely lovely place ! The atmosphere was 10/10 and cosy room and decor makes the place ! The service was beautiful and the girls working were very friendly! The food was outstanding. They made my birthday dinner beautifully ! Highly highly recommend! The scallops were incredible 👌🏼

Fabulous tasting menu, each course kept getting better. The wine pairing with it was very nice. With notice they were able to adapt for my allergies and it was fabulous food. Staff were so helpful and charming. They obviously have a passion for their food. Lovely cosy setting in an old building. We will definitely be back.

There are insufficient superlatives to describe the quality of food, service, and the overall atmosphere at this remarkable restaurant. Thanks to Evi, who runs the front of house, and Nathan, the world class chef for an excellent dining experience.

Tucked away in Liss just off the A3 is a really great restaurant waiting to be found. Some really solid and interesting cooking using some great ingredient’s. Canapés of Beetroot Arancini and Choux pastry with Parmesan was lovely and savoury. My starter called Oxtail puff was a Pitivier style puff pastry filled with shredded soft rich oxtail in the most delicious onion veloute….this was truly delicious, smooth and rich full of flavour and topped off with a slice of duck foie. The main of saddle of venison was cooked beautifully served with turnip and preserved plum and a small crisp samosa filled a rich stronger filling. We Finished on a beautifully light rhubarb soufflé served with a great rhubarb sorbet and torched lemon tart. The restaurant it self is small and seats about 16-20 and you feel like you have stumbled upon a hidden gem tucked away in the country side that people are keeping quiet. The service was relaxed and informal….pouring your own wine/water isn’t a problem. Places like Nathan’s don’t usually last long but they have proved that serving great food in an intimate setting works ….Go it’s well worth the effort…They have a strong following so booking a table can be a challenge.

We celebrated my son's 50th birthday at the restaurant. We thought the food was amazing, Evi was delightful and attentive, we left feeling we had a wonderful time and a beautiful memory to cherish. Thank you.

We had an amazing delivery of lovely sushi from Little Fish for a special dinner at home. The quality was fantastic, the delivery person was friendly and prompt, it was all displayed beautifully. There is no doubt we will be ordering from Little Fish again and so glad to have discovered this gem so far outside of London!

Amazing service, fresh, good quality and delicious. The packaging and branding was beautiful and added to the experience! What a treat. And the portions were generous too! Can't recommend this enough! Can't wait to do my next order now!

Pretty good sushi. The rice is well cooked, albeit a bit dense, and the fish quality is good. Nice to be able to pick it up from a fairly local delivery point. Worth the price

We went based on the reviews, as other reviews have stated there are no reservations offered but when we arrived and told it would be about 20 minutes wait, which we were happy with, they take your name and mobile number and add you to a wait list and you get a text when the table is ready, the system works well. We both had the American breakfast and it was nice, the pancake is very thick, the tater tots are mini hash browns but there are too many of them. We would return, there are other branches we'll try but will try something else on the menu. Staff here were excellent.

Food was lovely, very busy so service was rushed and was chilly in there.

Josie’s never fails to deliver delicious food, so whilst in Petersfield I stopped by and got my Josie’s fix! The Petersfield Josie’s is right in the centre and is very easy to find. It’s got a charming aesthetic and as always, has efficient and friendly service. As they have a lot of seating we were able to get a table without waiting which is quite unusual- but it’s definitely worth a wait if there is one! I had the Brunch Burrito and it was sublime - I genuinely don’t know how they make food so tasty. The service and food as you would expect from a Josie’s was great, and I’ll certainly be back in the future!

This is a modern cafe done right. In its popularity we had to wait for a seat to be available, but following the download of an app we could easily go away and shop and be notified when a table became available. At the end of our meal we were also able to use the QR code to view our table’s bill and select our own items to pay, saving us time and hassle. The food was equally as amazing, and the staff were lovely. Will absolutely be returning.

Absolutely beautiful dinner this evening. Lovely blankets and hot water bottles to keep us warm. Large sun umbrella to keep us dry. Our 3 course meal was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious - beautifully complimented by wine. Lovely, friendly service and atmosphere. We really can't wait until the indoor Restaurant is permitted to open and are already planning our next visit. Huge thanks to Paul & Georgie for a lovely evening!

Our family visited last night based on a recommendation from a former colleague. I think the magic begins as soon as you walk through the door. The decor and atmosphere is refreshingly unique and makes you feel at home. Brilliant choices on the menu and it’s even better than you imagine, when it arrives on your plate. Will one hundred percent make this my go to place in Petersfield and will recommend far and wide.

The Staff are fantastic and courteous. A1++! The food is ethically-sourced, in all senses of the word, absolutely delicious, every single time and the atmosphere inside the cafe is lovely. The decor is impeccable and their food literally saved my life after a terrible aaccident in '23. I've got nothing but praise for the food, the Staff and the lovely way that they care about each and every customer. Thank you, Turtle Bean Cafe.

Always impressed with the food here. It’s a great place to pick up a bacon butty to take away or sit in, although booking is advised as it gets busy! Love that they offer gluten free bread too 🙏

I visited the cafe in Liss for a business meeting. It is just around the corner from the railway station, so it is easy to get to. The food was very good. Two had a vegetarian opinion, but I had the full English breakfast. The atmosphere was good, as was the decor. With friendly staff. The toilets were clean and well separated from the cafe's eating area and kitchen, which is definitely a good thing.

Great little cafe. It has a variety of all day breakfasts in addition to other lunch options and cakes, but this is definitely better than a greasy spoon. I had a really good vegetarian breakfast with a coffee. Good service, nice atmosphere and it's dog friendly too. There are a limited number a parking spots on the road outside the cafe.

A fabulous celebration for my mum's 80th, the team at the Deers Hut were very accommodating and made us very welcome. The food was delicious and served promptly and accurately. A good wine selection at fair prices too. As a group of 18 diners, this can be a challenge. Thanks for helping us celebrate!

We came here last night and we absolutely loved it! We had the shared Camembert to start off with which was delicious! I then had the sausages and mash which was amazing as well. Such a lovely cosy pub to go too! Would definitely love to come back and recommend ☺️

We arrived without a table booking on a very busy Sunday, with 3 dogs in tow. They managed to offer us a lovely outdoor, heated seating area, so we could have lunch. Portion sizes were enormous (the dogs got the leftovers), food was delicious and served nice and hot. There was atleast 3 choices of meat on offer for the Sunday roast, along with a great choice of other mains. Typical gastro pub pricing, around £15-24 per main for adults. Whilst we were there 4 horse riders turned up for hot chocolate and chips, and the landlord bought carrots out for the horses. So definitely dog & horse friendly.

Beautiful village with walks by the pub. The fillet medallions were succulent and delicious, accompanied by fine green beans, with almonds (this was a fair portion that could be shared) and chips. Others enjoyed their food, venison, and cheeseburgers.

Stopped for a lunch during our hike in the area. The food was exceptional! Best lunch we had in a pub. The chef itself was very lovely and you can see and feel he cares about the customers enjoying the food he makes. Would love to come back and taste more dishes. The pub itself is decorated in a warm feeling, caring about the small details

Met friends for Sunday here today. Fabulous roast and despite it being later 14.30 it was clear everything was freshly prepared. Beautiful rare roast beef, crispy roast potatoes and perfectly cooked veg. Cauliflower cheese was pricey but definitely worth it. Service was excellent, a small army - all helpful and cheery. Now feeling full and content!!
