Visited Guido’s for the first time after hearing great things. My expresso martini was fabulous! The staff were very knowledgeable about the wines and very polite. My tomato, goats cheese, onion and crispy parma ham starter was delightful, some really great flavours and textures. And the pizza! The pizza was so delicious, perfect dough and cooked beautifully!!! We all had a amazing meal/experience and agreed we would definitely be back.

What a find! Some of the best Italian food I've had in a long time. Everything is fresh and beautifully cooked with true authentic atmosphere. Staff are lovely. So friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is sophisticated, with a lovely scent of fresh pizzas. Shame we're only in the area on a short break as I would be back here regularly!

Fantastic food, atmosphere and service. This was our first visit and despite being on a Tuesday evening it was incredibly busy. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We shared a starter, Risotto Al Salts (amazing Sauteed risotto cake, crispy pigs cheek, cheese and pepper zabaione) then both had Margherita and added toppings.

Nice to find somewhere fairly local that does decent food that tastes fresh and well made! Fantastic pizza bases, not like anything I have had before , wine selection limited but what we had was nice . Sure we will be back

Had to book far in advance bit we finally got to experience this amazing food. Beautifully tucked away Nathan Marshall at Clarke House has a lovely laid back atmosphere with amazing service and food.

There are insufficient superlatives to describe the quality of food, service, and the overall atmosphere at this remarkable restaurant. Thanks to Evi, who runs the front of house, and Nathan, the world class chef for an excellent dining experience.

Tucked away in Liss just off the A3 is a really great restaurant waiting to be found. Some really solid and interesting cooking using some great ingredient’s. Canapés of Beetroot Arancini and Choux pastry with Parmesan was lovely and savoury. My starter called Oxtail puff was a Pitivier style puff pastry filled with shredded soft rich oxtail in the most delicious onion veloute….this was truly delicious, smooth and rich full of flavour and topped off with a slice of duck foie. The main of saddle of venison was cooked beautifully served with turnip and preserved plum and a small crisp samosa filled a rich stronger filling. We Finished on a beautifully light rhubarb soufflé served with a great rhubarb sorbet and torched lemon tart. The restaurant it self is small and seats about 16-20 and you feel like you have stumbled upon a hidden gem tucked away in the country side that people are keeping quiet.The service was relaxed and informal….pouring your own wine/water isn’t a problem. Places like Nathan’s don’t usually last long but they have proved that serving great food in an intimate setting works ….Go it’s well worth the effort…They have a strong following so booking a table can be a challenge.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Moma and it was an experience we won't soon forget. From the moment we walked in, we ware greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, elegant ambiance that set the tone for the evening. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they were serving. It’s clear that every detail at Moma is considered, making for an experience that is both sophisticated and delicious we highly recommend it and can’t wait for our next visit!

Lovely birthday surprise meal. The food and wine were just amazing. Great menu... Difficulty make a decision because it all sounded lovely. Mixed up with sushi as starters and a delicious hake main. Service is really good and all staff are very friendly.

If you’re looking for an elegant dining experience in Haslemere, Moma is a fantastic choice. With dish prices ranging between £28 and £35, it offers high quality cuisine that is well worth it. I visited with two friends, and we were all impressed. One ordered steak, which was cooked to perfection tender, juicy and full of flavour, accompanied by a delicious sauce that enhanced every bite. My other friend chose pasta, fresh and perfectly al dente, coated in a rich, well balanced sauce that made for a comforting yet refined dish. I opted for the grilled octopus, which was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. It had a smoky char on the outside while remaining tender inside, served over a creamy, velvety emulsion possibly of potato or cauliflower sprinkled with smoked paprika and finished with black caviar and microgreens. The combination of textures and flavours was simply exquisite. The cocktails and wine selection are excellent, perfectly complementing the food. And to top it off, the desserts were absolutely delicious, making for a perfect sweet ending to our meal. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. With its cosy and welcoming atmosphere, Moma is an ideal spot for a relaxed yet refined dining experience.

Fantastic food in a lovely setting. 4 of us booked lunch and the starter was amazing. However the waiter was too surly and unhelpful with our friend.

Stopped by after a lovely local walk on Saturday afternoon. Pub was pretty quiet but received a very warm welcome, and excellent Guinness and a lovely coffee. They have a secluded garden to the rear which is really nice. The pub is set out for eating mainly but has stools and tables in the bar area and it's really cosy. The staff were very attentive and would happily go back if in the area.

A delightful pub in the beautiful countryside. The pub seems to been recently refurbished and has a great atmosphere full of character. There were several cask ales available but what set it apart was the terrific food. The menu was thoughtfully curated with a great range of dishes. I had the sole which came as a pleasant surprise atop a potato rosti with a delicate sauce. As the other tables filled up I realised that I’ll be returning as the other main course choices on other tables looked just as good. The basque cheesecake was rich and delicious. The service was excellent too. Overall I was very impressed. I will certainly be working through the other dishes over the coming months. Highly recommended!

My partner and I had the Sunday roast, she had the Pork and I had the Beef, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the atmosphere of the old pub was amazing. The staff were great 10/10

Came nearby for a hike and was searching around for a local pub to find this gem. Food was incredible, ordered the pork belly and every aspect of the dish was cooked perfectly well. Really incredible flavours, this was done perfectly. Stayed for dessert and ordered sticky toffee pudding which also was done well. Highly recommended.

Had a super evening last night. It was our first night at The Royal Oak. Landlords were welcoming and locals were friendly. Great choice of non alcoholic drinks and a great set from Tequila Chase! Loved the atmosphere and the pool tables were so much fun! Look forward to going again

Had a great night this Saturday. Enjoyed the live entertainment (the Ghost notes) thoroughly. Great pub and so happy there’s live music to enjoy amongst a good selection of drinks :)

Hard to find a music venue but these guys are not only putting on live bands on Saturday nights but allowing amateur bands to practice on Wednesdays too . Staff are excellent , friendly and kind . Dogs are welcome and it has two pool tables and darts boards . Can't wait to see a menu when they start serving food .

Out of the way place, but so so pretty esp the beer garden. Went for the chalk water trout was not disappointed & will be coming back again soon!. Unfortunately, it was a Monday & service was quite slow, hence the 4 stars. I'm going to go for a weekend brunch next time in the near future to see if service is different. Cocktails were great, too!. Would recommend & will go again. TO ADD been a few times since my initial review. They're recruiting if anyone's looking for a job. There were more staff, hence my rating going from 4-5. The food is delicious & I'm trying to work myself through it all. I had the venison pie of the day from the special's menu. We arrived without a table booking on a very busy Sunday, with 3 dogs in tow. They managed to offer us a lovely outdoor, heated seating area, so we could have lunch. Portion sizes were enormous (the dogs got the leftovers), food was delicious and served nice and hot. There was atleast 3 choices of meat on offer for the Sunday roast, along with a great choice of other mains. Typical gastro pub pricing, around £15-24 per main for adults. Whilst we were there 4 horse riders turned up for hot chocolate and chips, and the landlord bought carrots out for the horses. So definitely dog & horse friendly.

A fabulous celebration for my mum's 80th, the team at the Deers Hut were very accommodating and made us very welcome. The food was delicious and served promptly and accurately. A good wine selection at fair prices too. As a group of 18 diners, this can be a challenge. Thanks for helping us celebrate!

Very nice place, which is obviously a very local bar and restaurant which is family based and very friendly. The food was very good and the atmosphere was good. The younger staff could do with some customer service training as they forgot cutlery and us, but otherwise, it was a great place to visit

Literally the best roast we've had in a long time, amazing food and lovely friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Warm and friendly, with the open fire blazing and atmosphere to match. I had the blade of beef with mash and bourguignon gravy. The meat was so tender and delicious - I had to ask the chef how he had made it. Would definitely recommend this dish and pub and will return when back in the area!

We stopped for lunch in this pleasant village from our walk of the local hills. A muddy day but staff were ok with us keeping our boots on! Large bar with two adjacent dining rooms and lots of original features. Just two cask ales on offer the day we visited...both sampled and were in excellent condition and well served by friendly staff. Food was excellent and delivered promptly. Prices typical of the area. Worth coming back ... Perhaps when it's less muddy.

We visited for the first time as we were in the area and looking for a main meal. There wasn't many reviews on this pub so we took a punt. First thoughts were great choice of food on the menu, so many delicious meals to choose from and great selection for the kids. The food was fantastic! We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Also they had a bookshelf with games and colouring for the kids which is a great touch. At first we commented how nice it was to have fresh water put on the table without asking, however they added £3 onto the bill at the end for the water which is wrong, considering we didn't realise or get told this. That is the reason for the 4* and not 5. And also the fact dogs are allowed and a breed I am severely allergic to was sat on the table next to us, so we did have to hurry our food down to leave. Also we did say thank you and bye to the (what I assume is the landlady) and we were ignored.

Went today for a Sunday roast first time. Definitely going again beautiful dinner and pudding. A special mention for the lady serving the tables today, her name was Agata very polite,helpful and extremely hard working a great asset to this business for sure.Many thanks Agata for a wonderful Sunday afternoon (even hubby said ‘Best meal and service’ we have had for months. We booked a table last minute and arrived for dinner as a group of 4. The service was great, good absolutely delicious, would 100% come back. There's a really good vegetarian selection on the menu! Very generous portions.

Very personal service, relaxed atmosphere and comfy seats, including sofas at the back and cushions and footstools at the front. Good selection of films, both current and past. Simple meals, drinks and snacks available. Easy to park nearby. Attractive discounts are available for members and over 65s.

Love it here, great place and really friendly staff. Will definitely come again.

Stopped in here for a coffee on Sunday. The staff were very friendly and great service. The fresh cakes on the counter looked delicious and I was impressed that there were two vegan options.
