“Major partial and corrective full house rewire including conservatory, garden and shed circuits. Having trolled through all the various sites recommending electricians we opted for RGN Electitians, a local company to us in Hythe. Our first contact was through their website contact page, the next day we received a call to set up an initial meeting. Gregg arrived and went through our requirements and then checked the whole site, leaving us with a date for the EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report), this was going to be a big job as he identified 80 faults of varying importance. The work started on 2nd May, we had two guys for four days and three for one. The job took a total of ten days spread over three months by mutual agreement. We now have a safe house with all lighting circuits protected with the correct earthing, something missing completely. All wiring was checked, with nothing replaced which was up to code, this also saved us a fortune as a total rewire would have been horrendous. These guys did a great job, installing mains powered heat and smoke censers, new circuits for future use in the kitchen and wet room, totally rewiring the garden lighting circuits to comply with the code and new energy-saving lights in the master bedroom and shed. They also supplied and fitted a Hive central heating control system and a Hamilton remote control for the garden lighting. We were very impressed as to how punctual, polite, hard-working and clean working they were, at the end of the day you would not have known anyone had been working. The work was not cheap but they did have a lot of work to do and we are very happy with the final result and would have absolutely no hesitation in fully recommending these guys, in fact, we have said that we will call them back when we upgrade the gas cooker to an induction hob and oven in the kitchen and a new power shower in the wet room.
