Trattoria Di Lorenzo

“This is our second time ordering from Trattoria and the food is phenomenal. We ordered delivery and the food portions always come hot as well as the portion sizes are extremely sizeable. I ordered the carbonara which is always absolutely delicious and it also comes with a small pot of parm which pairs well with carbonara as well as any pasta. I genuinely think that this is my favourite carbonara ever. My partner ordered the spaghetti bolognese and also thoroughly enjoyed. We also had the garlic bread with cheese which is a really good size and also a very nice garlic bread. I personally think this is also one of my favourite garlic breads i’ve had as well. The food is always so good and I can never finish because the portion size is so large so I always eat it the next day and it’s just as good. Cannot fault this restaurant at all and is 100% my go to when i’m craving pasta!!”

“My daughter took me here for my 60th birthday present. On arrival the restaurant knew it had been my birthday a few weeks ago, but still wished me happy birthday. There were four of us eating and we all chose the gourmet set menu. The menus are being changed Monday so they will have new names. They asked us about food allergies. Two of us are gluten free and to complicate things I can't eat crustaceans. This was no problem to them and they adapted the food when ever necessary. The food was exceptional and the waiters took time to explain exactly how each dish had been prepared and what the ingredients were. The food came at a nice pace. When we had our penultimate dish, the Winchester Roll, they served this with fresh wasabi. The flavour of this was fantastic. I would certainly come back and eat here again. I really want to try their vegan set menu next time.”

“Didn't know what to expect from Turtle Bay but was pleasantly surprised. Went for dinner - Food was excellent as were the 2 4 1 cocktails, service was polite and prompt even though it was a busy night. Would highly recommend a visit although..... If it's a quiet evening meal your after, probably best not go on a Saturday night as it was crowded and very noisy......but that can only be a sign of a popular establishment. Looking forward to going back.....”

Bugle Inn
Park Ln, Twyford, Winchester SO21 1QT, UK
Phone: 01962 714888
“We had to arrange a last-minute birthday lunch when our other plans suddenly went pear-shaped. The team did whatever they needed to do to accommodate us for, what was already, a pretty full session. They asked us to pre-order, which we were very happy to do, in order to help them out and they sent us the full restaurant menu by email. This is unlike many other places that send an extremely limited pre-order menu. It was very busy and the staff worked really hard to keep everything moving along well, while the food was excellent and very well presented. Price-wise, The Bugle is very good value, with the quality of the food being more than a match for the price tag. Fully recommend, we enjoyed our visit.”

Brasserie Blanc - Winchester

“Had a Sunday roast. Yorkshire puddings and roast beef were very good. No gravy with meal or horse radish. Had to ask for gravy and horseradish. Vegetables were very bland and uninspiring. Main course took around 25 mins to arrive. Sat by window which was quite chilly. Starter and dessert very good.”

Porterhouse Steakhouse

“Great steak, fairly good service and atmosphere. I had an excellent steak, with good quality sides. It was well prepared, with great flavour and is generally much better than you get in an average steak restaurant. The location is central to the city, so parking is a challenge, but I would say it's worth the trip, finding a space and walking to the restaurant. I had and would certainly recommend the T-Bone, it really was very good.”
