I used Elizabeth James for a New Year’s Eve party I was working on for Raggy&Boo. I ordered a glitter backdrop and multiple orb balloons as well as a balloon arch, all were absolutely brilliant. Leading up to the event the correspondence was perfect as well as on the day of the installation. The team were on time and quick to setup. I will certainly use Elizabeth James again.

We adored everything about having Elizabeth James Events be apart of our Wedding. Everything provided looked amazing and we were so happy with it, especially the Festoon Frame. It created the cozy atmosphere we wanted for the ceremony and the show stopper backdrop for us at the wedding breakfast. It then was perfectly positioned for our evening guests as a backdrop photo op, so a real focal point throughout the day! Thank you for letting our florist add the flowers on, it was simply perfect! The light up love letters were a great feature for the dancefloor, and the light up love heart made a stunning addition to our decoration at the sweet table we had. The communication before was also spot on - with prompt replies and being so helpful answering all our questions.

Fabulous service, highly recommend. Elizabeth James Events responded to our last minute request for some customised balloon decor to help us celebrate our corporate 20th anniversary. Their response to my initial query was very prompt and they worked with me to take my initial idea and turn it into something wonderful, despite the short turnaround time. The service from start to end was excellent, with great communication, professionalism and a great delivery and setup service on the day. We've booked with them for our Christmas event too, and I know we won't be disappointed. Very pleased, thank you.

Could not have asked for a better dance floor and light arrangement for our wedding. The dance floor with LED lights looked amazing and the large light up letters looked great. Working with Elizabeth Jane Events was also simple, super professional and an excellent experience. On the wedding day, the set up was so slick - they only had an hour between dinner finishing and dancing started. I didn't even notice the transition!! No issues at all. Everything was collected on time and with no issues the following day. Would highly recommend!

We worked with Anouska on a New Year's Eve party and couldn't recommend her more highly! She had a really clear overarching vision for the evening whilst also being open to suggestions from us. Everything was really well organised and the whole event was a great success. We look forward to working with Raggy&Boo again at some point.

We worked with Anouska at Raggy and Boo on two fantastic events during 2023. The first was a spectacular wedding for 250 guests and the second an equally impressive New Years Eve Party for the same numbers. No job was too big or too small, she was ready and waiting for our entrance to the venue with a glass of champagne and a smile and was just the most wonderful, calm and competent energy. I attempted a wedding fair at the holiday inn and event Themes immediately caught my eye the table display looked beautiful and I knew I I wanted them to decorate our venue. Unfortunately our wedding got cancelled three times down to covid but jodie was amazing and kept in contact with me all the way through. On our wedding day the room looked incredible, the attention to detail was spotless and I couldn’t of been more happy it was perfect. Thank you so much jodie for making my wedding dreams come true 🥰

5 stars are not enough! From the day I met Jodie she put my mind at ease! I didn't have a clue where to begin planning a wedding, Jodie patiently sat down with me (and my Pinterest board) and went through everything. Jodie made examples of the centerpieces I had shown her in our colour scheme and they were exactly what we had wanted. Closer to the date Jodie met with myself and my husband and made sure we had everything we needed and reminded us of things we'd forgotten along the way. Throughout the whole process Jodie was never pushy for us to spend more money and worked alongside us with our budget. On the day everything was beautiful and the time and effort spent on every little detail was obvious. I would recommend event themes for any occasion and will definitely be using them again for future events! Thank you!

We had a memorable wedding thanks to this company. So professional but friendly at the same time., with great attention to detail. Some things we forgot, thank god for Jodie she was good at coming up with the finer things! We got everything we asked for and more! The flowers where incredible and the colour scheme exactly what we wanted. I could not recommend more!

Her artistic arrangements are just beautiful and her ability to truly listen to her clients makes the displays and the work she produces so personal and unique. We used The Events Co for our wedding at New Barn Farm this summer and could not recommend them enough. Their furniture/crockery hire service was so seamless with delivery the day ahead of when we started set up which gave us plenty of time, the catering was exceptional - they worked with us to create a bespoke BBQ menu and all the guests commented afterwards how great the food was - and the team’s waiting and bar staff were so accommodating and friendly. But Kirsty’s on the day coordination was by far the star of the show and something I would recommend to any couple. Nothing phased her - specific guest requirements, room change overs, even last minute change of plans due to the weather - she made our day run so smoothly and we’ll be forever grateful!

We decided to use Events Co for our wedding at Appuldurcombe House after meeting Khia at two Wedding fayre’s at Medina & IOW Pearl. From the very start Khia had the answers in terms of power, toilets, tables, food, decor, staff, a bar and so much more specifically at our venue and had several meetings and phone calls with us over a 22 month period building up to the big day. Consistent calls and emails with Khia and her colleague Kirsty ensured everything we had booked and wanted was ready to go and nothing was ever forced or unreasonable, if anything the opposite. As the wedding approached they really came in to their own, checking on finer details such as what flavour ice creams we preferred on the ice cream bike and the positioning of the burger van (out of a horse box) they had also provided. On the Thursday and Friday like clockwork Khia and the team were there, everything as ordered and being set up exactly how we wanted it, at one point extra staff were there to help set up the tables and decorate, something we didn’t even expect! Every member of the team worked so hard to get our wedding ready and on the day they were great with on the day coordination from Khia themself and the canapés, two course lunch (3 choices for each course) and then our burger and chips van exceeded expectation and got great feedback from our guests! Khia and the team remained on hand all day and eve to ensure rooms were switched round and pudding tables were topped up as well as keeping the guests watered at the bar! Full of good spirits, banter, accommodating our guests needs and having pics with my dad and refusing my mums supply of apple pies she had got reduced the day before! The wedding went perfectly and Events Co made it what it was without doubt! They were legends all of them and a massive part of our day being what it was. Thank you so much Adan & Harriet!

We had the pleasure of working with Kirsty, Khia and the entire team at Events Co. for our wedding, and their contribution was nothing short of extraordinary. From the start, we received the most professional and honest service. We appreciated that nothing was forced on us and we could pick exactly what we needed for our big day. Nothing was too much trouble and whatever we requested along the way was met with a smile and was delivered efficiently. They supported us closely the entire time and helped us with the entire set up of the venue and organised everything to run smoothly the weeks leading up to the wedding. From our first meeting we got the comforting feeling that they genuinely care for each of their clients and understand what you are visioning easily within couple of minutes. We would recommend them to be hired as your wedding coordinators as they are the best in the events field and would give you the personal touch and care that you need especially at some of the most stressful weeks before the big day. Communication smooth and efficient throughout the planning process, and they were always prompt with in addressing our questions and concerns. Even when there were few stressful moments, Kirsty and Khia already though ahead and had a solution for every issue that occurred or may have occurred. On set-up day everyone went above and beyond to make everything look beautiful and better than what we even imagined. A big shout out to Koo, who designed all our stationary and put up with all of our demands even until the week before printing. We would also like to mention that everything we hired was in great condition and the furniture looked great when all set up. Khia & Kirsty @ The Events Co were so helpful in making sure our wedding ran smoothly this Summer! They took care of furniture, catering, staffing, on the day co-ordination and moral support!! Invite events limited provided us with some light up letters for a party and I couldn’t fault them. They arrived and set up whilst I wasn’t at the venue, which was a nice surprise to arrive too. They picked the best spot to set up and it looked great. They were prompt to collect at the end of the evening. Would highly recommend.

John and the team were absolutely fantastic! They were incredibly responsive to all my emails and questions leading up to the event. We hired 360 photobooth, lettering and silent disco. On the day, they were on-site exactly when promised, and handled all my queries with patience and a smile, even when I was a bit indecisive. We had an amazing experience with John as our wedding DJ! From our first contact, he was incredibly efficient, responsive, and genuinely helpful, making the whole process so much easier. We opted for the DJ service, laser light, and the giant “Mr & Mrs Smith” light letters, all of which added a special touch to our evening. John kept the energy up all night with a fantastic array of music that appealed to everyone. The dance floor was always full, and our guests had a wonderful time. Inspired Island decorated the tables and chairs for our wedding and reception and did the flower arrangements as well. Everything was so beautiful! Hayley was so kind and great to work with in helping us to choose what we wanted and Chris made the most beautiful wildflower meadow-themed flower arrangements.

Chris and the team made our wedding amazing, we really couldn’t have done it without them. In the shop and over email they were so helpful beforehand and on the day they came, transformed the place and packed away without us even aware. Such a great service, couldn’t recommend enough. Rachel and Carrie were amazing from start to finish, we chose the following services: Planning Styling Coordination Prop Hire Signage We had regular meetings with Carrie throughout the year before the wedding, she worked with us using her years of experience to get both what we wanted and what was realistic/achievable. She was an amazing coordinator on the day of our wedding, working tirelessly throughout to make sure everything was perfect. Rachel, who did our styling, knew exactly what we wanted and the end result was amazing, come rain or shine she was there to pull it all together! Even with a yellow weather warning in place they knew exactly what to do and were invaluable, we highly recommend this fantastic company ❤️

Could not praise the Wed & Prosper team any higher, even 5 stars seems an injustice. Carrie, Rachel and Flossy were unbelievable in helping us plan our wedding day - we truly could not have done it without them. From helping us liaise with 1000 different suppliers to hand picking flowers to build the centerpieces. Even on the day when things threatened to go wrong they were amazing in keeping us calm and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Thanks so much.

Where do we even begin! If you don’t already have Wed & Prosper for your wedding, then you must. We reached out to Carrie and Rachel within a matter of weeks after getting engaged 2 years ago, right from our first video call with them we knew they were right for us. We don’t live on the island so their contacts and expertise was essential for us. Nothing was ever too much trouble, any idea we had was noted down and made happen, any worries or concerns we had were soon resolved and reassured. Any time we had a bit of pre-wedding wobbles, our regular video call with Carrie was sure to put us at ease. The whole team were always available to answer any emails or messages in a timely manner also. As well as full planning, we also had stationary and floristry from Rachel. Wow. What an amazing job she did. Our whole vision was captured to perfection, we could not have been happier with the end result. Then came the day, we had Carrie as our on the day coordinator and her talents continued to impress. Not only did the day run perfectly smoothly, but when I had a dress malfunction Carrie was on hand with a needle, thread and cocktail in hand for me! Just amazing. Working with Carrie and her team has been lovely. Their network of suppliers on and off the island is fantastic and they were great at bringing all different businesses together and sorting ferries/accommodation for the suppliers that weren't island based. English outdoor weddings always have a degree of risk.. and we had to come up with a wet weather plan the day before our wedding as the weather was not looking good... Carrie was so wonderful in coming up with new options, getting everyone to change the plan, and keeping me and my now husband calm! Had we not had Carrie I think our dream wedding would have turned out very different and so can't thank her enough.

Visited this place for a friend of mine to get married, good little pub to meet in at the bottom of the road just a short walk away. The staff were very helpful ok the day (although the man cutting his grass right through the ceremony wasn't ideal), truly beautiful setting set to get married, the caterers were brilliant and the bar selection was great too. I think the only downside to this place would be there is no congregating area outside if it were to rain, maybe a permanent gazebo like structure on the grounds would shield from some of the weather and even the sun! Definately a contender for my own wedding! Will be visiting again I'm sure!

We went for the Santas grotto. The Father Christmas was probably the most realistic one I have ever seen. The elves and Santa were brilliant gave a really nice message to the children and made it really special. However my son was very disappointed in getting ‘a girls present’. It was a doodle bean toy but was pink themed and was very disappointed.

Where to start, On first views of the barn my (now) wife and I fell in love with the architecture, ambience and charm of the Barn. The correspondence with Adam and Kay was brilliant, thorough and kept us at ease. It is very versatile with decorations and very accommodating for a lot of different styles depending on your taste. The stage and tiered seating was perfect for those viewing our ceremony and having the other half used for the food and catering was perfect. There is plenty of space for guests and parking and also stunning views of the Abbey next door and a field for wedding photos. A VERY special mention has to be given to Sophie our wedding coordinator who was invaluable to our wedding being a success. From first meeting of Sophie she made us feel confident with our vision and helped in setting-up the barn, made sure the day ran smoothly, and setting down the barn. We cannot overstate enough how amazing she is!! We would recommend anyone who is looking for a barn wedding venue to seriously consider using The Great Barn!
