James and the Nags Bar and Kitchen team were amazing for our 130 person wedding in July 2024. The quality of the food was incredible - we got so many compliments, and the service was amazing, such a friendly and professional team. We also used the team to run the bar and the drinks were perfect. It was a DIY wedding and thanks to James and the team, the whole weekend ran so smoothly. No request was ever too much, James always found a way to make things work, and we could not recommend him and the team more.

James and his team were absolutely fantastic for our wedding in the summer of 2021. James was great in the build up to the big day. Due to not living where we were getting married we were unable to trial any food and were slightly apprehensive but we shouldn’t have been! The quality of the food was truly outstanding. The team were so friendly and professional, nothing was too much and they were a pleasure to have at our wedding. I just spent a weekend at a wedding in Hampshire. It was a joyous and fabulous weekend, and much of it was due to the wonderful crew from The Nags Bar and Kitchen team. The food was fantastic, the drinks - both soft and not - were plentiful, but perhaps most importantly the crew were just lovely, and kind and thoughtful. The happiness everyone felt for the grooms set the tone, but the weekend could not have been as joyful and just plain fun, without The Nags Bar and Kitchen. I recommend them without hesitation.

I cannot recommend Stacey & her team enough! I worked with them for the first time last summer (although I had heard great things from other suppliers previously). It was effortless! Everything ran so seamlessly; nothing was too much trouble. They helped gather people for photos, which is always great! Stacey is a genuine, warm, helpful and wise person. She is very personable and grasps a good understanding of individuals, couples and their visions for their dream celebrations. We opted for on the day management and this was invaluable especially as we had a number of unforeseen challenges to contend with in the run up to and on the day (15.06.24) such as our wedding cake maker cancelling just one month before and entertainment arriving late on the day! Her team are proactive, resourceful and good fun. On our day, Jess was leading and she and the rest of the team were great engaging with us, our guests and even leading on the Candy by Cameo dance 💃🏻 Thoughtful messages and gifts from Stacey before and on the day really enhanced the experience for us and we can wholeheartedly recommend the service she provides for anyone who wants full planning and/or on-the-day coordination for weddings or any celebration in fact!

We are so grateful to have had Stacey as our wedding coordinator – I honestly can’t say enough good things! We both agreed, that hiring Stacey was hands down one of the best investments we made for our wedding. We had the best day of our lives and having Stacey and Ali there on the day meant we could enjoy our day to the absolute max! Everything was considered and organised so well, from our quick-fire family photos to Stacey’s genius plan of doing a receiving line on the way out of the drinks reception to make sure our guests started to make their way to their seats on time. We received so many compliments from our guests about Stacey and Ali and how brilliant they were. The fact that we are still WhatsApp-ing 2 months after the wedding tells you all you need to know – Stacey genuinely cares about the couples she works with. We used Ginger to cater our wedding day and the evening before. Everything was perfect, from initial menu planning with Sally and her team to creating specific individual menu requests, (they were amazingly creative and thoughtful every step of the way), through to a wonderful tasting of multiple options, refining menu choices, always on hand in the months leading up to answer any and all questions we had and to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted, and then bringing it all completely smoothly to life on our wedding day. We had so many guests say it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. The presentation and taste of all of the food was perfect. Can’t recommend Ginger highly enough. Anyone in the process of deciding between caterers, you cannot go wrong with Sally and her team, we wish we could have all the food again!!

Absolute Perfection! Our October ‘24 wedding at Somerley House was outstanding from start to finish. The food tasting was one of our favorite parts of wedding planning. We felt so spoiled being able to sample so many delicious dishes and desserts. By the end, we were so full that Sally practically had to roll us out the door 😂. On our wedding day, the catering team knocked it out of the park. During cocktail hour, they passed around a variety of hors d’oeuvres, and we received fantastic feedback from our guests. Everyone raved about how great the food was, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate those with allergies, offering thoughtful options for everyone. Many of our guests even mentioned how friendly and personable the staff were, taking the time to chat about all things british culture and getting to know them. A couple staff members even brought a selection of hors d’oeuvres directly to me and Sam (my husband), which was such a thoughtful touch. The wedding breakfast (dinner) was equally flawless. The team expertly managed a variety of dietary needs, including gluten and seafood allergies, without compromising the quality or flavor of the meal. The trio of desserts they served was so incredible that I’m still dreaming about it today! As an American marrying a Brit, we knew it would be challenging to balance two different sets of cultural food expectations. I can well see why Ginger Catering are recommended caterers for Somerley, they provide a faultless first class service. The food was absolutely delicious, plentiful, and so beautifully presented. Kate was our wedding DJ and honestly we couldn’t have asked for better. After rearranging our wedding with her on multiple occasions and confusing her initially with our music taste (sorry Kate!) she not only pulled it off but she smashed it out of the park. She showed off her talents as not only a great DJ but as a makeshift seamstress when she helped adjust my dress so I could get through the first dance! Kate was lovely and we would definitely recommend her!

Kate was absolutely amazing and professional from the moment she arrived there. Despite a rather big crowd at the wedding, she came to find myself and my wife and greeted/congratulated us when she arrived. The first dance and the follow up song was the most beautiful part of the wedding and it’s all thanks to Kate. Then we did the Wedding Anniversary dancing game which was really fun. Kate was the DJ all day for our wedding on the 5th November 2021, providing music for the ceremony, mics for the wedding breakfast and full disco for the evening reception. She was incredible throughout the day, going above and beyond her duties! She was excellent at communication throughout the booking leading up to the wedding day and so warm and friendly. She got our music taste perfectly and the range of music played was exactly want we wanted and more, and the dance floor was busy all night!

Could not have asked for a better dance floor and light arrangement for our wedding. The dance floor with LED lights looked amazing and the large light up letters looked great. Working with Elizabeth Jane Events was also simple, super professional and an excellent experience. On the wedding day, the set up was so slick - they only had an hour between dinner finishing and dancing started. I didn't even notice the transition!! No issues at all. Everything was collected on time and with no issues the following day. Would highly recommend!

We hired large letters spelling ‘MR & MRS WILLIS’ for the dance floor of our wedding. They were perfect and just what we had in mind. Really added to the photos! We were very impressed with how easy delivery and collection was. Thank you so much!

Fabulous service, highly recommend. Elizabeth James Events responded to our last minute request for some customised balloon decor to help us celebrate our corporate 20th anniversary. Their response to my initial query was very prompt and they worked with me to take my initial idea and turn it into something wonderful, despite the short turnaround time. The service from start to end was excellent, with great communication, professionalism and a great delivery and setup service on the day. We've booked with them for our Christmas event too, and I know we won't be disappointed. Very pleased, thank you.

We adored everything about having Elizabeth James Events be apart of our Wedding. Everything provided looked amazing and we were so happy with it, especially the Festoon Frame. It created the cozy atmosphere we wanted for the ceremony and the show stopper backdrop for us at the wedding breakfast. It then was perfectly positioned for our evening guests as a backdrop photo op, so a real focal point throughout the day! Thank you for letting our florist add the flowers on, it was simply perfect! The light up love letters were a great feature for the dancefloor, and the light up love heart made a stunning addition to our decoration at the sweet table we had. The communication before was also spot on - with prompt replies and being so helpful answering all our questions.

We got married at the Greyhound on the Test this summer and had the most amazing day. The setting is beautiful and Wilds were brilliant. Sophie was great throughout the planning process and everything went perfectly on the day. The biggest thank you to Sophie, Lucy and the rest of the Wilds team for an absolutely perfect wedding. Everything was stunning. They guided us through the whole process calmly and with kindness and were very adaptable given our short timeline. None of my idiosyncratic requests was made to feel beyond the realm of possibility, the whole team thought creatively about how to realise the ideas in our head on budget. On the big day Wilds paid careful attention to all the tiniest details, and were cool and professional with all the big stuff. Neither of us had to think about anything other than having a great time. We loved the sharing menu and had so many comments about how delicious the food was, how much of it there was and how seasonally sensitive it was. The canapés were phenomenal too. We wish we could do it all again!

Where shall we start !! At the beginning …… Sophie’s calm professional manner when we first spoke at the greyhound ( highly recommended ) made us feel at ease and confident that she could deliver. We were not disappointed ! Consistent updates, top notch suppliers , wonderful tasting sessions and visits to the incredible florist. As a wedding photographer I always want to be in inspired by not only my couples story but their venue too and I don't think I could ever stop being inspired and feeling creative by Euridge Manor and all her splendour, both inside and out. My couples wedding was over two days using stunning florals to enhance aspects such as the boathouse and the boat itself. My perspective is from the garden design profession but my description or images really don't do this one justice. Wow! Zeleka and her team were exceptional. In the lead up to the day, we had regular check ins and an open WhatsApp chat to voice any questions or concerns. The day itself couldn’t have gone as well without Zeleka, Sophia and Grace. They were professional, treated our guests with care and made sure that everyone was informed about what was going on. I’m a Project Manager in my day to day and so I truly didn’t think I would be able to fully relax on the wedding day but I was definitely able to and had the most perfect day. From the first phone call I had with Zeleka, her confidence and experience shone through. Straight away she gave me connections for suppliers I had not found yet such as catering and production. Also advice on timeline and logistics. I trusted Zeleka with the vision of the wedding and knew that it was in very safe hands. Before the wedding we had numerous phone calls and a site visit. I felt very comfortable relaying my vision and what I wanted. Zeleka was also a great sound board and when it came to things that wouldn’t work aswell. A huge thank you to Zeleka and the team for all their help with our wedding day. From our first phone call Zeleka was kind, helpful, professional and informative and I knew we were in good hands. I toed and froed for a while about the need for wedding day coordination from a budget perspective and given we had a good venue booked, but it was honestly the best money we spent in the end and I'm so glad we went for TWC- I can’t imagine now how it would have gone without them and I would recommend to all who are a bit type A (!) and want to feel all eventualities are accounted for. The stress she alleviated in the lead up to the wedding by liasing with all suppliers was absolutely invaluable. As soon as I saw emails going through to our vendors one by one, a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders and I could focus on looking forward to my big day. And then the day came! I had wanted no stress on the day for me or my close ones, and whilst a bit of this was inevitable, Zeleka really left me largely worry free.
