We can’t recommend Paul highly enough. He has done a fantastic job of installing ceiling lights and shelf lighting as well as electric sockets in our home. He helped with the selection of fittings and gave excellent advice. He always replied to text messages and arrived promptly each time he visited. We would definitely use him again. He’s a very tidy worker and left the area he was working on cleaner than it was when he arrived!

Incredibly impressed with the work that Paul and Ben have carried out this week. Having recently moved into an older property, a few items required attention such as installing ceiling lights and fans, disconnecting obsolete lighting and heating controls, updating the consumer unit and replacing the old garage electrics with new sockets and lighting. They carried out excellent work professionally, cleanly, and in a timely manner. Nothing was too much trouble and invoice came through exactly as quoted. Downlight have rewired my house, fitted solar panels along with the inventor and batteries in addition to helping arrange and install an air source heat pump. Due to the the long running job and different elements involved i got to meet many different members of the team. I was really impressed with how professional the team were with all of the work they carried out to high standard and snag free. A big plus was the communication was clear and frequent meaning everything was carried out exactly as we requested. All the team we meet were really friendly and nothing was ever to much trouble meaning they were great to work with. I would highly recommend and i will use again in the future.

Nick is one of those rare "finds". One that you don't want to share with others - because he will get even more busy! Excellent, neat work undertaken at a fair price. Nick works hard and very efficiently. He is clean and tidy, and can be trusted to just get on with it. He has undertaken a variety of work for me, from basic external power points to new consumer units and circuits. This has included working out and expediting some complex runs in heavy duty cabling for a sauna and air conditioning system. Always a pleasure to have him here! Nick and his co-worker Michael came out to us to undertake various electrical work, mainly a new fuse box, testing the electrics around the house and additional light fittings. Very competent, talked us through the process and what would be best for us. The estimate he provided was very competitive and very detailed — explaining exactly what we were getting and why (especially where the fuse box was concerned). Work was carried out to a high standard and completed very promptly, we had seen several electricians prior to Nick but he was so friendly, straightforward and knowledgeable it was a no-brainier to go with him. Would highly recommend and will 100% use Nick again for our electrical needs.

Nick was the last in a line of three electricians we found to fit out our new extension. He was the only one that showed up when he said he would, delivered a cost estimate when he said he would that was clear and transparent. Nick did a superb job of the installation having advised us on the way about what would work and what wouldn’t, finished it on time and to budget and it all worked as specified. Really pleased with the work carried out to install 2 x extractors and a PIV unit. The work was much more involved than first thought, and the poor guy was working in our loft on the hottest day of the year! But he returned a second day to finish up and the original price was honoured. A pleasure having you in our home and feeling the benefits of the extractors and PIV as soon as they were turned on!

Had a ventilation system fitted in the loft of a dormer bungalow. I’d already decided what I wanted when I filled in their online form so I wasn’t looking for advice or sales - the guy who called me was very nice and direct, quoted me a flat price and then I got an email with a link to a contract website which gave me all of the information I needed. I accepted the quote and someone called back to book the time which was not a long wait - I think from initial contact to complete it was less than a week. The guy fitting arrived at my house early but because someone was home when I got back 20 mins later he’d already put down the drop cloth, inspected the loft and brought everything needed inside. He was very respectful of my home, kept everything very clean, took his time to make sure everything was done properly. He also thoroughly explained how the system works, which settings to use. I don’t think I’ve got any negatives - communication was quick and clear, the price was what they quoted, the work was clean.

Both the men were very polite and efficient. Even though the weather was absolutely dreadful the man doing the cleaning still got up and cleaned the panels. Would recommend this company.
