“First time back here in 20 years! Wonderful little restaurant in Emsworth serving high quality food in a friendly, relaxed manner. I had smoked eel followed by fantastic red mullet and a gorgeous apricot and almond tart.”

“Lovely, helpful staff with a beautiful selection of cheeses. Bought some black truffle oil here to boost my pantry and it has not been a regret! I tried the Somerset Brie, a fig & honey cheddar (so unique and delicious), and a Manchego cheese. All beautifully presented in green and white packaging. Nice to see no plastic bags but their own branded tote bags.”

“Very friendly staff, attentive service. One of the better Indian food experiences. Well-seasoned, fairly generous portions and reasonably priced. Starter dosa was more like an appam in texture but tasty potato masala and condiments. So often dal is a bit of an afterthought but this version was savoury with a dry (?) tadka. Another first was boneless goat in the Hyderabadi Goat & Aubergine which wasn’t really ‘2 chiili hot’ but very enjoyable nonetheless. Naan was OK, along with the okra starter. Recommended ‘semolina & rice powder cooked in sweetened milk with cashews and raisins’ was basically a nice rice pudding missing the last two ingredients. Still giving five stars because their food is way above the average, was good value and the staff are so nice, enthusiastic and very efficient. They are trying very hard to please.”

“Visited on a Friday night and the restaurant was very busy. All the food we ordered was very tasty and good size portions. One star dropped on atmosphere due to background music at the time of our visit being the song bear nessecities from jungle book on repeat for some unowned reason. All in all though a nice Italian restaurant with good service and friendly staff.”
