Kate was unbelievable at our wedding reception. Everyone was dancing all night long, her music choices were fantastic. She is lovely & professional. Highly recommend.

Kate was the DJ all day for our wedding on the 5th November 2021, providing music for the ceremony, mics for the wedding breakfast and full disco for the evening reception. She was incredible throughout the day, going above and beyond her duties! She was excellent at communication throughout the booking leading up to the wedding day and so warm and friendly. She got our music taste perfectly and the range of music played was exactly want we wanted and more, and the dance floor was busy all night!

Kate was our wedding DJ and honestly we couldn’t have asked for better. After rearranging our wedding with her on multiple occasions and confusing her initially with our music taste (sorry Kate!) she not only pulled it off but she smashed it out of the park. She showed off her talents as not only a great DJ but as a makeshift seamstress when she helped adjust my dress so I could get through the first dance! Kate was lovely and we would definitely recommend her!

We adored everything about having Elizabeth James Events be apart of our Wedding. Everything provided looked amazing and we were so happy with it, especially the Festoon Frame. It created the cozy atmosphere we wanted for the ceremony and the show stopper backdrop for us at the wedding breakfast. It then was perfectly positioned for our evening guests as a backdrop photo op, so a real focal point throughout the day! Thank you for letting our florist add the flowers on, it was simply perfect! The light up love letters were a great feature for the dancefloor, and the light up love heart made a stunning addition to our decoration at the sweet table we had. The communication before was also spot on - with prompt replies and being so helpful answering all our questions.

Fabulous service, highly recommend. Elizabeth James Events responded to our last minute request for some customised balloon decor to help us celebrate our corporate 20th anniversary. Their response to my initial query was very prompt and they worked with me to take my initial idea and turn it into something wonderful, despite the short turnaround time. The service from start to end was excellent, with great communication, professionalism and a great delivery and setup service on the day. We've booked with them for our Christmas event too, and I know we won't be disappointed. Very pleased, thank you.

I used Elizabeth James for a New Year’s Eve party I was working on for Raggy&Boo. I ordered a glitter backdrop and multiple orb balloons as well as a balloon arch, all were absolutely brilliant. Leading up to the event the correspondence was perfect as well as on the day of the installation. The team were on time and quick to setup. I will certainly use Elizabeth James again.

We hired large letters spelling ‘MR & MRS WILLIS’ for the dance floor of our wedding. They were perfect and just what we had in mind. Really added to the photos! We were very impressed with how easy delivery and collection was. Thank you so much!

We hired Suzanne to organise my little sisters wedding. From the outset Suzanne was absolutely charming, knowledgeable, amazingly organised and clearly passionate about what she does. Having Rosie as part of our wedding day (and the months leading up to it) was one of the best decisions we made. She was so calm, composed and “on it” throughout the whole process that we couldn’t help but feel that way too! She is incredibly knowledgeable and just bubbling with amazing ideas. Having a marquee wedding on our family farm, we really appreciated her expert eye but also her focus on the environment and sustainability. My only regret is that we discovered Rosie about halfway through our planning - I only wish we could have worked with her from the beginning.

We held our daughter’s wedding in the walled garden. Bryonie was amazing in helping us pull the event together working with us and our suppliers throughout. Tony did a brilliant job in setting everything up. As for the venue itself. Fabulous. The ideal venue with the walled garden providing a blank canvass to create the perfect dream day. Our guests were stunned many commenting that it was breathtaking.

Holywell Estate is one of the Souths most beautiful event venues. Apart from it's natural beauty what really sets it apart from other venues is the warm welcome, and superb service you get when you book or attend any kind of even here. We celebrated our wedding at Holywell Estate on 22nd July. The weather was awful but Bryonie, George and the team were absolutely fantastic! Nigel and Helen were so helpful with the preparations and their guidance and tips were invaluable. We recently got married at Rownhams House. It is such a beautiful venue. Both indoors and outdoors are absolutely stunning and the guests at our wedding were full of compliments for it! Nigel and Helen run the house and are such kind, thoughtful and helpful people. They made sure our wedding day ran perfectly because they were so organised. It was seamless! Again, all the guests commented on this. Throughout the planning period they were always on the end of the phone/email if we needed them and no question/ask was too big. I honestly don’t know what to say, Helen and Nigel were absolutely incredible from the very first time I contacted them to the day itself. They think of every last thing and their can do attitude helps to make all your dreams a reality. My grandad, who was walking me down the aisle, was unexpectedly diagnosed with terminal cancer and when I contacted them one Saturday asking if there was any chance he could visit so he knew what he was working towards they didn’t think twice before making it happen. It meant the world to me, and it was this type of attitude that was carried through the entire year of planning and during the wedding day. I genuinely could not rate them highly enough, if I could give them 100 stars I would! We visited some venues that felt just like wedding factories. Rownhams house couldn’t be more different from that. If you are a looking for a wedding venue that has the extravagant feel of downtown abbey with the homely and warm feeling of home, this is absolutely the venue for you. We recently held our summer wedding at Rownhams House and what a wonderful day we had. Nigel and Helen were excellent in the face of our enquiries in the lead up to the big day, and everything ran without a hitch. As a worrier and a perfectionist, I can be difficult to reassure, but this was never an issue for Nigel and Helen. They clearly know what they’re doing but at no point does that make it feel ‘run of the mill’; our day felt personal, well organised and special. The house will hold a place in our hearts and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others as a venue nor to return for other events in the future.

We've had the pleasure of performing at The Clock Barn for a full day Wedding. The indoor ceremony space was set out beautifully, there was plenty of room for guests to navigate their seats and for the photographer and videographer to move around quietly during the service. The outdoor space was perfect for music, afternoon drinks and canapes, we performed an outdoor set in the gardens where there was plenty of shade and outdoor seating. Overall the venue is stunning but equally the events team are so welcoming and friendly, they were very efficient with the room turn around and running of the day seemed effortless for the team, they work so well with vendors which was so refreshing to see! We really hope we get to come back and work at this beautiful venue again soon. If you're looking for a wedding venue that ticks all the boxes this is it! 🖤

I’ve had the pleasure of capturing a number of weddings at Clock Barn, as well as attending as a guest. As a wedding photographer, capturing several weddings at Clock Barn in Whitchurch has been an absolute pleasure. The venue offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and elegance, with its stunning barn setting, beautiful surrounding gardens, and warm, inviting atmosphere. The natural light streaming through the barn creates a magical backdrop for photos, and the staff are always incredibly accommodating and professional, ensuring every wedding runs smoothly. We got married at clock barn yesterday!!! I literally cannot fault anything. The food wouldn't go amiss in a Michelin star restaurant. The staff were attentive. Friendly. Busy. Our manager Noni was simply amazing. Her attention to detail, Friendly and approachable manner meant everything went without so much a blip. The grounds are kept immaculately. The rooms are to die for. I wouldn't think twice about recommending the clock barn to everyone I know looking to get married. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made our special day PERFECT.

We are so thankful to Clock Barn for playing such a huge part of making our wedding the best day of our lives. From the first moment we walked into Clock Barn for a tour we fell madly in love and knew its where we wanted our day! (the gorgeous long driveway too) From the point onwards the planning journey was exciting and supported so well by the team at Clock Barn and especially Georgi. They consider all the little details, listened to our wants and we're flexible and helped us with advice and support. There planner meant that the day was clear, we knew every little detail and so did the team at Clock Barn. So when the day came we both felt so relaxed knowing it was in safe hands. There were so many extra details that I never expected also, from car park attendants helping people find there way and expert service in the dining so everyone's plate is placed at once per table. They really did make everything run like Clock Work! On the day they decorated the place beautifully to our plans, they looked after us and our guests perfectly and really made us feel so special. We used the prep room for getting ready which I'd hugely recommend as it's such a perfect space to spend with your bridal party the morning of. Again all the little details taken in to account like enough hanging space and plenty of seats etc. Then we also stayed in the farmhouse/Hayloft for the night of. Our guests loved the rooms in the farmhouse and how beautiful the rooms were and we were in awe of the Hayloft- didn't want to leave. The best thing in our opinion on the accommodation is the breakfast the morning after. The long table in the farmhouse with close family/friends was so special to reminisce the moments. The breakfast was continental with delicious pancakes but we were well looked after by providing tea/coffee, toast, more jams etc. We are just beyond grateful to the team at Clock Barn for making our dream a reality!
