Ceiling light switch fell out and I couldnt sort it out. Harris responded extremely quickly, and it was sorted out within 90mins! Good folk, and he knows his trade there is no doubt. Old school electrician that knows modern wiring backwards - use him, he's good :)

Our exterior lighting system failed. KC Electrical methodically isolated the cause of the fault to one of the 20+ year old light fittings. They then managed to find a near identical replacement. We valued their tenacity, professionalism and the bill was quite reasonable too. So HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We will certainly use them again.

The guys did my EICR in December. It’s an old house and I was dreading the results. It was quick, easy, they are all really friendly and took me through the results to make sure I understood. I needed an electrical installation report for insurance purposes. I sent a contact form to Nick and got a response within hours. During the inspection it was found that we needed a new consumer board and associated works to a secondary unit. Nick was prompt with his quote and once excepted made a date to do the work. He kept in touch and when the day arrived was on time. He was very friendly and professional throughout and insisted on cleaning up even though there was very little mess. Overall a fantastic job and reasonably priced too. I would definitely recommend him for any electrical work.

Nick is one of those rare "finds". One that you don't want to share with others - because he will get even more busy! Excellent, neat work undertaken at a fair price. Nick was the last in a line of three electricians we found to fit out our new extension. ROK Electrics designed, planned and installed the electrical power, heating, lighting and CAT6 network needed for our new factory unit. The installation was carried out on time and to budget and we are very pleased with the result. The radiant heaters we installed are particularly effective in the colder months.

I recently used ROK Electrics to update my downlights to LED to try to save on my electricity costs. I also upgraded my outside floodlight to LED for the same reason. David's work was excellent, he was on time and even vacuumed up after he had finished. I am thinking of buying an electric car and will certainly ask David to carry the work out for me. After 18 months of cooking by candlelight Andy saved our sanity, and fingertips, by coming to fix our multiway kitchen lighting. Andy was very thorough and, having had more than one previous electrician replace our switch, he identified & repaired a broken wire in an additional switch which has restored full lighting to us for the first time in forever. Lovely chap; courteous, clean and commendable. Quoted accurately and was on time with a smile. Highly recommend him and will definitely use him for further work. A real pleasure to deal with someone who knows their trade and does an excellent job.

Andy kindly came to check a series of lights in our kitchen when we were having issues with them. He called me prior to arriving, letting me know when to expect him and then thoroughly checked each light for any issues. He also offered to check our fire alarms and fuse box whilst he was there. Today I had my new electric wall heaters and bathroom electric towel rail fitted by two of the team. I can honestly say that they were very professional. D J Sorrell have been our "go to" for all electrical work and testing that has been required for at least ten years now. Dave is always helpful with advice, quick to attend when we have problems, and maintains all certification for us. We highly recommend them for a prompt and professional service.

We called because we needed the bulb changed for an external security light. We also asked for the time it stayed on to be changed. I also asked for a suggestion about lighting near a key safe. Dave offered us a reasonably priced solution and fitted it within a week. Can't recommend highly enough.

Dave has undertaken a few electrical jobs for me over a number of years. More recently in my new house he has replaced lights and installed new plug sockets. He is quick to respond and good at offering suggestions. He is also very tidy. I feel I can trust him to a do a good job and keep me informed of what is needed. I would recommend him.

DJ Sorrell have helped us with both external garden lighting and internal work. Our garden lighting was shorting, and Dave found and fixed the problem quickly. We then bought a set of garden lights that needed some drilling and cementing into our stone path, and that all went well too. Later on, we had an internal short circuit inside the house. Dave quoted for supplying and fitting a new fuse box. Once work had started, he found the underlying issue was due to some very bad wiring that was done by a previous electrician. He persistently chased it, and it took hours longer than we all anticipated. In the end, he found what could have been a dangerous fire risk, and fixed it in the least disruptive way possible. When he invoiced us, he charged exactly what he had quoted, with nothing extra added on. We not only recommend him, but would call him again for any future electrical jobs.
