brilliant service, super lovely staff and great cocktails, charcuterie boards with the bottomless brunch is a great idea and executed perfectly, only complaint is there could be a radiator or two as it was quite cold but other than that, an extremely pleasant evening!

Small, intimate almost, but with a big heart. You walk in and greeted almost immediately by the Bar/host staff in front. Seating to the left in table format with cosier sofa array in the window. A large range of drinks available displayed on the chalkboard, but with a small almost hard to see QR code to scan to see ingredients of each drink. Nice touch but awkward to navigate to start. We sat in the other window seat staring into the eyes of the bar staff, felt odd as were we waiting for drinks, like waiting for a takeaway. However the drinks arrived, packed with flavour, subtle notes, and a lingering taste. Relaxing music played and you sit back watching around you. You forget it's quite small and enjoy the condensed space. Large parties no doubt would have to book the venue, but a party of 2 can walk in. Good vibes, good drinks, will be back

Love love LOVE this place! So nice to have a cocktail bar right by the high street and so reasonable priced too. Can't go wrong with 2 for 1 cocktails all day, everyday

Service was excellent, can't fault it. Food was very nicely cooked and presented. The atmosphere was good and would recommend to anyone travelling in the area or just a nice dinner night out.

Tonight I visited the restaurant with a friend from Ghana, we had a lovely meal, the staff were really helpful with helping me choose food as I’ve never experienced African food before. Lovely lovely food , and a wonderful experience, we will definitely be visiting again . A hidden gem in Andover . They even do English breakfast at a very reasonable price. Burgers and AMAZING African food.

Beautiful food, great service and a warm atmosphere. We had the spicy chicken wings and puff puff to start, the puff puff were so good! For mains we had the egusi with fufu and ofada rice with ayamase. We will definitely be back to try more dishes!

Ate here for the first time on Wednesday evening and wasn’t disappointed. Nicely decorated, very clean and lovely staff. Had deep fried Mac and cheese bites for starter and jerk chicken on loaded fries and goat curry (not always available mid week but worth checking). All delicious! Good portions and chef came to check we were happy afterwards which was a lovely touch. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Please support this great independent restaurant so that it is open when we next visit the area! (Free car park after 4pm just behind the restaurant.)

Had a wonderful meal this evening! Not had jerk chicken since our wedding and it was absolutely delicious! The service was great, portions were good and i’m so pleased we’ve found this hidden gem in Andover town centre. We will be back for sure!

Highly recommend! Andover needs somewhere like this! We’ve not found anywhere similar! We had BBQ wings, halloumi, JERK chicken burger with fries & JERK pork which came with coleslaw and Mac n cheese. Everything was spot on! The sauces were great! Meat tender full of flavour. Can’t fault a thing. Food 10/10 service 10/10 nice atmosphere! Really good selections of drinks, cocktails, beers, wines, soft drinks! They even offer catering for parties etc. We forgot to take pictures of the food because it didn’t stay on the plate very long! Really reasonably priced and good portions! We were STUFFED!

We came in early on a Saturday night, made use of the happy hour- delicious cocktails! We had a mixture of starters and mains which were all well presented and very tasty. Servers were all friendly, no long waits (although it was quiet at the time) and the music was good. Would recommend.

It was my first visit last night. The food was delicious! And the service was excellent, all the staff were very attentive. My only dislike, (hence the loss of one star)was the lighting, I found it far too bright, which ended up giving me a headache in the end. I know this is a very personal thing, so don't let that put you off!

A fabulous Curry house, serving food fit for a king. Or should I say Sultan. We enjoyed some wonderful food and a lovely bottle of Provence rose.

Honestly, this venue comes without fault, or at least for me, it did! As someone who works in the industry of hospitality, it is a pleasure to be served at such a high quality. Apon booking on the same day as visit (glad i did as was fully booked by arrival time!) Receiving a call about my notes on my allergen (being told it is a NUT FREE VENUE is a huge plus by myself ) to the service received is second to none I've had before. All servers are super attentive! The gentleman behind the bar who is able to upsell and clear glasses off the table is a breath of fresh air! The server recommendation to change my meal as the one I chose would potentially be "chewy" vs, his recommendation was so outstanding and also highly correct as the meal i received melted in my mouth and something I've never chosen. To be told to change my choice, I highly respected and never thought off as I've always put up up with slightly chewy meat/ what i expect from being a child always choosing the same thing... But the biggest shout out is pleasing my partner who would rather a Chinese over Indian food any day (who I had to talk into going with my selection to try Sultans as I had heard such good things and who grew up in Indian style restaurants) who had been blow away by the flavour of food, service and flavours he was presented with and even said on route home would happily now become a regular... which is outstanding!! Thank you to the team at Sultans. You made my celebration night one I will not forget, and we will be back!

Pub Perfection!. Greated by lovely friendly staff as we arrived. The building itself is beautiful with low beams and a log fire burning away. Nice selection of drinks and the food was also very good. Definitely a locals pub, but very friendly and you don't feel out of place. Will certainly return as this is what you think of when you say traditional English country pub! Great stuff all round.

Stayed here for 1 night on business. Really wonderful country Pub, beautifully furnished rooms and the food was amazing. Lovely cosy atmosphere in the Pub and all the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!!

We had a family lunch here after burying my mum's ashes at the nearby woodland burial ground. It was perfect. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent.

Lovely Sunday Roast. Food is always excellent. A perfect example of how a pub should be on a day to day basis. Same can’t be said about the BVI down the road. The George is a perfect place for a drink, snack or meal. Highly recommend!

Great place to go on your own or as a family. Great for kids of all ages. Wheelchair accessible. Variety of animals big and small. Some new additions like mini golf ⛳️ loads of parking available. I do think they should do a slightly cheaper price for adults who dont have kids as we cant use all of the equipment ie. Play areas and aren't there as long as we would be if we had children. They had a show for the children and face paintings. Indoor soft play which is pretty big. Nice little cafe and a ice cream hut. Also hawk and owl shows. Trampolines, slides, swings, bouncy ballon and much more!.. great day out. Although i did feel really sorry for freckles stuck in a little area on his own. Should be out in the open field with the wind in his hair poor thing.

Really good place to visit, lots of play areas for children. The animal farm part is really lovely, lots of lovely animals. There is a soft play which is really good. The gift shop is quite expensive, especially the drinks but I guess that's what you expect at these places. Lots of areas to have a picnic. Overall we had a good day, my 3 year old has already asked to go back!

After hearing my sister and cousin had purchased a monthly payment pass, I decided to get for me and my daughter, this has been one of my best investments. Not only does it get us out the house once a week, finkley down farm has so much to see and do, that it never gets boring for either of us. Animals happy and clearly loved very much, hot and cold food available, plenty of parking and seating areas outside and in. Will definitely be renewing my pass!

So much to do...for kids of all ages.love the fact there are things indoors and out to do. Love seeing the animals and birds. I bought some of the delicious fresh milk and also the free range eggs. Would definitely go back

By far the best Chinese in Andover. By a country mile. This place is my go too every time I order now. Best value for money. Ordered a takeaway and was told 45 mins. 20 mins later it arrives. Piping hot and just as delicious as ever. Love this place would highly recommend. Looking forward to trying their buffet. If it’s half as good as the takeaway it’s worth twice what they charge for it!

Fresh ingredients and generous portion sizes. Noodles are not greasy and packed full of flavour.

Went for the buffet and it was really good, comes out fresh, hot and tasty. The orders are brought out to you and you can have enough for the amount of people seated at your table, many choices available for starters and mains! Staff are friendly and there are prawn crackers waiting for you on arrival.

Had the Salt and Pepper Squid to start and Thai Green Chicken Curry special for main course. Both tasted great and good portion sizes. It was very busy at lunch time with good atmosphere.

Highly recommend this gem of a pub. Stopped in for dinner after a nice long dog walk in the area. Good selection of ales, steak was fabulous and perfectly cooked. Menu isn't huge but lots of very tasty sounding options, including a couple of vegan and vegetarian mains.

The Plough at longparish Epic!! We had roast beef and roast lamb plus Ollie had meeeet (plus a few veg). The meat was perhaps the most succulent and beautifully cooked we have ever had the pleasure to eat. The meal presented was exceptional. Delicious gluten free gravy (plenty) and a few veg. The meat was without doubt not only the best part of the meal but the best we have had - ever! The pub was popular, good ambiance. Car park full, staff friendly and helpful. Well done!

Forget what you thought you knew about this place. Was taken over 5 weeks ago and it is absolutely amazing! Starters, mains and dessert were all excellent and were at a brilliant price to boot! This is definitely our new local!!

Book ahead as it gets busy! Booked Sunday lunch for 6. Arrived at 12 (our booking was for 12.15hrs) and front door still locked. Whilst waiting we admired the Snowdrops in the car park. Friendly greeting on entry. Food took a while to come out and whilst waiting were told we'd need to vacate by 2.30pm as they needed table for another sitting. Very pleasant young lady but timing off as we'd not had food yet! Would have been better to have notified in booking email or SMS beforehand in my opinion. We had 3 turkey, 1 beef and 1 pork Sunday lunches, plus fish & chips. The food was piled high and meat plentiful. Nice fresh veg and huge home made Yorkshire pudding with plenty of gravy. A couple of pieces of meat overcooked slightly but the rest was tender. Roast potatoes not crispy enough but generous portion. Entire meal was not piping hot but just about warm enough. Fish and chips look anaemic but fish cooked ok. Batter not crispy enough. Very pleasant surroundings and ambiance. Open fire and comfy seating by entrance a nice touch. Our table overlooked beer garden which looked lovely in sun and would be great in Summer months. Overall it was pleasant enough but had high expectations and it wasn't quite up to those. Three people had puddings, Eton Mess and Lemon tart, which they enjoyed very much.
