âWe ordered a Party Box from My Special Event Boxes 4 U for our 5-year old's birthday party, who was needing a smaller party due to Covid and wanting that special themed event made extra special for him. We are both busy working parents and just wanted someone to do everything for us and simply opening a box containing a party was just perfect for us. We contacted the website's owner Zoe Pniewski and was delighted with her friendly nature and really thoughtful ideas for our son's box. We wanted good quality and was very pleased with many suggestions we had not thought about. We opted for her Superhero's Marvel Avengers Box, which is his current favourite theme! We had great communication throughout and just sat back and waited for his box to arrive ahead of his party. The box arrived and we could not have been happier, everything was packaged beautifully, very well labelled and contained top quality party items. We had everything to set up a full party table, room decorations and even party games, party bags and plenty of balloons. The party was a huge success with very little for me to do other than open and set the party room! âWe had our wedding here on June 15 2024 after finding this beautiful venue over a year beforehand when in our initial planning stages. We were initially drawn to the venue by the picturesque grounds and beautiful interiors. After a virtual tour and a face to face visit, we fell even more in love with the place and decided to go ahead and place our deposit. Over the next year, we planned our day which, due to the natural beauty of the barn and grounds, required us to need minimal decorations - we didn't want to distract from the natural features of the barn or the lovely outside areas. Pippa was amazing throughout the whole planning stage, ensuring we were well prepared in the run up to the big day. Her personality and relaxed yet professional attitude shone through during our initial meets and really helped us to reach the decision to use the venue for our special day. Due to the unpredictable British weather, our original plan of being married outside was decided for us - the day before, we made the call to get married inside the barn due to the unwanted rain we were having. Although a little disappointed to have missed out on using the beautiful space outside for our ceremony, it was actually a blessing as our inside ceremony felt more intimate and enabled all of our guests to hear our wedding vows. We still managed to get some great photos later in the day within that beautiful space by the river having taken advantage of some intermittent sunshine. Pippa was around to help set up beforehand and on the wedding day itself, she (and her mum and partner) made the day go smoothly. The turnaround of the venue's indoor space (from ceremony, to wedding breakfast, to evening reception) was seamless and everything was set up to our requests and it looked beautiful. The wedding day itself was just perfect for us despite the on/off rain and Pippa definitely played a part in enabling our beautiful day to go so well. My family and I stayed in the South Wing the night before and night of the wedding. The accommodation was faultless and helped to create that calm atmosphere you need just before your wedding day. Who'd have thought we'd be appreciative of a log fire in June! Using the bridal suite to get ready with my bridesmaids was a real highlight. We all had so much space to do our thing with our hair and makeup artist also being able to set up with ample space, and our photographer able to navigate between us all with ease to get those all important 'getting ready' shots. Some of our guests stayed in the Courtyard the night of the wedding and passed on their comments as to how clean and comfortable the accommodation was. All in all, I would urge anyone to consider the Manor Estate for their wedding venue as not only is it breathtakingly gorgeous, but the help with planning and the support throughout the whole day was impeccable. Pippa really helped to completely eliminate any wedding-stress which allowed for all of us to enjoy such an amazing day together. Pippa - thank you so much for having us for our wedding day. You've helped to create memories that we will all treasure for the rest of our lives together. Thank you also to your mum for helping the bridal party to arrive to the ceremony without getting soaked! Also, thank you to Mr Pippa for his help throughout the day. âWe recently had the pleasure of getting married at Southend Barns over the Christmas period, and it was incredible. We were told when venue hunting that youâd know as soon as you found âthe oneâ and we got that feeling immediately during our tour of Southend Barns well over a year ago. The staff (particularly Kelly and Olivia) made us feel welcome and looked after straight away. The whole process of wedding planning went so smoothly and felt completely professional from start to finish. The venue staff were always available and responsive to any queries we had in the lead up to the wedding, and we had multiple planning sessions/ catch ups to make sure the day went without a hitch. Roots catering were simply exceptional. The menu-tasting evening was fantastic for getting a feel of the venue all dressed up, and we felt spoilt for choice with the selection of amazing food available. Our only regret was not being able to pick it all! Our guests commented that it was the best wedding food theyâd ever had! On the day, Kelly and the team had the events running like a well oiled machine. Considering weâd not been to tonnes of wedding previously, and there were multiple things we were unsure of for the actual running/timings of the day, the team delivered on their promise of us ânot having to look at a clock all dayâ. People were gently herded and directed exactly where they needed to be and when. If there ever was any issues such as spillages or smashed glassware, these were handled calmly and discreetly. Our guests were simply gushing about the venue, and we were so happy it turned out the way it did for a winter wedding. Itâs such a versatile venue that looks just as stunning and cosy on a sunny summers day as it does on a slightly windy and drizzly cold winters day like ours. The venue is completely able to handle large numbers of guests (we had 90 for the day and 120 for the evening) without feeling too crowded. All in all, we wouldnât hesitate to recommend this venue to anybody. Our winter wedding was simply magical and completely stress free thanks to the amazing staff. Our wedding day was without a doubt the best day of our lives and we owe a significant proportion of that to Southend Barns!â

âWhere do I start? . . . . . We had a lovely marquee wedding at the end of August and, to allow us to fully enjoy the day, we went looking for a wedding co-ordinator to run the day itself (as we were doing all the organising ourselves leading up to it) - what we ended up with was the Mary Poppins of wedding co-ordinators (complete with bottomless bag ready for ANY situation that may occur). Suzanne was everything we could have hoped for and more. From our first meeting with her, she presented herself as professional, experienced, dedicated and a truly lovely person to boot. While we didn't hire her services leading up to the wedding, she still made sure that she kept in touch, giving us little snippets of assistance in terms of where we were with our plans, drawing up a very comprehensive list of information to help with the structure of the day and checking in with us. Her insight when she came on a site visit was invaluable, to the point that we changed our intentions for where our guests entered (and what we finished with was truly perfect as well as feeling very natural). I was also able to reach out to Suzanne for help with other services, as her list of contacts was vast and each one with a proven track record (otherwise she wouldn't have recommended them), and it was down to her help that we were able to find a staffing agency for the waiters we needed. Her contacts also came in very, very useful as, a week before the wedding, our evening food supplier had to drop out. Suzanne was actually able to find some alternatives for us at such very late notice. Suzanne also insisted on coming onsite the day prior to the wedding to make sure that she was completely familiar with the set-up and what needed to be done the next day eg: We could set the tables up but the cutlery, crockery & glassware was arriving the morning of the wedding. When we arrived at the wedding, we were greeted by Suzanne and a member of staff with a) umbrellas (thankfully only needed for all of 5 minutes) and a drink, which was a lovely touch and epitomised the high level of excellence that Suzanne works to. We walked down the lawn to the marquee and when we got inside, it was the most incredibly magical experience - Suzanne had made sure that everything was exactly as it should be; the tables looked fantastic, the cake stand was brimming and everyone was laughing and talking with a Pimms or lemonade! Throughout the whole day, everything ran so incredibly smoothly with Suzanne's firm hand on the tiller. At no point did the service any of the staff provided seem rushed, lacking, or in any way anything other than amazing and that was down to her supervision; she had everything prepped and planned from the teapots & cake plates to the toast glasses and brownies. With a plane to catch the next day for her own 20th anniversary, Suzanne went well beyond the call of duty and at least the last hour of her time was off the clock as she just wanted to make sure that everything was sorted before she left, leaving us with so much less tidying to do ourselves the next day - it was great to see someone so invested in making your day special. âWe had the pleasure of working with Kirsty, Khia and the entire team at Events Co. for our wedding, and their contribution was nothing short of extraordinary. From the start, we received the most professional and honest service. We appreciated that nothing was forced on us and we could pick exactly what we needed for our big day. Nothing was too much trouble and whatever we requested along the way was met with a smile and was delivered efficiently. They supported us closely the entire time and helped us with the entire set up of the venue and organised everything to run smoothly the weeks leading up to the wedding. From our first meeting we got the comforting feeling that they genuinely care for each of their clients and understand what you are visioning easily within couple of minutes. We would recommend them to be hired as your wedding coordinators as they are the best in the events field and would give you the personal touch and care that you need especially at some of the most stressful weeks before the big day. Communication smooth and efficient throughout the planning process, and they were always prompt with in addressing our questions and concerns. Even when there were few stressful moments, Kirsty and Khia already though ahead and had a solution for every issue that occurred or may have occurred. On set-up day everyone went above and beyond to make everything look beautiful and better than what we even imagined. A big shout out to Koo, who designed all our stationary and put up with all of our demands even until the week before printing. We would also like to mention that everything we hired was in great condition and the furniture looked great when all set up. âI had an engagement ring ready to go for numerous weeks/months, but I just couldn't find the right moment or scenario that felt special enough. I then came across the proposal experts, and after a short consultation I had a list of 5 or 6 proposal ideas customised for me. They were carefully produced based on our discussion with included prices, descriptions, and pictures. After a couple more conversations we settled on Highcliffe castle, a setting safe from any poor October weather. They decorated the grand hall beautifully, organised an acoustic singer with my chosen song, a photographer, and constructed the scenario to enable the big surprise. My proposal could not have gone better, it was beautiful, we even got the weather so were able to head down to the beach for extra photos. If there is anyone out there wanting to propose, but unsure how you want to do it, eliminate the stress and get in touch with Nadia and Sophia, let them deal with it :)â

âPop Up Photo Box was an amazing addition to our wedding celebration!! The guests absolutely loved it, and we have loved looking through our guestbook at all the different photos! Aston was brilliant; he replied promptly, nothing was too much trouble and he made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. Charlie was our attendant for the day and she was incredible!! She had wonderful energy, interacted with the guests and made sure everyone had so much fun. There was a wide selection of props and it was such a hit, people kept going back again and again!
