Delicious fresh food and great portion size. My partner and I had the mixed grill sharer platter so we could try and array of different things. They kindly added some feta to our chips for me 💕 Other people's meals looked fantastic as well. We are gutted we don't live locally as we'd be coming back all the time!

I would highly recommend visiting this place and sitting to eat. Absolutely lovely little place, charming music, clean restaurant, polite staff and the food.... WOW outstanding, I will be back 😋

After trying every single food joint in my delivery radius I can tell you that MESSY CHEF will be my go-to from now on! Burgers are 10/10, the chicken wings are the nicest I’ve had, always cooked perfectly and there are sides for daaays! And that home made ice tea is 😍👌🏻 Would highly recommend!

We went in to order this evening & ate at home. The wait was 20 mins but we were happy as food was very fresh, hot & delicious. My husband had the ultimate burger with cheese & bacon fries & was extremely happy! It takes a lot of him to get full but he really enjoyed his meal! I had the chicken wrap & cheesey fries & it was amazing! Also ordered 2 children meals & my kids enjoyed it all so much it was all gone! Really tasty dinner & we will certainly be back & will be recommending to all our friends & family!

Great veggie and zing burgers, lots of sauce and good flavours. Generous portions, fries enough for 2 people. Excellent Ferrero milk shake.

Great food, great service - the burger was piping hot and delicious and the wings very crispy and large in size. The loaded fries were incredible. Will definitely be ordering again.

Busy back street pub, lovely and quirky great ales HSB, London Pride, friendly staff and a place to chat and have some down time. It's opposite the church in Havant so giving you a taste of the country in the middle of a busy town. I love it. £10.05 for large white wine a d HSB pricier than some but the atmosphere and bar chat makes it worth every penny.

The appliances and kitchen are generally quite tidy . The food is delicious and clean. The packaging is neat and polite. I'm quite easy-going in everything so I rate it well 💯

22/12/24. New 'American Diner' in Havant. Had to go in and try it. Decked out just right to give it the full look. Very impressive Menu. All tastes catered for. Decided on the Full American to give it a go. Wow the moment plate was sat down the Battle commenced 😁 Nice Fluffy Pancakes, tasty sausages, scrambled eggs nice and light, not overcooked and rubbery, hash browns crispy. With Free refills on the 'Proper Pot' of coffee. It was a sure winner. 3 mugs of coffee in me and no room for anything else when asked. I will have to come back for sure to see if it's possible to reach their desert or sundaes menu. Definitely one to go with friends and make an occasion of it as they also do cocktails. Thanks guys for an enjoyable experience. Fantastic Value for the price

Having been away from the U.S. for over two years, finding this little gem was an absolute treat! It’s been ages since I’ve had such a nice meal at a sit down restaurant. I was a bit skeptical that this was another “gimmick” type restaurant, definitely not. I got a burger and shared a shake with my husband, they were delicious! Staff was friendly, the decor made me smile, overall a lovely little diner. Thank you for such a lovely evening :)

Went in today with my sister and her 2 kids, workers were lovely and kind, food was brilliant, toys and colouring was brought to the kids and a lolly at the end, at the end we were surprised by the price because we were expecting it to be alot more!

I came here with my boyfriend to have lunch (specifically fish and chips) and it was really lovely. The staff was really friendly and nice and the place inside was really cozy. The fish and chips were really good, usually I'm not a fan of how oily some places can make the fish but they did it really nicely here. It tasted fresh and the chips were really delicious. We got full really quickly ! ! It was paired with quarter a lemon and peas with shredded lettuce which wasn't too bad. The lemon did taste good with the fish, as well as with the tartar sauce that was given. We also got a banana boat (I wish I had some photos of this, but it was really cute) we shared one together. It had strawberry sauce drizzled on top, 2 scoops of icecream on each end with fan wafers on top as well as whipped cream on the sides. There was some kind of fruit other than banana inside which also tasted really good, but I'm not sure what it might've been (It tasted like either pineapple or peach) There's a lot of tasty-looking desserts on the menu, and generally there's a ton of options. It's a really nice place to go eat. The fish and chips was somewhere around ~£8 and we had one fish and chips plate each. The banana boat was around £5. (In total it amounted to somewhere around £21-£23) Which is affordable for a couple, what we got and the quality of it all. We were both completely full. It was a lovely lunch, thank you!

I went here today for lunch. Walking in I was greeted by smartly dressed waiters who were attentive. I ordered a cup of tea and cod and chips and the food arrived quickly. It was tasty and hot and very enjoyable. The salad was lovely and fresh. I would definitely like to come back here and have perhaps an omelette and salad. The menus are extensive with photos of the dishes. Thank you an enjoyable lunch!

It was quite quiet this evening. Ordered on te app and food was delivered quickly. The whole party enjoyed their food. I had the lamb kofta which was delicious. Staff were efficient and friendly. A nice experience overall.

Nice spacious pub with plenty of tables and seats. Popped in with the family. Very friendly greeting (which always goes down well). Looked at the menu and was duly impressed by the variety and the prices compared to another well known pub chain named after its owner😉. Food ordered and freshly cooked. Looked and tasted amazing. Harlee who served us was most helpful and polite . Kudos to him. In summary, please visit as soon as much better than other options along with the prices, diversity of menu and portion sizes.

Had to come down to South Coast and on Friday searched for somewhere for breakfast Saturday morning. So pleased we picked The Heron, greeted by, I believe Rachel, she was so pleasant and extra helpful. We were taken by the pub itself, the gardens and parking but most of all the quality of the food and the value for money, not something we can often say nowadays. Once again many thanks to all at the Heron and any trips to the south then we now know where you are.

Great views but if you want an Aperol spritz it's £2 cheaper next door at the royal oak.

Had a wonderful Sunday roast with great service. It was one of the best roast dinners we have eaten out. Katie took time to put my mind at ease when picking my meal as I have a dairy allergy and even double checked with the kitchen after going through the list. Replaced the Yorkshire with extra roasties, overall fantastic service and understanding with eating out with an allergy!

Excellent Sunday lunch. Nice atmosphere and great views over the harbour from our table. Only slight inconvenience was that they had run out of the pie of the day by 1pm when we arrived.

Lovely old pub restaurant in old havant, good menu, had beautifully fresh fish, nicely battered, with crispy and fluffy chips. Reasonably priced meals, will definately visit again when I'm in the area.

I was there for the first time in many years. I went to see the Blondie tribute band Parallel Lines and had a very enjoyable evening. I was extremely impressed with the two barmaids that worked both bars very efficiently.

Booked in with the family to celebrate my brothers birthday, we all had the Sunday roast which we all enjoyed. Very helpful staff and friendly, definitely will be having a Sunday roast again. Many thanks for a enjoyable afternoon.

From the minute I walked in, I was very welcomed by all the staff. They were polite, friendly and showed real professionalism. I was debating whether I was going to get food and my god I was so glad I did. The food was phenomenal and would highly recommend the burgers! The prices are very very reasonable also! All round great experience and would 100% recommend whether you are going out for a drink on your own, with a couple of friends or a group of you, either way you’ll enjoy this pub!

My dining experience at rowlands castle was truly exceptional. From the moment I entered, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made us feel right at home. Especially Lucy, she was truly amazing and had a lot of time for her customers. She was really helpful with us and always had a smile on her face. She definitely deserves the credit for making that place shine. I can't wait to come back if she is going to serve us again. Employee of the month ❤️❤️

Our waiter Josh C and waitress Emily C were an absolute delight, they were very friendly, courteous and helpful, they addressed food allergies and preferences ensuring a wonderful trip to the restaurant, they quickly got us to a seat and reminded me about putting my vrn into the computer for parking. The food was fresh, tasty and cooked well. The table was clean, and comfortable. The manager came out to support them while they dealt with difficult customers to our side which was lovely to see staff supported by management. The price was reasonable too. Always a delight and happy to return.
