“Absolutely phenomenal meal. I've eaten at Michelin star restaurants that don't come close to the quality I found this evening at Truffles. The balance of flavours was perfect, every bite making me yearn for the next. The portion sizes were just right, and we left not stuffed, not hungry but perfectly satisfied. Have already recommended to friends and family, and will most certainly be visiting again very soon!”

“I’m so glad we chose to eat here - everything we had was absolutely delicious! There’s a great range of food on the menu, it was hard to choose! We ordered the takoyaki which was amazing, the sushi sharing platter B which was also great and a lovely amount to share for two people and then finished with the passion fruit and mango mochi and red bean dorayaki. The service was lovely and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. I haven’t had good sushi around Fareham before so this restaurant is lovely to have here - will definitely be back!”

“When the tide is in its brilliant to walk round. Excellent views across the harbour to Portsmouth. Navel ships can sometimes be seen in the distance. Spinaker tower can be seen. You can go in the castle grounds. The keep is run by English Heritage, there is a charge to enter. Coffee can with tables/chairs present when I visited. The church is worth a quick visit and it has a tea room.”

“I regularly visit my local but I felt that I needed to leave this 5 🌟 review! From the moment we arrived, the new bar girl Chelsea was very welcoming! When the food came out...wow! Their smashed burgers are up there with the best! Again, Chelsea was very attentive asking if the food was nice and was very chatty with myself, my wife and my brother! Chelsea even said goodbye to us when she finished her shift! A lovely evening of drinks and food and Chelsea was the cherry on the cake! She is a huge asset to the 🏰”

“First time we've been here, was lovely! Mother's day lunch with the family. Super friendly staff, quick service and great atmosphere. We had roast dinners (only improvement would be a bigger Yorkshire pudding and maybe some broccoli 🥦 ) one of the best I've had in the area, fish and risotto. All very tasty, and great desserts. Will definitely be back to try some more off the menu!”

“Nice pub, awkward location for finding the way out...it's on a dead end street and turning is difficult if cars are parked without consideration. VERY friendly staff, great choice of ales, lagers and ciders. Food looks excellent. The gent's toilets are spotlessly clean. Well priced venue, live music and sports. One star removed because of a quite loud and annoying couple at the next table. Maybe Monday lunchtime is their 'special time'? Highly recommended.”

“A complete surprise! Whilst waiting for our dog being discharged from the Vet, we enjoyed an excellent fish lunch for £10.50 including a pint of beer. The fish was very unusual, since it was cooked fresh, with a homemade beer batter. Unusually, the size of the portion was very large for a couple in their 70’s. So no supper needed. Again another pleasant surprise. The cask beer was very good! It was somewhat undeceivable quite which takes a point of atmosphere. But again unusual, the pub does not have a tv on every available wall space. Will return!”
