If I lived nearer I would be at La Lambretta every week. We've visited twice now and each time was wonderful. The food is wonderful and the staff and atmosphere make for a very pleasant dining experience. The menu gives enough variety without being too extensive and it's definitely worth checking out the Specials. You also get a lot for your money - the prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food makes it all worth it. I would highly recommend a visit if you're in the area. I know that we'll definitely be coming back again.

A lovely evening meal here tonight, the food was delicious (especially the desserts!😍) and Marco and his team were really welcoming, providing excellent service. They gave us a free zucchini taster which was a kind gesture and nice surprise as well as Italian biscotti when the bill arrived, lovely! we had a lovely evening! the atmosphere is lovely, but the food was even better. A few of our party had bruschetta to start and i can honestly say it was some of the best i've ever had. two of us also had pasta and the other two had pizza and there were no complaints, only empty plates. A little gem in fordingbridge.

La Lambretta pizza is the best authentic pizza you will get anywhere outside of Italy! All staff are lovely. It's a magical little taste of Italy in Fordingbridge. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Recently attended a Christmas party for a youth football team here. The set up was really well done and allowed space for the kids to move around and talk to all their friends. Very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with very friendly and talkative staff which made the evening feel homely. The food was delicious and very well cooked, pad Thai is my favourite dish and they do not disappoint here. They catered for everyone really well, even asking if we wanted specific dishes cooked up (being vegetarian this was a bonus as I've not had this before at a restaurant). From hearing others talk, the food was perfectly cooked with a good amount of spice so everyone enjoyed their meals. Also not many takeaway places will offer chicken nuggets and chips which is perfect for children so everyone is happy. Staff were top notch, food was delicious, atmosphere was so welcoming. All round had an amazing time and definitely eating here more often!!

Had takeaways from here before which are always fantastic. Decided to eat in this evening and again not disappointed. I can recommend the Red Curry. They will make most dishes vegetarian if requested, either with veg or tofu. They do not have an alcohol licence so we took our own wine. Lovely staff, food is delicious and at a very reasonable price.

Tried the Thai Kitchen Sat 25th Jan and found it a very pleasant experience, lovely attentive staff, very tasty Thai food. My daughter was very pleased with vegetarian options. Please note. At present they can only serve soft drinks, but no problem if you wish to bring your own wine. Also happy to see well behaved dogs.

Had an amazing lunch here today. Genuinely couldn't decide what to have as there were so many delicious options on the menu....Really good vegetarian options available too, which is unusual. Good incentive to return and try it all! :-) Beautiful, classic English country pub; best in the area, we love it!

Having read the negative review, I felt compelled to share our experience after visiting yesterday. We had booked in advance and may have been seated near the table mentioned in the review. While the staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming, I did notice that the table next to us was quite crowded. At one point, I found it a bit tricky to navigate past the chairs to access the ladies' room. That said, our overall experience was amazing! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was outstanding, and the staff made every effort to ensure we had a fantastic time. It’s clear that a lot of hard work and care goes into making guests feel welcome. We can’t wait to return and enjoy another wonderful visit!

We went to the hotel for their Hungarian night. We were presented with 7 taster courses accompanied by wine. The food was delicious and the wine was amazing and very well paired. For a very reasonable price. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The room we stayed in was the Bournemouth Belle. It was spotless and really comfortable. We had breakfast the following day which was superb. We will be back!

Just had lunch from the Christmas menu which was very nice. Lovely presentation and the staff were really engaging and pleasant. Good value as well. Pleasant well kept surroundings and will be going again.

Beautifully done hotel. All the little details around railway station and trains are well thought out and brilliantly executed for everyone to appreciate whether you're into trains or not. The room was lovely, with a rain shower wet room and nicely done. Restaurant was like a train carriage and food was very reasonably priced for evening meal and breakfast was included with room, all delicious. With only 5 rooms in the hotel, you get a great service, all staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. It's only a 18 minute walk into Fordingbridge town centre and great base for exploring this part of the new forest. We will definitely be staying again.

This was one of the best places we stayed on our one month tour around Europe. Great rooms and the staff were amazing. Thank you to all that were involved with our stay from the front desk to the chef, excellent quality food and great value. Such a friendly place, highly recommended.

Such beautiful food and amazing service. Velvet was our principle server, and she was so attentive, so helpful, that it made an already outstanding dining experience next-level perfect. We may live 150 miles from here, but this just may become our new local. If you are on holiday reading this, then book that table, you won't regret it.

What a gorgeous pub! We were amazed by the look of the pub at first sight. Their interiors were well thought of too. You have cosy nooks, comfortable seating and a beautiful garden too. We had a birthday lunch and it was very thoughtful of the team to put a banner for us. It made the meal all the more special. We ordered the beetroot carpaccio as a starter, oyster mushroom, tomato pasta and shepherd's pie for main and crumble for dessert. Every course was absolutely delicious! The pie was one of the best I've eaten. Very lovely staff, manager and service. I can't wait to visit again.

After snailing our way through New Forest after dark, avoiding cows, poneys and donkeys on the road, we reached The Royal Oak, beautifully illumined with its Christmas lights. The interior was just as welcoming and we were soon made to feel comfortable in the dining area. The Royal Oak serves many vegetarian friendly dishes, several of which are suitable for vegans too, and it was a pleasure for me as a vegetarian to be able to chose from the menu instead of simply having to select the only available vege option as I so often have to do in other places. The food is delicious and unpretentious. The deserts are very good too! The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with many returning customers. I would be one of them, if I'm ever in the area again :) Bonus for dog owners : this is a dogfriendly pub

This pub is really nice. Cozy, quiet and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The pub garden is beautiful and the food was really on point. Its nice when you get quality food that has some care and detail. Dog friendly.

Great home made cake and nice hot chocolate. Definitely worth stopping by.

We were greeted in a friendly manner, and the vegan choice for my wife was explained as a real vegetable sausage, which she enjoyed. My breakfast was equally enjoyable. We were also allowed to charge our phones, which was very convenient. Thank and bless you, the team at The Bridge.

So we popped to Fordingbridge to have an afternoon tea with my Mum, Wife and Dad on Mothers Day. Firstly the price was great £12.95 per person. Secondly the food was delicious, everything homemade and so fresh. I’ve paid an awful lot more for not homemade fresh food. Anyway back to the food - there was plenty to go round and all was delicious with a real good mix. Thirdly the setting was wonderful a lovely grade 2 listed building tastefully decorated right on the high street. The staff were so attentive and friendly and just the whole experience was perfect for my mum. I highly recommend Bridges for quality homemade food, great staff and a great atmosphere.

I have cooked breakfast most times I come here. Every time it's cooked perfectly for me. even the eggs are always good and never hard. My family often try different things, but it's always consistently good. Well worth a visit if you're passing by!

We always have good food from New Wongs, chips can be hit or miss at times but usually decent and you always get a mountain of them. Prices are on the high side for a take away but it’s always busy so must be worth what you’re asked to pay.

We called in to get something hearty to warm us up. I opted for a South African dish, which I had never heard of - Bobotie. Lamb mince with almonds. It was delish. The Malbec wine 🍷 accompanied the meal perfectly 👌 Would recommend.

This was the first time we have been to this pub, we stopped on our way back from Bournemouth to Salisbury and have to say we were very impressed. The bar area is lovely and welcoming and we were greeted by a member of staff who asked if we were eating or just having a drink. We stated we wanted to eat and were shown to a lovely table and whilst chatting ordered our drinks straight away which arrived within minutes. The food was incredible and the size of the plates enormous, I had gammon, egg and chips which I would highly recommend and my wife had a rack of ribs which came with chips and a salad, she couldn't manage it all as the portions were so big, everything was cooked to perfection and I cannot recommend this place enough. We will be revisiting with family and huge thanks to the staff for a very pleasant visit.

Nice pizzas shame order wasn't correct. Didn't realise until we got home and realised. Somehow failed to omit the pineapple but added sweetcorn despite asking for no sweetcorn. Pizza was therefore on bland side. Would of given 5 stars if correct.

Excellent food and really good prices. All pizzas are half price on Mondays. The chicken sandwich is great, real chicken breast with a seasoned, crispy crumb!!

Amazing tasty food and large portions. We always come here when nearby. It's also very popular among locals for a good reason 😉
