Me and my wife recently moved to a new property with a solar panel system. We had to fix our roof which involved the removal and reinstallation of our solar array. We quickly found out that the company that installed this set up in the first place did a very poor job indeed: using the incorrect brackets on the roof, cabling loosely hung over the house and at times in the gutter, incorrect cabling and many other issues and problems. This “quality install” made a lot of sense as to why the company no longer exists! We wanted to bring in local professionals with a good reputation to help with solar install. Mark and his team from MG Cavil &. Co were incredibly professional and helpful with the whole process. Mark offering up some great experience and insights around solar systems that we have little knowledge on. His team were also very knowledgeable and efficient, helping to remove our panels initially and when the roof was completed, a full reinstall. The reinstall was delivered to a very high quality finish, with new brackets, new cables and a significantly improved cable management. It looked like a brand new install by the time they were finished. With everything tested and working perfectly, we couldn’t be happier with the work carried out and we highly recommend MG Cavil &. Co (specially to our friends and family). When we look to expand our solar system we will also be returning to Mark and his team.

As I considered getting a solar install I requested quotes from three companies. Mark came out to see me almost immediately, talked me through what is involved and how to plan a suitable install. The knowledge and level of detail was superb and I confidently booked his team in for the install. Mark dealt with the applications required, had scaffolders come and set up well in advance of the start date and then his team arrived. Ultra professional, just got on with the install and I'm blown away by the quality of the set up they've delivered for us. I'm fascinated by the analytics we are getting through the GivEnergy system that Mark's team has set up for us and very much looking forward to our first negative bill - just wish the clouds would go away! Did research beforehand and identified 3 potential suppliers. I chose M G Cavill because they have a good reputation, are local to me for support and the quote was clear and fair. The whole team are excellent and very knowledgeable, answering every question clearly and in detail. The actual installation was quick and very neat and tidy. Now enjoying substantial savings on my electricity!

From quote to finished job, Alan was quick and carried excellent work on rewiring our kitchen in addition to the installation of a new consumer unit and carrying out the the EIRC checks. I thouroughly recommend Voltfix and admire Alan's attention to detail.

I used Voltfix electrical ltd through a recommendation of a friend in Andover. I wanted to change my electrical layout in my two bed semi to match my renovation idea. Voltfix where very knowledgeable and helped us design and install all the electrics with a big lightswitch which controls all downstairs lighting from one place. New plug sockets in kitchen and oven power. Nice under counter lights. They put a new plug for new TV position. And they then sorted upstairs electrics out as I changed my 2 bedroom into 3 bedroom, needed separate lights for new bedroom and sockets moving into new positions. Voltfix electrical where great from start to finish, I recieved all my certificates 2 weeks after they finished. I would definitely recommend them

Alen wired my cooker into the wall and fitted a new fuse. Sorted my tumble dryer out so it reaches the socket. All my appliances are working and doing as they are asked. So Alen gets my vote and I recommend him. (And my chihuahua loves him).

Alen rewired our garage for us, September 2024. You couldn't hope to find a more conscientious and thoroughly decent chap to work on your home. Before Alen came out to quote, I already had a good idea of what I wanted, and had received another quote. Alen was absolutely spot on in his assessment of what was needed, didn't overcomplicate matters or try to sell me anything I didn't need. He made good suggestions of ways to help future proof the installation (e.g. ensuring the wiring was ready for an electric garage door and car charger) which made only a very small difference to the overall quote, which was very reasonable. Alen expected to take 2 days to do the work, but worked long days and came back on an extra day at his own expense because he wanted to get the job just right - his workmanship is extremely neat and tidy. I like to think that I'm pretty savvy when it comes to tradesmen (we own several rental properties as well as our own) and I couldn't recommend Alen highly enough. He's also just such a nice fellow.
